Man... I just, I wish we had more music like this today. Beastie Boys were way, ahead of their time. Appreciate these three MC's so much. Thanks for passing the mic.
Something I love about the Beastie Boys is that they made music because they wanted to. It's easy to see that they didn't give a shit about money or fame because, to them, it's just 3 friends making music for fun and the money and fame just happened to come with it. If they were nameless nobodies making $6 an hour at Walmart, they'd still be doing the same shit because they love the music and they love each other.

You're right. I'm a "young millennial" - I bridge the gap between Millennials and Gen Z (I understand both, but am not really a part of either). I graduated from HS right when MCA died. Sucks. Really got into the Beastie Boys in 2013. However, by then, MCA was gone and they had broken up.
It was suppose to be "commercial" and "rehearsal" but Mike D messed up and the Adam's wouldn't let him do another take. So they kept the two "commercial" in the mix.
Brad Query Well even though this was edited last year I have to say there are rappers who could easily destroy this better than beastie boys but this is a classic

There will never be music like this again. We live in a different world where the definition of "Music " is not what we once knew. This needs to be cherish and shared for the world to hear.
This was only one of five songs I knew from them, but I heard this song at least 100 times. I feel really bad because two days ago, two days after he died, I heard this song and skipped it because I heard it so many times. I can't believe I didn't know he died until yesterday. I wished I never knew he died. Wow I hope they're all doing all right.

I've always preferd Mike's
I agree, but the beauty of the Boys IS that their style are individually so unique but they still blended perfectly.
I had seen them multiple times in the 1990s.
