Well according to their lore, they used to be fine with each other. But...that's why I don't quite understand their history. They had been friends for a very long time before they had their falling out. Kaveh should've known how blunt Alhaitham is but that he cares about him nonetheless. Yet supposedly their relationship got tainted when Alhaitham said something insensitive. *...wHaT?* Like, have you met the dude? You can't tell me that over the time they spent together, Alhaitham wasn't *constantly* saying such things yet Kaveh was fine with it...until he wasn't? I get that Alhaitham talked about something very sensitive but again, Kaveh overreacted despite knowing how Alhaitham is. I'm starting to wonder if they really were friends back then because I can't fathom how someone could claim to be "best friends" yet not know how the other functions and takes such offense it breaks down the entire relationship.

He knew that was just how Alhaitham is, but even still maybe it was offense over a long time and he always had an issue with the bluntness. Still, every relation has its tipping point and Alhaitham probably went over a boundary and that probably lead to a lot of anxiety, frustration, and anger on Kaveh's side which lead to an argument. He's only so far seen bickering with Alhaithem because Alhaithem is pissed Kaveh went abroad instead of fighting Azar with him when like Azar was paying Kaveh to go abroad. Like bro Kaveh just got home and he's already involved with the political Sumeru problems. Maybe i'm biased but at let me talk to the man before I can say who's in the right.
