      Good to know I wasn’t alone 😂😂 ah I love Wales I’ve only been in the countryside not the cities so will have to stop by Newport next time! ☺️ thank you for watching! ❤️

      @londonunnie Lol. Hey ,you're not alone ! I bet many went / go through w that !! LOLLOLLOL I was like " Why am I getting ignored / sabotaged by every driver !!?" I checked how I dressed ,etc. LOL 😅 I even went into a restaurant right by the bus stop asking the workers there !! And later some passer I asked to ,told me I needed to wave ,raise my arm/ hand !! Lol. I was doing that from that time on & then one day ,I was inside of a bus stop thing ( not sure what to call it ?) ,a bus stopped & the door opened for me & the driver asked if I needed a ride ! I was shocked ! 😲 LOL He was such a nice guy !! I was looking at my phone ,I didn't know my bus was approaching.
      You should visit cities in Wales like Cardiff ,Newport & Swansea ,too ! Definitely ! I'll watch the video if you'll make one ! Lol. But,you're right, countryside of Wales are stunning ,wild beauties !! 😍 They've got a lot more to offer to visiters/ tourists if you're a nature lover ,or photographer, or love outdoor activities !! Wales is truly A GEM 💎 ✨️Thank you so much for your reply & the video ! I love riding on busses in London & Wales & Devon ,England !! I loved those rides & other passengers !! I had great conversations w 'em & many of 'em helped me a lot w information. Wonderful memories !! Bus rides in Monmouth, Wales were crazy !! They drove ( except for 1 driver ) super duper fast !!! LOL It felt like as if I was on a roller-coaster !!! 😅💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💞

      It's because multiple buses often use the same stop so drivers just ignore a stop if everyone is standing back or sitting back from the kerb, they assume people are waiting for a different bus.

    Is the oyster card the same for bus and subway?
    Thank you

    • @londonunnie
      @londonunnie  Месяц назад +2

      Yes it's the same Oyster card on both the bus and tube. If it is easier, you can also use a regular credit/bank card if it has contactless tapping functionality. If you have a smartphone with a digital wallet, this also works as well

    Is there like full day ride package or is it like pay and ride as we go ?

    • @londonunnie
      @londonunnie  2 месяца назад +4

      When you first tap on a bus, it is £1.75 for the full duration of your journey on that bus. You are charged by journey, not by duration or zones. If you change buses, you won't be charged as long as you made the change within 1 hour of when you first tapped. If you change buses after an hour, you are charged another £1.75.
      For pay as you go, there is a daily cap of £5.25 (you have to use the same card for all journeys) or you can get a 1 day bus/tram pass for £6.
