This lyric alone has been popping up in the comments, but this leaves me a different impression than what I've been seeing in the comments.
I pretty much listened to CG5 when I was 15 or 16, and right now I'm 21 writing this. This was around the time he made his songs about Bendy and other fandoms he made parody's for at the time. I'm someone that doesn't normally stick to one artist, and sometimes I'm guilty of this phenomenon where I eventually forget about the artist that I listened to all those years ago.
I recently got back into listening to CG5 and then I hear this song. There's a feeling of guilt that tugs on my heart whenever I listen to this one specific line and then I realize; this song is like a vent. It's like this is his song to tell that his fanbase is slowly dying out of what he originally had and is slowly being replaced by a completely different fanbase, but will never be the ones that will replace the supporters that started his career here on RUclips with music. I just want to say thank you for all you do, CG5. Your music has been amazing on here along with so many other artists I listen to on here. Keep being awesome, because I won't make the same mistake I did and forget about you all those years ago.

From someone who has depression and anxiety and other mental health issues that have affected my life in a lot of ways, this song means something. The message of "sometimes I just need to freak out, and not suppress my emotions" is something that I really need to embrace, but not just me, everyone with mental health.z

Gosh this hits home, I listen to music constantly because I just can’t be alone with my thoughts anymore.
As someone who was diagnosed with adhd at a young age, this song hits me hard. Like the line that says that you won’t understand me is so true I always try to explain how I work to my parents but they never know! Thank you for this song! Definitely going to be listening to it a lot and thank you for having a voice for others! Awesome work again my dude!

The way I explain autism is I am running Linux (you can use mac) while everyone else is running Windows. I can emulate Windows programs but I will never run the programs perfectly.

This is instantly my favorite one of Charlie's songs hands down. The message Charlie conveyed instantly spoke to me and resonated with my whole being.
It sucks that your personal, original work doesn't get the same hype as the game/meme songs but I hope it never deters you from keep doing this type of music.

Never knew I needed the song until I heard the teaser, and I looped it so much after it dropped on Spotify.
Definitely going on my list of songs for when I need to let my emotions out, and you did an incredible job on it.
About 2 days after you released this I had a really bad day, so during my first break at work I put this song on repeat and just cried. It made me feel so much better to let all that emotion out. Thank you for everything you do man!

As someone who's going through a mental health problem at the moment, this song seriously resonates with me on a level most other songs don't.
The entire idea of wanting to be able to freak out so I can understand my own thoughts is something I seriously need right now but can't get. The point mentioning every expectation binding me also struck me deep as I'm constantly having to live up to an expectation people expect me to be fulfilling even when I'm at a low point. But, really, the part that really struck me the deepest out of all of them was the part that's mentioning I'm the one telling myself I've lost it. Even after telling everyone my true emotions and them (hopefully) understanding them, I still feel as if I'm not in the right and it's really, really tough.
This song describes me with such immaculate detail and I'm glad I found a song that I can relate to as opposed to being forced to listen to happy, non-realistic songs 24/7. I'm also glad I'm not the only one who is struggling. It makes me feel so much better about myself.

When I first listened to this song, it was very fun and sounded pretty energetic. Then after a few listens I learned the lyrics, and it's quite sad. The way you made the basic tune and beat to the song is interesting. Because it sounds happy and energetic. I may be wrong, but maybe that's the point? Maybe he's trying to cover up all his fear and sadness but in reality the lyrics mean what he really feels.

I can very much understand the message of this song. I've got ADHD myself as well as autism, and it's always a big struggle living inside my own head. I do have a supportive family who does their best to understand - one of my own siblings actively tries to figure out my behaviors and reasonings and explain them to me during conversations - but it's very hard for me to understand how my own brain works, let alone try to explain it to other people. It's very easy to get extremely tense and randomly lash out verbally in frustration and self-loathing, but today your song helped me vent in one of the ways I usually do - just listening to music, full blast in my headphones, dancing and singing my heart out.
So from someone who has always loved your songs, especially the original ones... thank you, Charlie. For the music, if nothing else. I'll always pay a visit when I need a moment to freak out.

I relate to this song so much. Coming from someone who suffers from stress and anxiety. I can tell you were really in your feels when writing this. Everytime I deal with something in life that I get anxious, stressed, or worried about I always come up just listen to this song. It's like it has such a strong message that you just need to "Freak Out" sometimes. I hope you are also doing well with your mental challenges. Because it can be really tough to do so.
