    Thank you for this tutorial. I watched a tutorial for CRAW/PRAW & she had a tool she came up with, & sells it in her shop for $15. But I find I like your tool better & the way you use it. For me it is easier. I tweaked mine a little. I put 3 different color seed beads on my 3 craw. 4 on my 4 craw & same for the 5. That way I don't have to remember which color is 3, 4 or 5.

    I got this idea from Beadwork Magazine a while ago. I made them and they are a blessing to my frustrations everytime I had to start a new project; however, I made my starter with RAW, PRAW, etc. Either way you choose. they are lifesavers. I highly encourage you to do it once and use it many times!!!!

    Hey Kara - I have a tutorial suggestion. I’ve seen many bracelets with ‘fringe’ on the outside which consists of several beads each. I know how to do picot but I’m looking to make a more fun look. I’ve tried it on my own but it looks a mess when I finish. I don’t know how they make these individually strung 5-8 beads and put a bunch together in a small area to make it look so full. I don’t know if I’ve explained this well enough but there are so many examples on Pinterest and Etsy.
    I hope you find it would make a good video for others to learn.

    Thank you. Brilliant. I just want to make sure I understand. So for 3 praw we need 12 rows of peyote but you still picked up 20 black and 20 white to start for the length of the tube, correct? Craw would be 4 times 4 therefore 16 rows of peyote but you started with 20 for each of the two colors, right?

    • @KarasBeads
      @KarasBeads  2 года назад

      That’s right! Beads I pick up initially are just for length of tube. What matters is rows you bead before turning into tube.

    Kara - thanks again for this tutorial - we greatly appreciate the effort and time it takes to make these. But I do have a question - I know you always use NYMO thread. But do you condition it or anything before you thread your needle? I have the biggest problem threading the needle with thread because it splits - no matter what I do. I don’t have problems with WildFire and FireLine
    I see you are now using Miyuki needles - are these easier to thread? I know you said they don’t bend so I’m definitely going to get some. Just wondered if they are better or worse when using thread - or about the same as other needles? And lastly do you recommend any other type thread for jewelry? Thanks again for all that you do Kara. It means so much to people like me.

      Hi Jodi, I’m mostly using Miyuki thread and needles nowadays and have no issue threading the needle, you can see me doing it on videos as well. However, miyuki needle set comes with needle threader as well that will work great with threads, so give it a go 😊
