This guy is one of the reasons my parents met, he's had a massive influence on soul and jazz funk in the north west! What a legend!

Disrespectful. I’m in my late 50s and remember Colin Curtis dropping wicked sets in my 20s! The guy’s passion has never wavered music is eternal, shame your ignorance doesn’t appreciate this simple fact.

HOLLY MOLLY, what a set. This is real music, it transcends time. This man is craftsman and people got to see him toy with songs for a whole our. Gotta shout out to boiler room. Id love to've been there. He starts really mellow until the set starts surrounding a latin american rythm type of vibe and by the half of it you full on caribean beaches sea wind blowing your hair and so on.
I felt like Curtis showed me around with the set. Thanks, Colin. Come to Brazil.

Oh my word ! An absolute legend. His name should have been up there in lights with the greats from London, New York and other places where great music lovers like Manchester’s RichardSerling and deejay Johnathan from Rock City in England’s Nottingham who paved the way in the early to mid 80s when All day ( Alldayers )and All night ( All-nighters ) where so popular that people would trave in coaches from far to attend nightclubs and boogie non stop to stuff like what Colin Curtis plaed.

Try Google, but he’s been DJing for 50 years now. Was one of the best DJs in the soul & funk scene in Manchester in the 70s, and was one of the first DJs in the U.K. to play house music nights. A living legend!
Pioneer on the Northern Soul scene with Ian Levine in the Highland Rooms at the Blackpool Mecca and countless all-nighters in the ’70s.
A mainstay of the Manchester Ritzy and Nottingham Rock City all-dayers playing Latin/jazz funk/boogie and amongst the first to play Chicago House in the UK in the ‘80s.

43:25 is a bizarre move for me, purposefully just kill the groove over and over. Cool tracks selection, mixing with no flow with added random effects did not seem consistent however, especially once the energy built in the latter half. 50:48 is also just a whiff transition
