You need to check out her live performances. Outstanding and out of this world. She has a performance of "it happened quiet" that is just her and a guitarist in the studio at a radio station, it's haunting. She was only like 7 or something when she wrote this song, she is music.
Aurora Aksnes now 26 from Norway. This was filmed in a forest where she used to spend her time as a kid...and at her parents house overlooking the lake (fjord). She wrote this around age 9 or 11. She started writing melodies at age 6...the words came around age 9. Aurora has been playing concerts with her band and performing worldwide since age 17. She has a huge catalogue of studio songs, live performances, interviews and some documentaries all available on RUclips. She is a singer songwriter, producer, dancer and choreographer. A true artist and wonderful person.
You are officially under Aurora's spell. The live performances are even more magical.

Aurora is beyond special; she has so many unique gifts and honed abilities. Her song writing and singing ability is incredible and as you just experienced - technique wise she has absolutely crazy vocal control.
her songs just make me feel more then any songs ever have, she wrote songs since she was 9 and younger, i wish to see the world thru her eyes
She is currently my favorite artist from the time I discovered her music by a chance. She is very natural (without any formal education) artist from Norway. She started to make music by herself from 6 years old and add English lyrics from 9 years old (for first years even her parents did not know anything about it). She even did not wanted to be a artist. It just happened when someone put without her knowledge her song on internet and even then she said no in first moment but was convinced by mother that she should share her music.
Anyway she has a lot of great music (mostly original but she also made some great covers) and he is also very expressive/emotional artist with very good lyrics about non trivial topics. Her songs are also often open for interpretation and sometimes I would even call it poetic.
I could give many recommendation of her great performances but it is hard to go wrong with any of her music and I see you already got some recommendations :).
Fun facts about the Runaway Music Video:
It was shot late autumn 2014 and winter 2014/2015. She was 18 at this time. She wrote Runaway at the age of 11-12 and finalized it at the age of 14 (for a school project, as she mentioned in an interview).
The parts, where she wears the furry top are shot at the west coast of the Drange peninsula, less than a mile away from her parents house.
The parts in the forest were shot in the same forest where she played as a kid, less than half a mile away from her parents house.
The parts, in which she wears a thin white cardigan and with some trees in the near background and the island of Lysøya in the background, are shot actually in the backyard of her parents house in Drange.

AURORA (Aurora Aksnes) was born on June 15, 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is a singer, songwriter and producer with a style all her own.
AURORA's songs always have a strong message. Often the messages are not very clear either. They can be interpreted so that many people can relate them to themselves. Her movements when singing are extraordinary. This isn't a dance. This is her special way of expression. You can also say that she sings with her whole body. Her excellent music, her brilliant voice and her movements. AURORA's live performances are a total work of art. She is often so into the song that she shakes her body or head uncontrollably (--> Murder song, It happened quiet) and need 2-3 seconds to come back.
She is capable of transporting feelings because she allows a look into her soul. Her fans call themselves warriors and weirdos.
AURORA once said: People tend to believe quite quickly that something is wrong with them if they're not like the people they see in front of them
It's so sad that it doesn't take much for us to really doubt ourselves

I usually prefer her live performances. But in these cases the VEVO video is more impressive. I hope you enjoy AURORA.
Three important bits of information I found from another commenter:
1. -- In a recent interview she said "well, the last song I wrote is meant for my 7th album.” -
AURORA's latest album, the fourth, was released on January 21, 2022. She's already in the planning for the 7th.
2. -- AURORA was a teen when she answered the question "are some of your songs related (on different albums)?" - it will all make sense when I have finished. -
AURORA has a plan and we don't know the destination yet. But it is important to know that everything belongs together.
3. AURORA is holding back one song from every decade of her life to release those songs as the last album after her death.
