The "logic" of these Muslims is just baffling, I get confounded every time I hear them 🤦🏿♂️

Not surprising. Stone-kissers confound themselves with the web of lies they tell.
@@Odo-so8pj Wrong interpretation.
Allah SWT does not need to have a son at all. If He wanted a son, He does not need a girl's womb to create one.
When He wills something, the process of creation begins.
It is effortless for Him. He does not need to rest on the 7th day, nor does He regret creating something, for He knows what the future holds.

The Muslim brother immediately contradicts himself: "I cannot say Allah is a father because I cannot figure HIM as a man or a woman."
The muslim hit the nail on the head. Christianity is NOT a religion, it’s a relationship with our God and Savior
I’m not sure why Christians make it such a BIG ISSUE when God is not referred to as "Father."

I have noticed the same. All they are doing with this practice is admitting that the Qur'an contradicts itself. You'd expect them to want to hide this.
>>>>It's crazy to me, that when we point to an inconvenient Quran verse, they'll point to another verse that says the opposite, to refute it?
================================
It happens to Christians actually. Not Muslims.
What I like most about this conversation is the Muslim Brother saw the light that Jesus prayed to the Father. Muslims care so much that Jesus prostrated like a Muslim. What they fail to understand is Muslims prostate like Jesus. I think another key point they fail to get is that Allah puts a Jewish person (Issa) at a higher level (honors Jesus) than the Prophet. Jesus is coming back. Mohammed is not. Allah calls Jesus' mother, Mary, the greatest woman, while Mohammed's mother and father are in Hell (according to the Hadiths). The Quran rebukes Mohammed for sinning. There is more, but is certainly sufficient enough for Muslims to take a real look at what the Quran is saying, according to Prophet 81:19 and 69:40, and not Allah.
Add to that the fact that satan was the musician in heaven before being kicked out. Satan must hate the thought of music honouring God he bans his followers from singing.
Excellent comment.

@@letmetalk2240 wrong
@@TR13400 What was the purpose of his baptism?
In Matthew 3:15 , Jesus says:
"Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness."
The purpose of fulfilling righteousness applies to both Jesus and John. Their cooperation in this act reflects their obedience to God.
Jesus’ baptism can be understood as part of his mission , as the servant of God, to fulfill the Law and demonstrate perfect righteousness.
It reflects his commitment to not abolish but fulfill the Law, as stated in Matthew 5:17-18 .
Judaism does not define baptism in the Christian sense. Instead, it has the ritual of mikveh , which involves immersion in water for the purpose of achieving ritual purity.
As a pious Jew who had the same faith as Moses, and he worshipped God in a synagogue, not in church, Jesus' baptism is actually the Jewish ritual of mikveh.
Jesus’ baptism was aligned with the Law of Judaism, and he did not bring a new religion during his lifetime.
His mission was to fulfill the Law and the Prophets within the framework of Judaism.
@letmetalk2240 yea, none of that says Jesus needed baptism for salvation. So I agree with everything you wrote

Hey Avery, Misha here, it was a pleasure talking to you regardless of how it ended.
I do believe i was sincere with you in my responses and thought process.
I did want to correct one thing I said as well as answer appropriately your second question of “How can we trust what was before the Quran if it was corrupted”.
Hopefully my comment isnt delete in the hope of attaining a true discussion with you.
When you first asked me if Prophet Muhammad corrected Jesus for calling God the father, I said yes he did.
That was poorly said on my part.
Muhammad isn't correcting Jesus, but he is correcting the scripture before you.
As you nor anyone knows what exactly Jesus said as he died in 33AD and our earliest papyrus' are from 120AD and after. With a full bible long after Jesus in 325AD.
This is extremely relevant information because our mistake was starting off in the middle of a conversation of “Is Jesus a muslim?” When one first needs to correct the information of “is what religion i am following the correct one?” “How do i find out?”
And that doesn’t come from questioning a stance a religion makes but first verifying the validity of the scripture before us.
If that were the case, then why aren’t you a hindu? Why aren’t you jewish? why aren’t agnostic? As plenty of these beliefs have scripture making claims but how do we know their claim is true.
Thats the first response. I’ll submit my second response under this one
Thanks again, looking forward to engaging with you again in the future

Part 1
To now answer your second question as i couldn’t answer properly due to the impatience on your behalf, rushing me to a point and not giving me the opportunity to answer in full i will instead write the text even though you might never read nor acknowledge it.
Your question was:
If God told Muhammad to refer to the previous scripture (Torah and Injeel) to confirm what is being said to him, then how could the previous scripture be corrupted if muhammad has to use them to confirm what God is revealing. It wouldn’t make sense to use deceitful information to confirm the truth. Before you get all happy and say “THANK YOU!” Now i will write a proper response which i couldn’t get out.
First, this is very important
I repeatedly told you that we cannot take singular verses as they are, we have to take all the verses and make sense of them together. We cannot pick out one individual verse and base our entire argument as if you have a point. Unlike christianity that picks and chooses what verses to support while ignoring others, islam does not do this.
Simple examples are in the Torah, God hates sacrifice, he wants repentance not sacrifice, he hates sacrificing humans and sons, God says sons cant pay for the sins of the father nor vise versa, God says he doesnt share his Glory yet Jesus says he shares it with the father, God says he is one yet there’s a trinity, God says he is not a man nor a son of man and so on. Many christians will take those verses in the old testament and disregard them, to replace them with the Gospel’s version of the new truth.
In islam we do not pick and choose verses from the Quran to support our narrative, we must take everything into account before making a judgement call.
This is very important
First lets bring up the verses you we mentioned here: I will even use them very website/translation you used
10:94-95 Hilali and Khan
94 So if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are in doubt concerning that which We have revealed unto you, [i.e. that your name is written in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], then ask those who are reading the Book [the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before you. Verily, the truth has come to you from your Lord. So be not of those who doubt (it)
95 And be not one of those who belie the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, for then you shall be one of the losers
The other verses we used
5:47
Let the people of the Injeel (Gospel) judge by what Allâh has revealed therein. And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has revealed (then) such (people) are the Fâsiqûn [the rebellious i.e. disobedient (of a lesser degree)] to Allâh
5:48
And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the Book (this Qur’ân) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Muhaymin (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old Scriptures)1. So judge among them by what Allâh has revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging away from the truth that has come to you. To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way. If Allâh had willed, He would have made you one nation, but that (He) may test you in what He has given you; so compete in good deeds. The return of you (all) is to Allâh; then He will inform you about that in which you used to differ
Part 2
And the other verses for context, regarding the corruption of the Bible
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:75)
"Do you (faithful believers) covet that they will believe in your religion in spite of the fact that a party of them (Jewish rabbis) used to hear the Word of Allah [the Taurat (Torah)], then they used to change it knowingly after they understood it?"
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:79)
"Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, 'This is from Allah,' to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for that they earn thereby."
Surah An-Nisa (4:46)
"Among those who are Jews, there are some who displace words from their (right) places and say: 'We hear your word (O Muhammad) and disobey,' and 'Hear and let you (O Muhammad) hear nothing.' And Ra'ina [with a twist of their tongues and as a mockery of the religion Islam]. And if only they had said: 'We hear and obey,' and 'Do make us understand,' it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not except a few
Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:13)
"So because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them and made their hearts grow hard. They change the words from their (right) places and have abandoned a good part of the Message that was sent to them. And you will not cease to discover deceit in them, except a few of them. But forgive them and overlook (their misdeeds). Verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (good-doers)."
Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:41)
"O Messenger (Muhammad)! Let not those who hurry to fall into disbelief grieve you, of such who say: 'We believe' with their mouths but their hearts have no faith. And of the Jews are men who listen much and eagerly to lies - listen to others who have not come to you. They change the words from their (right) places; they say, 'If you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, then beware!' And whomsoever Allah wants to put in Al-Fitnah [error, disbelief, polytheism, and wrongdoing], you can do nothing for him against Allah. Those are the ones whose hearts Allah does not want to purify (from disbelief and hypocrisy); for them there is a disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great torment."
Surah Al-A'raf (7:162)
"But those among them who did wrong changed the word that had been told to them, so We sent upon them a torment from the heaven because they used to do wrong
Surah Al-Imran (3:78)
"And verily, among them is a party who distort the Book with their tongues (as they read), so that you would think it is from the Book, but it is not from the Book; and they say: 'This is from Allah,' but it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie against Allah while they know it
These verses emphasize different aspects of tahrif (distortion), such as:
1. Deliberate changes in the text (2:75, 2:79, 5:13).
2. Misinterpretation or distortion of meaning (5:41, 4:46, 3:78).
3. Concealing parts of the truth (2:79, 6:91).
4. Actions against divine command (7:162)
So how do we understand your question at hand to explain why would God ask Muhammad to utilize scripture that is corrupted to verify what he is telling him?
God wasn’t telling him a literal instruction, to literally check confirm the revelation, God was assuring him what he was telling prophet Muhammad.
How can you tell this was the case? In the same verse you pointed out AND the following verse, god says:
10:94
“…Verily, the truth has come to you from your Lord. So be not of those who doubt (it)
95 And be not one of those who belie the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, for then you shall be one of the losers”
How can we also tell he was assuring him?
Because of how the verse starts
10:94
So if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are in doubt concerning that which We have revealed unto you
God starts with “IF you are in doubt”. All through out the Quran, when God challenges believers and nonbeliever alike, he poses a rhetorical if at the start of his sentence.
This is a conditional but not necessarily literal. In Arabic rhetoric, such phrasing is often used rhetorically to emphasize a point, not to suggest that doubt exists. For example, Allah often speaks in hypothetical terms to emphasize truths, as in:
* Surah Al-Baqarah (2:23):"And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down to Our servant, then produce a surah like it…" This doesn’t imply that the Qur'an doubts itself but challenges disbelievers rhetorically.
Similarly, 10:94 reassures the Prophet that the Qur'an aligns with previous revelations, leaving no reason for doubt.
The Qur'an consistently emphasizes that Prophet Muhammad did not need to rely on previous scriptures for confirmation, as his revelation was complete and self-sufficient:
* Surah Al-Ankabut (29:48):"You did not recite any scripture before it, nor did you write it with your right hand…"
* Surah An-Nahl (16:89):"...And We have revealed to you the Book as clarification for all things…"
Thus, 10:94 is not instructing the Prophet to actually seek validation but reassuring him that the Qur'an is consistent with prior revelations.
Even the classical commentators talk on this
Ibn Kathir: The verse affirms the Qur'an's truth, and the "asking" is hypothetical for rhetorical emphasis. It’s directed more at disbelievers than the Prophet himself.
Al-Qurtubi: The verse is meant to silence critics who accused the Prophet of fabricating the Qur'an, showing that it aligns with the core truths of earlier scriptures
The Qur'an asserts that the Prophet was already certain of his mission and revelation:
* Surah Al-Baqarah (2:2):"This is the Book about which there is no doubt…"
And as 5:48 eloquently put it
5:48
And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the Book (this Qur’ân) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Muhaymin (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old Scriptures)1. So judge among them by what Allâh has revealed.
Lets break this down since you were rushing to enforce your point.
1. We have sent down to you the book (The quran) in truth
2. Confirming the scripture that came before it
3. And this Quran is Trustworthy in highness and a witness over it (the Gospel/Torah)
4. So judge among them (the christians and jews) by what God has revealed (the Quran)
God revealed the Quran, The Quran is a protector, a guardian over old scriptures, and we are to use it to judge among them (The Jews and Christians) by what Allah has revealed. What did Allah reveal? The Quran.
You can argue that he also revealed the Injeel and Torah but he also revealed the Quran.
God also makes it clear that the older scriptures were corrupted
Thus we cannot rely on those texts to confirm the truth.
Thus it is the Quran which we must used to judge among the christians and jews regarding their text.
The interpretation that 10:94 is reassurance and not a literal instruction comes from analyzing:
* The rhetorical style of the Qur'an.
* The context of the surrounding verses.
* The broader Qur'anic principles about revelation.
* Classical scholarly commentary.
Thus, the verse reassures the Prophet of the Qur'an’s truth and its alignment with prior revelations, addressing disbelievers indirectly by emphasizing the consistency of divine messages.
Your question was a very good question based on sound reasoning because at first glance, yes, youre absolutely right in thinking the way you were doing. How could I use something that is said to be corrupted to also verify what you are saying God? Help me understand?
As you can imagine, not only did i not have the sources in front of me to adequately respond in real time with you but i needed to gather the verses to help answer the question.
I should have conceded and instead told you that i would reply in your thread like i have here so that i can have a free space to respond without the pressure and impatience of you repeatedly asking “is allah the father!?” Haha
Either way, all the best

Jesus: By myself I can do nothing.
Christians: Jesus is Lord.
The Hebrew Bible does not explicitly mention calling God "Abba."
This term is primarily associated with Christian usage, particularly in the New Testament, where Jesus is recorded as addressing God as "Abba, Father."
Did Jesus teach Christianity or was he embracing the same religion as Moses?
As a pious Jew, he embraced the same faith as Moses.
In this context, he sought the guidance of his Abba who is his Lord and his God.
This Abba is known to him as, ELAH (ARAMAIC) OR ALLAH (ARABIC). Not Yahweh or Jehovah.
I’m not sure why Christians make it such a BIG ISSUE when God is not referred to as "Father."
Abraham never called his Lord "Father." Did God make it into a BIG ISSUE? No.

To Christians, God must be a Father. Their "sky Daddy" can’t be seen as a mother.
This reflects an issue with viewing women as inferior.
Jesus is claimed to be God, but he is portrayed as a man, not a woman.
God cannot be a woman who suffers the pain of childbirth due to the curse placed by God Himself.
God cannot be a woman who menstruates and thus become 'impure'.
There's a lot of misinformation here
God is called "Father" at least twice in the Hebrew Tanakh (Isaiah 63:16-17; 64:8-9). Moreover, God PRESENTS Himself as a Father (e.g. Hosea 11:1). Please don't try to teach us the Bible when you don't know it.
We DO have imagery of God as "Mother" in the Bible (Matthew 23:37). The truth is that God is neither male nor female, and thus can present Himself in any way that will make sense to the people whom He is addressing. Ancient Hebrews were patriarchal, so the Father image would make the most sense to them. This behavior on God's part is known as "Accommodation Theology".
@
The title "Father" can symbolizes authority, care, and provision and also carries relational and covenantal significance,
not just functional roles like creating or giving laws.
God is like a father to us in the sense that He cares for us, but the Quran term for that is “rabb”.
Given that context, Jesus said not to call anyone on earth by the title “Rabbi,” “Father,” or “Teacher,”
in the sense of arrogating to oneself an authority which rests with God.
@@mysotiras21 >>>>We DO have imagery of God as "Mother" in the Bible (Matthew 23:37).
======================================================================
The imagery of a hen protecting her chicks in Matthew 23:37 is a metaphor for God's care and protection,
but it does not equate to the Christian understanding of God as "Father."
The use of "hen" instead of "mother" highlights nurturing and protective qualities without directly associating God with motherhood.
@@letmetalk2240 , tsk tsk. You are splitting hairs, peanut. This is an image of God caring for us LIKE A MOTHER. Roosters don't car for chicks; only hens do that.
Allah is not human He is not a father..if you say Allah is limited because he can’t be a father…one can say to the christians that their God is limited , he doesn’t have a daughter, wife or a mother, be a grandfather or an uncle ..there would be no end to the absurdity
Unfortunately YOUR god placed that limitation upon himself by saying he cannot be a father. The moment you say your god CANNOT, then he is limited to what YOU dictate for him. You cannot do what-about-ism, defend your god without pointing to another god. Why must you always need to use Christianity as a crutch to defend your Islam???
FYI...Allah has a JADD, grandfather
72:3 Waannahu taAAala jaddu rabbina ma ittakhatha sahibatan wala waladan
3 `And He, exalted be the Jadd of our Lord, has taken neither a wife nor a son.'
Wrong. God the father can have sons and daughters. There is no limit to TMH in the bible.
@TedEast-i1b Now you're getting it! YHWH can do what he wants, he is not limited. If you say your god CAN'T, then you are making him limited.
We can call our God Father in heaven, allah says whoever calls him Father is out of islam. So the easy conclusion = allah is NOT the God of the Bible.
