Well, you were right. I did find the review interesting. My guess is that there might have been a bit of a language barrier in your communication with Shido. When you said that you would be reviewing this for VO, maybe it was misunderstood? I mean, I could see this working for someone like a street performer or someone selling in a Costco maybe. It just really seems like this was built for a different purpose.

The item states that it's a VOICE AMPLIFIER. I understand that it's not to your liking as a voice over machine but you really didn't give it a fair review as a voice amplifier. You basically just said it would suffice for amplification but you gave a much more scathing review on how it was not good for voice over work. In my opinion, it was a lopsided review because you kinda' blew off what it said it was on the box, a VOICE AMPLIFIER. I hope you keep this in mind in doing other future reviews.
Honestly I try not to recommended any one person for these things, even myself. All I can say is do your due diligence and make sure they are skilled in the area you want to learn
I think I would’ve appreciated a mythbusters type approach or a cooking show approach, because when they try something out and they know it doesn’t work they put in a little extra effort to see what it would take to make this work out, wether it’s C4 explosives, or starting a new recipe from scratch, they would see what it would take to make it work anyway, maybe it would’ve taken an exorbitant amount of effort, but it would’ve been interesting to see what exactly you could pull off with this equipment, or at the very least, the attempt would’ve been gratifying. 😂 Kind of like a personal challenge. Idk, just a thought I wanted to share.
I think you over estimate by budget…. And video ability …. And access to C4 haha. But noted I could make an additional video of me riding a bus or giving a talk in a museum “AND WE’RE WALKING” 🚶
@@CrownStagVoiceover lollllll I’d love that 😂 I like tinkering with electronics a bit, and I’d take it apart and do some research on how a mic actually works, and I’d see if I could make it better, or create my own, attempting higher quality, I’d probably fail, but it would be good fun. Budget is a BIG roadblock for that kind of thing, I Fully understand.
Hmm... Using it as my daily speaker at my household and been using it for some time now... It's not the best, but it works and do the job. I have it connected to a solar panel at the moment. I have not used it much for Voice Amplifier but... Well... It's actually playing at the moment and I think does a pretty good job overall. I don't know of any other solution that can charged with USB, have decent battery and do what it does. Although as always there is room for improvement, but it seems that is standard that companies make nonsense sadly.

I'm a teacher who was issued one of these by my school. Can't even get it to turn on, and that is after a full charge.

for what it is, i have heard worse but - im not a megaphone user lol I can only say if it would work for VO. and thats a big NO.
