We have a fire exit blocked with a mirror to deter thiefs from using it to escape.
My local gas station has an emergency exit blocked by a shelf to sell overly priced soda in 12 & 24 cases making it basically impossible to move anyway

My uncle took me to an indoor go-kart racing competition his side of the family does and needed 1 more person to fill out the teams, the go-kart I was assigned 3/4 races I participated in there was Absolutely Horrid. After I got comfortable in the first race realizing it "might" hold, I really let it out for the rest of the races. Anyway this race course has 2 speed bumps and while I was racing this kart was literally making nervous ticks about every full wheel rotation, and when I would go over the 2 speed bumps. The entire kart literally flexed under me and bottomed out as if it had suspension 💀 I kept checking different welds along the entirety of the bottom of this kart just expecting them to pop and get me killed. After we finished I asked my uncle if his kart flexed at all and he was like "nope, nerves got to ya buddy? It's not a big deal, maybe you just imagined it", he is probably like almost double my weight 🥲. Then he told me like 2 weeks after we went, that they had an accident between two karts. One of the karts basically disintegrated in the crash while the other one only popped off the front rubber bumper, and both guys were fine

The elevators reminds me of something my mom use to do. She would rapidly push the open door on the elevator so it would open a little sooner when it got to your floor. However her brilliance lead to the door opening while we were still moving. And now that elevator will forever open a good 10seconds before it stops on your floor.
