Fun fact, you don't have to have the vocal stuff on a vocal signal path - you can apply all of them to the guitar as well, or go the other way around (applying guitar FX to your vocal chain). Not sure what the applications of that would be outside of turning on the AutoTune for Joe Satriani's "Wind in the Trees", but there you go.
Ha! Nobody demos quite like Lee and Pete : ) That's a nice unit. Don't know that I'm ready to give up my normal pedalboard, but very nice. Time for a deep dive on the Tonex Lee!

I have a pod go and it's controls are a bit complicated and I find it a bit overwhelming. I kind of just want to sell it and make a simple pedal board. I like how that has a touch screen for sure
I've got the Headrush Looper... I also use a Line 6 Pod Go on my guitar, and a Play Acoustic from TC for vox. If this pedal had multiple looper channels like the dedicated looper board, I could pair down my rig from the 3 big pedals to 1. This would be the ultimate rig for a solo acoustic act. Wonder if that's something they could introduce in a firmware update.

Very cool product…in spite of yourselves…lol. Seriously, I owned the very first Headrush pedalboard and this seems light years advanced over that unit. Expensive? Well look at what it does. I’d take this rig loaded with clones of my studio back line, an SM58, several of my guitars, load them in the backseat of my Lariat and head off to a cool out of the way place and record,! A songwriter’s tool, a guitarist’s candy land, a vocal studio or: all the above! How cool is that? 🎉😊🎉 ‘Great video and excellent teamwork/killer guitar work! 🛫🎉 🎸🌴🏄🏻♀️🍍🍋🍤🛬
What would be useful for pre-existing HeadRush owners looking to upgrade (and new users who are keeping a side-eye on the second hand market), is if we had more of a direct comparison between the previous generation Pedalboard and this - besides the obvious, were any effects or amps added? Does it sound any different if you load the same patches in? Etc, etc.
As a pedalboard user i can tell you its allright. But if you have the capability go for the prime. It has so many usefull features that the pedalboard just cannot give. For me the cloning alone would be argument enough to not go for the old version. But i guess it depends on what you need from the unit. If you just wanna play around for a reasonable price get the old one.
I've asked this question of many Prime owners and they seem to think it sounds better, they are very complimentary. It sounds like the Revalver rigs and IRs are really good, which I am interested in. With the Antares (my singing needs all the help it can get), highly thought of Revalver content, and amp clone, I think it's worth it. I will probably upgrade myself....
This seems like a very good board, and it seems that it can do a lot and is very versatile. There is only one big problem! Whenever a new pedal board comes out no matter who makes it all the of these people that make the demos for these boards seem to think that the only kind of guitars that are played are electric guitars. 30 to 40 percent of us play ACOUSTIC GUITAR. WHY DOESN"T ANYONE DEMO THESE BOARDS WITH AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR. This always infuriates me! It's given that these boards are going to do a lot for electric guitars but none of these demos ever add a showcase as to how to dial in an acoustic guitar. We are always left out. The amps and IR's that are demoed are always for electric guitars. Why can't you include acoustic guitars patches in your demos. It was the same way when the HELIX came out. The Helix works with Acoustic guitars very well, but no one showcased how to dial in an acoustic rig until it was on the shelf for months. You can't just spend 3 or 4 hours in a music store to check how a board is going to work with your acoustic for a few reasons. One you would have to completely know how to run the board before you went in to try it out. Another reason is that most music stores are not going to let you set there and try it out for hours and then not buy it. I study a product inside and out before I buy it, always, but a good acoustic demo done at the same time as an electric demo would be an advantage and catch a much larger customer base. When it's getting harder and harder every day to sell products that only appeal to a specific kind of person (aka guitar players) and not the general population why would you not give yourself the sharpest edge to make a sale. Come guys let's get on the stick. Stop leaving us acoustic guitar players out in left field all the time with only electric guitar demos.
Damn it’s massive ! Would take up all the floor space of most pubs I’ve played in , it’s like all multi fx though , it’s how you use it and if it suits your set , sound is subjective etc , but nice screen and I would bet it’s great to record with.
@@mrredritehand , well Mr Hand , I’ve stopped using boards and set up pedals on-top of my amp ( Velcro etc ) and use guitar volume and pick up selection to vary tone / volume . I might have one pedal on the floor for solos ( Mooer Funky Monkey ) but generally I’m done with tap dancing on pedals and having nowhere to dance and jump around ( no one should stand still while playing 🤣 ) without tripping over wires , leads and floor boards 😃👍
Even the Gigboard is heavy for it's size, but at least you know when you stomp on it, it's built to take it! This looks like a fantastic evolution of the Pedalboard, does everything most players could need.

The editing on this video is PRIME. Thank you😂🔥
Video editing is also done on headrush prime during the shooting. 😉
That end was just epic
That loop is a masterpiece
Damn it’s massive ! Would take up all the floor space of most pubs I’ve played in , it’s like all multi fx though , it’s how you use it and if it suits your set , sound is subjective etc , but nice screen and I would bet it’s great to record with.
Well...how bigs your pedalboard?
I don’t think it’s that big considering it’s covering Vocal FX and Guitar FX.
It is great
@@mrredritehand , well Mr Hand , I’ve stopped using boards and set up pedals on-top of my amp ( Velcro etc ) and use guitar volume and pick up selection to vary tone / volume . I might have one pedal on the floor for solos ( Mooer Funky Monkey ) but generally I’m done with tap dancing on pedals and having nowhere to dance and jump around ( no one should stand still while playing 🤣 ) without tripping over wires , leads and floor boards 😃👍
Awesome video boys!!!!!!
its just one more effect unit in the town ! booooring!
This is big.
I made it to the end. Very cool piece of kit fer shure
Wow. Yes, Pete. I made it that far. You guys have the best job in the world.
Even the Gigboard is heavy for it's size, but at least you know when you stomp on it, it's built to take it! This looks like a fantastic evolution of the Pedalboard, does everything most players could need.
You should have started with the mic in. The exit loop is the greatest thing ever! LOL
