Was nice to see a giga with good sportsmanship, them accidentally going into the water and then righting it + giving you the chance to get back behind them to be fair. That's a rarity among apex players unfortunately
a while back I was an allo starting to fight a carno. he kept getting stuck on trees so I would wait for him to get unstuck so it would be a fair fight. I never found out who that carno was but it was next to lighthouse.

I still think that the bleed out parts that are "boring" are still important for newer players. It gives people information on how to mind game, what distance to maintain and how to manage their own bleed/damage. I understand why you want to remove it, but it was never useless for some of us.
Sooo, I don't really play sucho but I'm glad you're bringing more awareness to the strongest mid tier in the game. Maybe now more people will respect these dinos and the ones that play them and stop calling them chimkins for sitting in the water!
Ducks* technically hehe but yesss, Sucho has a massive advantage over other midtiers, through the water usage. Other than that, I still think Giga is the strongest mid-tier....but there are a few that are nearly equal, to the point where difference is negligible and open to interpretation - Sucho, SubRex, Alberto, all of them could be considered best
@@StickyUtah SubGiga? I feel like it’s kind of an apex fodder so it can’t really survive that well. Allo is underrated imo as a mid-tier. High stamina, good speed, good bleed, fast long ambush, and with the right strat, can win against any other mid tier.

@@jeddelse9036 When did i say sub giga is an apex? Bc sticky said giga is strongest mid tier and I was pretty sure he meant sub-giga lol. Also Allo, if played right, is definitely a strong mid tier. It’s heal isn’t “overrated” if it’s one of the best in the game. It has the second best heal, best bleed heal, and high bleed resist.

I didnt want to because I'm honestly not the richest of folks out there, but I really want to help support you and pray you keep doing videos. They really help me out when I have nothing else to do and give me something to look forward too. I enjoy the sucho plays alot! I was on last night as a sucho and me and my friend was getting a body when a pack of suchos decided to end that for us lol.... they killed us. But we injured alot of them before going down. The 2nd hunt, Giga, I feel was just close enough to you. It still had enough of ambush to catch you, and as you said u went in a semi-circle. IMO it didn't lag forward.

Something I've found with speed listed on the wikis, and the own in game stats, is that sometimes they don't line up with actual game play.
For example, without ambush, Para and Allo are the same speed when sprinting.
There have been a few times when I was a 100% Para, and the only other person, or people on the server was an allo or two, also 100%. Yet, they were always able to over take my Para, even from a stand still, no ambush race.
So maybe in game play, giga's ambush speed is faster than Sucho's, despite being listed as the same on the wiki?
i believe giga ambush is listed as slightly faster than sucho ambush, by 0.5km/h or so

39.3 km/h for Sucho, and 39.8 km/h for Giga.
So that explains them at least.
I believe dinos in survival mode have different stats then in other modes like sandbox and whatnot. (At least some dinos)

I would totally try this. Sucho has always been my favorite from legacy. The thing is, I rarely see rexes and gigas solo on HG.
Oh, I see a lot more solo than doubles, tbh. Like, 20-30% doubles, and 70-80% solos
There was 2 subbs on last night and me and my sucho pack mate kept debating on going after them, but then a pack of utahs decided to take on the rex subs for us and ended up killing them both. I honestly wish I had taken on those rex subs when I had the chance but of course, you snooze you lose. Lol

Hello Sticky, I really would like you to see and or comment on this. I really love your content, I play often and the amount of patience you have is just amazing.
It's not a very fast pace game from my POV and you must just sit and observe with patience and dedication, I also love the amount of uploads. Hey sticky, I am getting a pc next month and looking at getting the isle an just wanted to know what your thoughts on the spinos are. Are they good and any tips, keep up the videos man very enjoyable.... SUCHO UPRISING
Not exactly sticky but as someone who loves spino, they are amazing. The only real counter for spinos is the rex but even then it's like a 50/50 fight. (against a good rex) too bad they aren't available to play without buying or being nested in as, but they are the only real carni that can stand up to rex, so I'd say they are pretty good.

Spinos are indeed very strong. Theoretically, a few different Dinos CAN kill them, but you'll rarely find people willing to even try, much less practice and execute it. Dinos like Dilos, Utahs, Carnos, etc, can kill spinos, but don't bother. So realistically, only Rex and Giga fight spinos, and if it's a good rex - the spino has like 5% chance of survival. If it's a Giga, it's more of a skill matchup, could go either way. Some herbies, especially if more than 2, can also pose significant threat to spinos - such as trikes, theris, shants. But overall, it's probably the safest choice of a Carnivore Apex, because mid-tier and low tier Carnivores don't hunt spinos, but do hunt Rexes and Gigas frequently.

For the record, it is more enjoyable to me to watch you outsmart your foes as a shant, trike, or other big creatures when tactics can be key with your slow wind up attacks and speed. If you don't want to, that's cool, but I have been watching for 2 months or so and I haven't seen any dino preference beyond your name sake and the apexes. Like if you agree.

On some servers aquatic dinos such as sucho and bary have water protection meaning nobody is allowed to attack them in water

In the second hit where the Giga tags ya, I think it's cause Giga's bite box goes a tiny bit further than the model itself combined with lag, that might have been the reason it landed two hits on you

Because they don't see it - they're looking forward, or around, and might not notice me behind them, until it's too late. Sometimes they do notice and turn around tho

Usually sucho is weak to apex predators. I believe the previous players that was mentioned didn't know what to do at first because the sucho is not that strong. I think the sucho dies to like 1 or 2 bites from a rex which is a reason of them not knowing what to do if a sucho actually tries hunting an apex predator.

My channel is about PvP/combat aspect of the game. Growing is PvE - lengthy, boring, and almost zero educational value. I do believe I made a video guide explaining different tips and tricks to ensure survival while growing, but other than that....it'd be pointless, and bring no value to the viewers, both in entertainment and in learning anything that would improve their combat skill

Not on the server i play on. 3 bite rule. Unless you are in a pack 3 or more you cant attack an apex anyway
All Gigas have to do is ambush away. Same against Shants riding you. Then you can turn around and kill the Sucho, or trot it down. Unless you let it put too much bleed on you. It also turns really well while trotting. Gigas also have a long reach with their left side hit box. Fellow Gigas should not be losing to yummy Suchos... 😤

I hear what you’re saying but genuinely from everything ive seen people on hunting grounds just aren’t that good. It’s more for casual players and i respect that, but back when it was just legacy if you went on a server like nublar where a large majority of the players 1k plus hours, are in a clan that practices riding and breaking hitboxes, or know the diff speeds and have healing and damage memorized then you’d be getting domed. I’m not shitting on sticky and he’s a good player, just not THAT good. I don’t see anyone on hunting grounds fake ambush. Sticky never even thinks about it. People on hg don’t double bite either. Sticky my man the people who were saying oh that giga’s inexperienced are right. Those gigas are inexperienced, or just casual players. Also it kinda hurts my soul hearing you say oh he’s a good trike he’s a good etc etc. When most of the time they aren’t good at all lol. Ex: the trike fight a couple days ago. Ex: the cama fight.
as you said, it is a normal server for normal players. So based on that, Sticky does compliment the skills of his opponents correctly.
If someone did something right, he says it right away. He doesn't have to say how someone could win judging by what they did not do.
I'm not sure what you're referring to as Hunting Grounds is for casual players - Hunting Grounds is by default a server that a lot of pros join and play on in an attempt to fight me and prove themselves, and in the meantime fight each other and others. That's not me tooting my horn, that's a simple fact.
If you think left riding and headbobbing is the sole testament of skill...I'm sorry, I have to disagree with you there. There's much more to combat, and different strategies and mechanics, used in different matchups, than just left riding and headbobbing. Most left riders can't even land a jump-bite on the tail whenever they fight an allo or a carno, which is even more true when they fight more than a single allo.
If you haven't seen anyone fake ambush on HG, then perhaps you aren't looking enough. I don't need to fake ambush because there are other ways, mechanics/strategy ways, to win fights, rather than just trick your opponent (although I do recognize that tricking opponents sometimes is a viable, and indeed desirable ,way to get things done)
People on HG don't double bite? Then you're REALLY not looking. We have rexes that can kill pairs of spoons, being a solo rex. That can ONLY be done via double biting either all, or nearly all run-throughs.
People have been claiming that things I fight are "inexperienced/bad" ever since I started making videos, starting off with me showcasing how a Utah can solo a rex/giga. Back then nearly everyone was screeching that it's fake, rex is bad, rex is just a friend that's throwing the fight, etc. And look at us now - now it's a common knowledge that a Utah can solo a Rex/Giga. Funny how that works. Then throw in my strategy for Allo vs Sucho 1v1 - same thing, everyone screeching that it's impossible. And yet, it is possible, and allos ARE soloing suchos now. I could name more examples, but I won't, cuz hopefully I got the point across - just cuz people say it's bad/impossible/fake, doesn't make it so.
Hurt your soul when I said trike was good (I assume the Utah vs Trike fight)? That trike was bad then? A trike that's constantly counter turning to force me into making adjustment mistakes, a trike that brake check stomps to try to force my head to go into stomp - bad? What more should a trike do? Start flying? Come on, that's just not fair to call that trike bad. It was a good trike, and it did everything in it's power to force me to make a mistake.
The cama, same thing - What more could cama do? He was playing extremely unpredictably, sometimes turning in to trample us, and sometimes away, to tail hit. That alone was making it incredibly difficult to gauge how far in we should go. Then throw in the fact that it wasn't stomping (which would be free bites for us) - most camas attampt to stomp at least a few times. This one didn't make that VERY common mistake.
Lastly, when people make mistakes, I call it out. I don't sugar coat it and pretend they didn't make a mistake. I point it out. As well as my own mistakes. And if you're gonna say that someone has to play perfectly, and if they don't, then they are trash - well, my friend, everyone makes mistakes, regardless how pro they are. Like it or not, that's just a fact, and to discard someone's skill based on the premise that if they're "pro" then they aren't afforded a mistake - that's just unfair, and untrue.
I may not be as "good", in your opinion, but that's ok. It's your opinion, and my job isn't to run around and to prove to everyone I'm the best of the best of the best. My job is to find strategies, mechanics, solutions, and show them to the rest of the Isle community, so everyone can learn from my successes, as well as from my failures. And then they can improve their own skill.

Sticky Utah i didn’t think about all that just gauging what i personally have seen from YOUR videos. When i watch i tend to place myself and people i play with or see play. Generally when i played legacy it was with nublar players and clanmates. Thanks for the replay I wasn’t saying the only way to be skillful is left turn or head bob i was saying that if anyone you’d fought was good at left turning and not “head bobbing” but actually breaking their hitbox it seems to ME that the majority of your fights would have ended. But yeah i respect your playstyle and going against a group of allos as a solo utah and landing jumps bites is indeed quite skillful.

Information about bugs/glitches funnels to me from 2 sources:
1. I'm a combat/mechanics RUclipsr - people contact me all the time trying to teach me different things and ideas
2. I'm a server owner with 15k members - players contact me all the time regarding bugs/glitches/abuses, whenever they think it's unfair or broken (because we have a "no glitch/bug abuse" rule in our server)
Based on that, it should be clear that I probably get more information on different "unknown" things than any player or clan would.
Just because I don't teach people how to abuse bugs and glitches, doesn't mean I'm not informed. I make a choice not to teach wide public to things that break the game and make it not fun to play
Sucho is trash, Allo is better
