It’s so wild they have a competitive structure where the playoff’s structure is heavily decided by games where one team has 0 incentive to win and arguably incentives to lose. Even if KC and FNC didn’t int, even if they felt like they were trying their hardest, psychologically if a game doesn’t matter you’re not going to give it your best, especially compared to an opponent for whom it’s make or break. The option for people to worry about win-trading shouldn’t really even be there imo.

@e@enochzhen7133ell for one Vitality was one of the top performing teams so idk where this idea they were a shit team that LR was favored to win comes from? plus the win significantly changed their seeding which wouldve mattered a lot to them in playoffs. You can’t really say the same for KC, fnatic, or vitality. They all would’ve had the same standing whether they won or lost (since 7th and 8th are essentially the same seed and Vitality wouldve been second seed since they wouldve lost in a tie). So I get your point but don’t really agree. even if you do disagree with me it’s not like i think it’s like a magical rule where if u dont have an incentive to win you automatically lose. I just think it’s a bad structure if the playoff line ups are super volatile and heavily decided by 3 matches where a team in each game doesn’t have much of a reason to win. Even if you think vitality didn’t have a reason to win then that just means 4 matches where one side didn’t have a reason to win were played. I think thats still a problem even if one of the 4 games went to a team that “didn’t care”.

I think Sion was fine he just needed to not die as much but this game loss wasn't all on Baus'. Crownie getting caught in mid with his pants down, + not getting soul the first time, + useless tempered fates, and finally Nemesis' final fight sealed the deal.

definition of wintrading = todays LEC games, LEC couldn't risk being embarrassed by a non-franchise team, so all the franchises got together and agreed on the outcomes of games to ensure LR wouldn't advance
sadly this feels true but if LR just won vs Vitality. none of this wouldve happened. im upset and also aware of the very OBVIOUS win trading for an 10% LR OUT outcome... but LR needed to win vs Vitality regardless. It was obvious, how the rest of the matches would've gone after LR lost.
To be fair Vitality also left Sion open for us, so we had our chance, unlucky we couldn't pull it off

Vitality picked the Meta...LR picked Chaos and almost made it work. Late LR had problems to get through Ali and Mundo...Panth was a solid 2nd line for Varus and Azir.
LR clearly won hearts with their draft...that Silas was crazy and the perfect pick.
Baus facing those Mundo Q Cleavers makes it very hard to properly engage high Q HP magic dmg + slow.
LR had to end early with Mundo Statchecking them. They were on a timer.
They all played well but needed more reliable ranged CC, effective poke or point and click killthreat for Varus and Azir.
As a Noob I think Zyra or Tresh Support would have made sense, maybe Zoe mid?
Baus needs to expand his champ Pool with a good Mundo counter Olaf maybe? Singed? - doesn t work in Proplay I guess.
