  • Hi guys!
    Welcome back to my channel! I am going to answer the question I get asked quite often. Is the secret lab magnus pro stable? Does it wobble?
    See it for yourself!
    I would say that it is comparable to a non-movable table!
    Wait for my next video on cable management where we will see the main selling point of the Secret Lab Table!

    An actual realistic test of the final consumer version of the desk. Fantastic.

    The shake doesn't look as bad as some claim. I may still buy it. Thanks!

      To me the shake is comparable to other desk! But of course at a height taller than 1.1m; its kinda expected to wobble. I would recommend this table; i havent tried out other brands of desk yet.

    I liked this. Can you show how the monitor c-clamps work near the cable troth?

    • @Otamacouple

      The C Clamp is a generic one I bought online. It works just like any other C-clamp; apologies I cant take any image now

    One thing I’m a bit curious about when it comes to wobbling. It do to the ground level stability like these things Usually are. Because I haven’t seen anyone using the classic fix for furniture where you put a thin piece of paper or something under.

    • @Otamacouple
      @Otamacouple  Год назад +1

      Oh for this table; it doesn't have the issue of that wobbling that you are talking about; the chair legs are extremely stable.

      @@Otamacouple so when in standing position there isn’t any shaking?

    • @Otamacouple
      @Otamacouple  Год назад +2

      @@aliessa8515 The base of the table wont wobble/shake; but its more of the wave motion when its at a height of 120cm. But to me its considered as stable.

    Do you know if lots of monitor arms can fit in the clamp area? I have two monitors that are 9.5kg - 34" but the secretlab arms can't hold em as it says 8kg max.
    Preordered the XL but need a diff clamp

    • @Otamacouple

      Hi Jesse, in my case i bought 2 different monitor arms and attached them at different spots on the table. I didnt use the secret lab monitor arm :x I use a generic brand arm x2 ar different spots.

    Another quick question.. curious about the box it came in.. how heavy is it can one person move it carrying it ?

      Hi ALI ESSA,
      The box is huge and its very heavy 40kg~; you can have a rough gauge of it at my video; the secret lab unboxing assembly guide

    Can you tell me the monitor arm model?
    I was looking for a model that I could put on top of the monitor.

      I use a generic brand bought from Shopee. Many models are able to fit such as this shopee.sg/-VISIONSWIPE%E2%84%A2-Dual-Standard-Monitor-Arm-Desk-Mount-Clamp-Desk-Accessory-i.767334214.13192353131?sp_atk=e72e79f9-ea31-4eae-ad7f-c129a48fcdb1&xptdk=e72e79f9-ea31-4eae-ad7f-c129a48fcdb1

    Great test! I'm thinking of ordering the Magnus Pro but worried about the low weight capacity of the PC mount (maximum 15kg). I see you've installed the PC mount too. How much does your computer weigh?

    • @Otamacouple
      @Otamacouple  Год назад +1

      Hi!
      My CPU weighs about 7kg; able to fit the mount. I doubt your pc weigh heavier than 15kg; it should be fine!

      @heltunikt Год назад

      @@Otamacouple yes, at 5kg above the limit I won't risk using the mount. It's a Fractal Design R6 case, so far from the heaviest out there. But the weight of a big GPU, the PSU, and water-cooling for the CPU does add up...
