“if ur in a third world country, just get out of the country” that was such a tone deaf statement
It just shows how privileged he truly is to even have that kind of mindset…
and it’s just not even the third world countries you can’t leave. it’s literally every country outside of europe and the us
these people just think the U.S is the only place in the world

Let them eat cake
“ if your in a third world country then just get out of the country”

I swear they are so disgustingly privileged that they can’t even comprehend the stupidity and ignorance of their words
Kinda like "First million is the hardest to make...so start with the second one"
Yeah, I’d love to see Aaron try to get through the American immigration system if he came from a county like India or China (where many people try to immigrate to the US).
@@marygreen1495 India and China are quite easy to leave, as US has a huge exposure to these countries. Try leaving behind Somalia or Central African Republic though, wish you luck.
I feel like Aaron is one of those people who thinks that if anyone dislikes him it’s because of jealousy, or the fact that he is “different” from people his age when in reality, people may not like him because of his lack of empathy and perspective on those who are different than him.
He’s a nerd who was once bullied, that got lots of money at a young age, of course he’s jaded, and will never find true love if he keeps his current attitude towards life up. He’ll only attract birds 🦅 and gold diggers as karma I feel.
Yeah he keeps trying to claim he is different and mature. He thinks he is different from people who are probably very similar to him. He has a superiority complex
I really see nothing wrong with him 💀 you people are so soft .

Really loved listening to Mai, Kelly, and Yousouf speak. They’re super thoughtful and I appreciate how Yousouf is hold his own views and isn’t afraid to alter them after gaining a deeper understanding of something. That’s a wonderful way to approach life cause our beliefs aren’t alway true.
I've searched the comments to find and see if anyones else appreciated Yousouf ability to shift and defend his new views. I can see why he is where he is and it's dope you caught that as well!

I'm glad someone else caught that. When he realized he was wrong, he immediately course-corrected. He would end up atleast middle class anywhere, even if luck didn't set him up
Exactly! He was really open minded & open to learning
Youssouf doing that is indicative of his age. Older adults tend to get stuck in their beliefs that they spent years building their identities around. In the face of opposition, they would rather stick a wrong position to ‘save face’ than admit a fault in their belief system and change their outlook. Younger people are far more open-minded to different viewpoints as they’re still developing.
Self made millionaire at 6… girl your parents did that for you. Sure now you created a business of your fame. Your starting point was so much higher than anyone else’s.
She's a blonde Kardashian.
Yeah, we're playing fast and loose with the word 'self-made' here. Like girl, you could barely wipe yourself at that age, let alone make millions.
She is a white blue eyed blonde from California who was born into wealth and luxury. Shes never seen a day of true real life struggle.

It would be interesting to see a version of this where half of the people are millionaires and half are average people. And ask them similar questions. And see how that much money changes you as a person even if you don't see it yourself.

@@Criner05if you don’t know the meaning of narcissistic, please don’t just use it😭

Loved how Mai and Kelly's thoughts and arguments. Also Yousouf being open to not only hold a proper discussion but also change his views once he was able to understand better was admirable.
They’re more mature than a lot of people in their 30s I know. They’re young and still have a lot to learn, but their ability to recognize their own privilege and adjust their beliefs will take them to far.
Shout out to Kelly for being the voice of reason, much respect to Mai for keeping it so real, I love the way that Youssof was actually listening to everyone's input and changing his perspectives, I have a lot of respect for all these young millionaires, It made me sad to see how many of them were struggling with loneliness something I can relate to, but this video was such a breath of fresh air.
Do people actually believe we can have a society where everyone is a millionaire and everyone who isn’t a millionaire just doesn’t want to be one bad enough ☠️🥴?
It wouldn’t even be a positive if we were to reach that status as a society of a whole because inflation would become more extreme.
They just aren’t willing to work for it and also it’s really hard but with determination anything is possible.
yea. I don’t see it happening as there will always be someone doing better because it’s almost in our nature to be competitive.
Yeah… their ignorance was quite apparent during that question
That's not at all what he said or what it means. Anyone CAN become a millionaire. Doesn't mean everyone WILL become a millionaire.
I wish they asked the question “I am self made”. In lots of these people’s cases, they had the opportunity to already be doing something at a young age (e.g having enough money to start investing at 10, being on a tv show young, your parents finding them acting jobs at a young age, somehow having the recourses to be able to learn to code at 9) which is most likely due to their parents or a privileged environment. All of that already gives them an advantage over the typical person who didn’t have that start which makes it hard to say that “anyone can be a millionaire”
Just something to think about
Agreeeeeeed
Agreed
So so true thank you for saying this
I thought they would have asked that. They portray them as all self made but I would bet they had plenty of help getting started in these endeavors
Like even then the exception would be a youtuber but that doesnt guarntee sucess plus its time day in and out. I would feel guilty dedicating time to that instead of helping my parents betting on becoming a millionair. The key is they started young and had parents money, and the luxry of being young and having time + no bills to pay.
The market's direction can swiftly change, with indexes frequently transitioning from a bear market to a bull market precisely when the news is most negative and investor sentiment reaches its lowest point.
For the average person, the strategies are fairly demanding. In actuality, most professionals who have the necessary abilities and knowledge to complete such occupations do so successfully.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a broker, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

When ‘Carol Vivian Constable’ is trading, there's no nonsense and no excuses. She wins the trade and you win. Take the loss, I promise she'll take one with you.

To the girl who said "There's so much free advertising", you need to understand, no matter what it is, becoming a millionaire, ESPECIALLY nowadays, is extremely hard unless you win the lottery or you go viral for something you profit off of. Not anyone can become a millionaire, just like how Kelly said, I could be following the same exact footsteps as any of you, and theres a very high chance I won't end up as a millionare. Hence why you decided to change spots. It's irritating to hear a millionare say anyone can do it, it is easier said when you're already there.
Of all human history this is the easiest era to get rich. It is a fact
@@mikko3 True... and false simultaneously. The reason is that we are now 8 billion on earth. The total amount of rich people is higher. However, the /percentage/ which is what is important, is actually far less than what it used to be back then. The wealth disparity is only increasing, not decreasing. Now you have people that earn 100000x higher than the average people.
I understand that but again the question was can anybody become a millionaire and yes it just goes back to a lot of hard work and A lo a lot of luck and intelligent actions

@@blakehaynes5842 what
@@nazgulstew Should they think that no POC has a chance? I think they are just being optimistic. Like I am not a millionaire, but it doesn't mean I couldn't have become one just because I am not. Can any of us really say we devoted our whole lives to doing that? Never partied or wasted money? Some people do have more effort put in, that's just the reality of it. Now some people will definitely have a much higher chance of becoming a millionaire, no one doubts that. But there are people from Africa who come play in the NBA so it's possible just not likely. The thing is, less of us should be concerned with becoming a millionaire and should just hope to make enough to live and spend time with our family.

also like his problems are technically smaller than history tests. people go to uni to be able to have a fulfilling and financially supporting job and that's why they have to study. he is already past that. ofc he might have to decide where to invest 100k one day or idk but that's kind of a self-made problem. while people who go to uni have to study so they can pay off their 100k student debt

One trait that I've noticed about this group, that I find very interesting, is their ease in changing positions based on the conversations at hand. at the last prompt, i'm so happy to see maia and kelly standing for their ground. money doesn't come easy for all of us. living out dreams is so much more complicated when you don't have the access to adequate facilities, platforms, or pretty much everything. so the "anyone can be a millionaire" mindset is a privileged thing.

I'm in my late 20s and have realised I don't know what I enjoy at all because having time for me and to explore interests (without worrying its taking away time from making money that's needed) is a luxury I've never had before. I also never had a strong family network with parents who encouraged and supported me in growing my passions, in fact, for me, it was quite the opposite. It multiple millionaires in the 500+ and billionaire. when they on average make more then they can spend in a given day. Along with the gap of other are struggling with 100$ or less and average house make 125-150k that gap from that to multiple millionaires (100 million+) is absurd.
I, on the other hand, DO have an issue with the existence of millionaires
@@kay-kd9vc why?
It’s a little bit more complicated then that. For example when it comes to bank bailouts the purpose is not to bailout the owners but the customers. You cannot let millions of people lose their life savings because of the irresponsible behavior of a CEO

I agree with Mai Pham with the last prompt. I am Vietnamese myself with family still in Vietnam. My one cousin has thought about moving out to Australia via dad or brother being the sponsor but the wait is very long. In Vietnam, it can be quite difficult to get proper opportunities especially if live directly in countryside and the area gets little to wifi no signal.

My family on both sides was brought over here from Vietnam. It took a super long time for everyone, average wait time was 5-8 years for my family. They did it in batches... my uncle started applying in 1986, and by 2001 finally everyone came over.
Kelly’s arguments were amazing. She continually perfectly explained and convinced everyone and she really shows so much more awareness and logic. I also loved Mai’s perspective. This is a great video

"Money has nothing to do with a relationship" not technically, but when you’re struggling it can cause a lot of tension and put a lot of strain on a relationship.
4 of them said anyone can make themselves a millionaire... THEY ARE SO OUT OF TOUCH with the reality of the world.... wow.... I'm not a communist or anything like that, and I do well in life. But too much money, specially at a young age, is like a sickness. People like that live in an alternative reality. It's crazy.
But it’s a factual statement. Anyone CAN be a millionaire, that can’t be argued against.

"I worked hard" so did the millions who're still living in poverty. Fact is those people more than likely work A LOT harder than these millionaires did.

honestly i'm watching this from a third world country that's in a really difficult situation rn (argentina) and i'm actually kinda mad with dome things they said here. doesn't matter how hard my family tries and works and how hard i study we can't even pay a trip to a city near where i live. we can't afford basic things sometimes. it isn't as easy as getting out of the country (it's almost impossible to afford that) or "just go to a library near you". they are talking from such an ignorant and privileged place honestly
Omg same! I'm from the republic of Georgia and I just came back from a 9 hour night shift as a dishwasher,I only have sour cream in my fridge and feed off leftovers at my job. Hearing about them working hard is INSANE. They could at least be humble and grateful for being more fortunate than most
I hope things get better for you and your family 🙏
You are also privileged and talking from privileged place
Same here as a Zimbabwean. I was rejected for a visa to the UK the first time I applied and spent so much money on it, so him saying “get out of the country” was so infuriating to me.
Kelly seemed to be the most humbled. She is well grounded, and has reminders of where she's from. Its not a simply matter of being "lazy" it is those once in a lifetime rare opportunities that each of them have been blessed with, and she articulated herself well. There are TONS of people doing the same things, but the probability is slim. I agreed with her about 90% of the time, and that shows alot for someone who is just a teenager.

I would like to participate in ether the thousandaire or six figure for people in they’re 20’s
I think the question "I would be a different person if I didn't have this money" isn't the best question to ask this group. iirc, all of them became mllionaires by 18, not even finishing their formative years. Isabella became one when she was 6. No wonder she thinks it wouldn't change her, she probably doesn't remember much from when she wasn't a millionaire so how would she even know if she'd be different? I think Mai's take seemed more realistic, money can't bring you happiness, but it sure allows you the resources to get there. And as one with mental health issues, having the privilege to get therapy and meds was a world of difference for me as a person. I don't feel at all like the person I used to be, but many people don't have that opportunity because of how expensive mental health care can be, and if one has to weigh their mental health vs putting food on the table, they're probably gonna choose the food.
I loved the amount they were actually listening to each other and willing to shift their positions after hearing new perspectives.
Unlike most people in these comments 😂
I’m so thankful for Mai and Kelly. When you explain this to people especially ones that are ignorant they claim it as “victim mentality” when in reality it’s just the truth. If you’re white you have a easIER way to make money COMPARED to people of color.

100% agree w/ kelly and mai on the last prompt. i have no doubt they all worked hard to be where they are today but there are so many outside factors like networking, having the access to resources, and sometimes just pure luck, that definitely helped them all along the way.
its not pure luck u have to do something to get those networks and recourses
@@Wifimoneyjyeah, also choosing to actively network increases your luck.
i can guarantee you its not pure luck. its 95% calculated and skill.
I agree that not everyone can become a millionaire. It is possible to do anything with a strong worth ethic but for certain people it's 100x harder due to the circumstances pushing them back. In some countries in Africa, if you start gaining wealth, you and your family must move out of the neighborhood you grew up in as soon as possible because you'll get targeted. The most recent trend over the past 3 years has been to kidnap family, friends and employees for high ransom, and they do it to some people over and over again, sometimes every few days - this happens to my sisters fiancé all the time. It can truly feel impossible.
I can't imagine being a millionaire, as awesome as it would be, but to start doing business-related things when you're still in elementary school? That's crazy to me. I was still playing with Barbie's up until middle school, so I can't even imagine having a strong business mindset to earn money at that age. I applaud them, but it's hard to think about.
Also, if anyone watched Big Brother 24 last year, my first thought was that Jay looks a LOT like a young Joseph Abdin (mostly just his facial features). And then, I kept thinking Isabella, who's 16, and some of other girls, were at least 20 or 21.

Can we have this series for different people worldwide? Would love to hear about other millionaires outside the US
I am from Kenya but I am privileged enough to come from a somewhat wealthy family that has now moved to the US. But that’s not the case for so many kids I have seen in the slums or rural villages that don’t even attend school because they have to take care of siblings or have to work to help support their families. Saying that anyone can be a millionaire is insane considering how underprivileged some children are. Youseff may have time and money to start all those crypto projects and drop shipping but for children and adults drowning in poverty, that’s simply not an option. Even the children that do go to school often times do not pursue higher education due to lack of funds, and don’t start businesses because again lack of funds. Starting a business costs money, money many people don’t have. These rich kids are letting their privilege show by claiming “anyone can be a millionaire”
Did you hear their answer? There is a possibility that some of these children with no education and live in slums still can become a millionaire. No matter what they are in. It's just that its EXTREMELY NEAR to impossible but never impossible.
All I wonder is what's the obsession with the US. Why would you WANT to live in the US willingly? Are people so blinded by the illusion of infinite possiblities..
@@RacingPepe No, your just blind of how living in USA is way more better than living in third world countries.
@@lenny7822How do you suggest children with no access to education or healthcare, living in extreme poverty, who can barely have a meal everyday, or live in bad housing conditions with contaminated water or no water, and no electricity, become millions? This was SOLID! Thank you for putting up the LONG-FORM versions of these SPECTRUMS. It allows for more DEPTH, context and understanding on each participants perspective. It's clear who's the more mature of the bunch, and oldest (Kelly). The younger ones have not had enough life experience to give a more nuanced take on their view points, but that's to be expected, they're younger, and hopefully they walked away with a better understanding of how the world REALLY works outside of their privledged bubble, a bubble I myself enjoy as a successful stock trader in the USA.
I would love to hear that these guys went on that trip and are compatible for friendship. I loved the casting in this video. They all had something to contribute to the conversation and brought perspectives that respectfully challenged each other.
22:29 I don't understand this. You don't need to pay for anything when you are hanging out with your friends. Hanging out with your friends is free. And if you want to do something, you choose an activity that everyone can afford. Your real friends won't expect you to pay. It only becomes a problem if you want to do expensive stuff that your friends can't afford. But that shouldn't be an issue if you are spending time with your friends for their company, not the event that you are undertaking. And if you would REALLY like to share an experience with your friends, then yes by all means pay for it. But then realise you are paying because YOU want to do this specific thing with these specific people, so you are doing it for yourself, not for them.
Let's just ignore everything you said and focus on this one bit : real friends.
You don't get to have real friends. Your bank account makes friends. Not you, the teenage millionaire. If they had real friends none of them would have any doubts about this question. Besides, they're way too young to understand what real friends are.

This video actually helped me realise, that even with my current financial situation not being ideal, is not to get so wrapped up in making money, and keep in touch with my community, friends and family. loosing touch with reality is a scary thing and we should all be more cautious about it. it's not exclusive to rich people
I’m surprised by Jay’s response - though he did admit that he’s been quite privileged and we can all clearly tell that now due to his response. I hope they all realize that the question isn’t really about “can” anyone be a millionaire but more about acknowledging that there’s real struggle in the world that actually makes it impossible for them to achieve that status. Just because they made it, it does not mean anyone else can do it… it’s self centered thinking not to acknowledge how hard people have had to work just to make it through their daily lives. In many ways, their viewpoint on insisting that anyone can do it… is cruel in a way because it makes it seem like they could have achieved millionaire status so that if they did not become a millionaire then they are “less” deserved… yes, I’m very wary of overly optimistic viewpoints because it can be just as toxic as being too pessimistic.
Isn’t being a millionaire in California like upper middle class??
i grew up in orange county, california, which is a very wealthy county, and having friends who have millionaire parents was pretty common (for me atleast! not speaking for everyone)
depends on where you live within california. being a millionaire in silicon valley isn't the same as being a millionaire in merced, stockton, etc. in my experience having lived/met so many ppl in so many parts of california, it is not filled with rich people, it's a misconception. it's very difficult for most ppl to live here.
Yes but the cost of living is super high so those people pretty much live like they're upper middle class.
california is huge and it's really awkward to make generalizations about a state that has so many different counties and cities. i live in southern california and my family isn't just coasting by life, throwing dollar bills in the air as they please. my grandmother lives in a tiny house by landcaster with my grandfather, uncle, cousin, aunt, and great aunt. i mean sure, there are millionaires, but they're certainly not as common as you might think.
It may be upper middle class but in relation to all the homeless people in California, quite a minority
Mai is such a VERY well spoken person
Mai I love you girl 💗 thank you for not being tone deaf, seeing your growth is amazing!
The issue with the last prompt is that the people who agreed with it are taking the statement WAY too literal.
There are simply some things in the world where even if it's "possible", the likelihood of it NOT happening is 99.9999%.
So to look at the 0.0001% success rate and going "Yeah but it's still possible though" is outrageously ridiculous.

i was born in Panama. moved to NYC with my family at the age of 9. we lived in a shelter for the first two years until my parents were finally able to get out and move into our first apartment. i remember nights going to bed hungry because we couldn't afford food. i remember struggling to learn english despite trying my hardest. i remember crying myself to sleep because i qualified to dance at nationals but couldn't afford to go. even recently i had to forfeit from going to my dream university & opt for community college instead because i couldn’t afford the tuition. when you're on survival mode, your priority isn't becoming a millionaire. it's making sure you have enough to have your basic needs met. something my therapist told me that has always replayed in my mind is that when you’re poor your problems stem from money, but when you're rich your problems are all about status and how others see you. two complete different worlds. therefore, being able to say that anyone can become a millionaire is a very privileged way of thinking. like me, i am sure that there are many kids out there that want to be able to do and experience things but can't because of money. it took me 7 years from when i first stepped foot in this country to finally have the resources & be comfortable enough to start making money online. it hasn't been easy. it still isn't. seeing how so many people like myself have to work twice as hard in order to be in the same room and places that other people were quite literally born into hasn't been easy. building a business isn’t easy. scaling a business isn’t easy. therefore becoming a millionaire is not something that will ever be achievable to everyone and it is definitely far from easy.
Oh thank you for saying this! This resonates with my experience a lot. Should be a top comment.
