English is not a enough criteria to judge a person abilities.
I'm not just talking about Chiranjeevi gaaru, they are many people who are exceptionally well in their fields but not able to speak English fluently.
Many people believes English is the only criteria to judge someone.
I also agree that English is necessary to communicate with others especially in now a days but not compulsory. It's just a language like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi etc.

Satya Ranki Reddy Friend, though he came from a village he earned the role of Megastar which is very much appreciated. After going to that stature its important to learn fluent english to improve the communication skills. This is not to downgrade other languages. If you look at Tamil and Hindi heroes they speak well. Our telugu Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna suck at English. Venkatesh and Nagarjuna and others are okay though.

Ok. Sorry from my side also if somebody really made you hurt. Its wrong either side. But as per my knowledge and experience, that might be done by some Tamil guy most probably, who sincerely hate Hindi domination. That too as a retort to Hindi people who make fun of Tamils, of course.
But what we hate most here about Hindi people is.. they behave like they ever don't know even the names of the southern languages. They mix up all the four great cultured languages into a tight small word called "regional language". And many times they make Telugu people responsible for what Tamils did. Or vice versa. Like you did now, of course. This behavior itself shows how careless North people are about South. All were "Madrasi"s for them, for many decades. Only after NTR's rule they started recognizing there is a language named Telugu is existing which was never cared by North people, though it being one of the oldest and great languages in their own country and in present also it is being spoken by crores of people.
Even take a DTH like TataSky, those rogues give top priority to Hindi even in south and provide crap channels in Hindi too, while intentionally remove some great channels in Telugu just because they intentionally mix all four great languages into a small "regional" bucket. Do you know, language wise Telugu has the highest number of News Channels in India. But we are being seen as secondary by these Hindi guys. No astonishment if somebody in a Chennai street makes fun of a Hindi guy walking on the road. I am not supporting it. But analyzing only a few small reasons behind it.

What matters is sincerity and commitment and not proficiency in a language. All the pompous North Indian MPs keep talking n talking and do nothing on the ground. As a result UP and Bihar remain poorer than sub-Saharan Africa and a huge burden on the country's finances.
