- In this visit we visit a fantastic rally run by the Birmingham DA, at Droitwich Spa, we visit the Saltfest, but, is this a bit risky ??

Hi Rob and Lynn a great video and what a great place to stay and relax and you can’t whack there as a place to get away from it all
I know the train line you mean and pass by on it on the way to Worcester to work and it is dangerous and has been in the paper often they should look at it more now especially with the new building around droitwich - the trains are accelerating there to Worcester so a major safety issue
Droitwich used to be a major salt making centre and a link to Stourbridge is that John Corbett who founded the Corbett hospital moved there and had a wonderful house called the chateau impney he was the salt king and had massive salt works at stoke prior all now gone

Hi Rob & Lynn, always enjoy watching your vlogs. I used to work for the railway & found your comments interesting regarding the footpath level crossing. First thing to say there are hundreds of these types of crossings up & down the country. Each crossing is risk assessed on a regular basis & systems in place to ensure the crossing is safe if used correctly. Looking at the sighting I would say on that particular crossing whistle boards would be sighted for approaching trains to whistle. They are placed at such a distance to allow anyone using the crossing to get across way before the train gets there. To me I would say it's like crossing a road, is that not dangerous too? Also children should be made aware of the dangers of roads & railways through schools & parents. Keep up the good work & look forward to seeing your future vlogs.

I love our new Cadac. I have tried the little tapas pans but to be honest not over impressed. Loved cooking our Didly squat pork and beer sausages on. We really will have to try and get to a rally.

We have loads of walks across the rail tracks. There is an alarm i think when the train is coming.
Hi yes we have been told about the alarms, that’s very reassuring 👍
We have a very similar crossing 10 mins walk away in Field (Between Crawley & Horsham) not only that it's 3rd rail electrified.

Not the first open pedestrian rail crossing that I have seen, should be perfectly safe to use as long as people are sensible! Regarding the young children, it has to remain the parents (or supervising adults) responsibility to look after them and monitor what they are doing.

Hi, yes those rail crossing are dangerous, but can’t believe you’ve not encountered one before. We have a many like that in Derbyshire. Love the new harness for Mavis!

My 3yr old grandson is also a Bluey fan but i do not think he has got that cuddly toy that you have so i will have to look out for one for him.
Our granddaughter came today and was SO excited when she saw it, it’s a pretty good cartoon too, with adult humour ( not in a bad way ) but it’s one of the better children programs to watch

hope you enjoyed the rally thanks for info on tyre pressures from other vlog i have a Swift Bolero 744PR 8.2 Mtrs and i have my pressures set at 79.5 a per FIAT label on van but keep reading conflicting reports in MMM about PSI keep up the great vids me and my wife love them Lynn looking fab as usual 😊

Dodderhill Church can be seen from my bungalow. Lots of Roman history in the area. But you missed the other half of the Saltfest in the Lido Park …lots of demos and local food to taste. Let me know if you come back and I’ll send you some places of interest.

Just a small walk from our static we have a crossing over the railway like that one. And its a main line that takes InterCity trains doing 100 plus miles an hour. And yes you run like hell if you go across it. 😂

So many open rail crossings 😢 but a lot do have a light system, but that one you guys are on is on a housing estate 😢 & why would you let your 3 or 4 year old play outside without supervision, I mean surely they have a garden. I'm not gonna lie, living there would play with my anxiety when the grandkids visited 🥴 paranoia, what ifs 😢 apart from that what a nice place by the waters, off to Weston super mare Saturday I'm praying for some nice weather 😅 never been on that site so abit dubious... Most will know bluey if they have kids or Gkids 😜 I used to like a good bluey 😂 jkin 😂 on a serious note, hope you're both doing well 🙏🏼 awesome vlog from two amazing people ❣️🌹🤗🥂xx

Gutted,we were in Droitwich the weekend, fell on the salt festival, didn't know it was on,would of been great to meet you both,and grab a sticker😅.Did you see the wonky high street?.We stay on Droitwich marina cl.walk along the canal into town.How much did your rally cost,Cl £25 per night on a serviced pitch, with tolet/shower pods.We really like Droitwich.

I was a train in my former life, these crossing are everywhere, especially on branch lines, they are as safe as the person using it. Youve got about 20ft to walk, a train will not travel down there at such fast speeds thatbyou wouldnt see it.

Hi Rob & Lynn on Tour, That railway is disgusting as its a live track & there should be barriers there with lights on telling the public when its safe to cross, & should be reported to health & safety & British Railway organisation & fined for Know safety crossing, especially as there are children playing near it without there parents or guardians with them 😮 absolutely disgusting, but everything else looked amazing, & your granddaughter will be over the moon with bluey , & little mavis looked so happy in her posh new harness bless her little waggy tail 😅 , on an other note i am going into hospital on the 20th of this month for surgery on the start of many operations to have my hemmoroids cut out ,so just worried now that my cataract operations dont stop as i have to have general anarcetic with each operation in total 8 operations, then my colon is to be removed as well & i will need a bag on permanently afterwards 😢, so i am going through hell with worry about it all getting done before Christmas 🎄 hopefully, but hopefully after everything is done i will start to feel a little better, hope that you enjoy your break away & Rob go buy a fishing rod lol , Lynn you looked so beautiful in your new top, hopefully will get to see you on your next vlog very soon ,all my endless love ❤️ to you both ,have fun , Linda & Carly Dunn from Newport Shropshire xxx ❤😊xx

It's a common sense train crossing rob ... You don't cross when a train is coming ? Simple really like you don't cross a road when traffic is coming. Some people just need there noses wiping all the time common sense people don't .
