The seventh hike of my stay in the Dolomites once again took me to the Three Peaks. This time, however, I started the tour before sunrise at the Rifugio Auronzo to escape the mass tourism.
The first destination was the Rifugio Locatelli Innerkofler. From there, it was only 17.2 km and 775 metres in altitude below the Paternkofel past the Bödensee lakes to the Büllelejoch. From there, the route went to the Büllelejochhütte and onto the Oberbachernspitzen plateau to enjoy the fantastic panoramic views in all directions. The way back was downhill past the Lago di Cenquia and via the Lavaredo hut to the starting point at the Auronzo hut.

The Three Peaks (Italian: Tre Cime di Lavaredo) are a striking mountain range in the Sesto Dolomites on the border between the Italian provinces of Belluno in the south and South Tyrol in the north.
The highest peak in the group is the Cima Grande (2999 metres above sea level). It stands between the two other peaks, the Western Peak (Cima Ovest, 2973 m) and the Small Peak (Cima Piccola, 2857 m). In addition to these striking rock towers, there are several other summits in the massif, including the Punta di Frida (2792 m) and the Torre Preuß, also known as the Torre Preuß (Cima Piccolissima, 2700 m).

Die siebte Wanderung meines Dolomiten Aufenthalts führte erneut zu den Drei Zinnen. Diesmal aber begann ich die Tour noch vor Sonnenaufgang am Rifugio Auronzo, um dem Massentourismus zu entfliehen.
Das erste Ziel war das Rifugio Locatelli Innerkofler. Von dort ging es auf nur insgesamt 17,2 km und 775 Höhenmetern unterhalb des Paternkofels vorbei an den Bödenseen zum Büllelejoch. Von dort ging es zur Büllelejochhütte und auf das Plateau der Oberbachernspitzen um die die tollen Ausblicke in alle Richtungen zu genießen. Der Rückweg erfolgte talwärts vorbei am Lago di Cenquia und über die Lavaredo Hütte zum Ausgangspunkt Auronzohütte.
WISSENSWERTES:
Die Drei Zinnen (italienisch Tre Cime di Lavaredo) sind ein markanter Gebirgsstock in den Sextner Dolomiten an der Grenze zwischen den italienischen Provinzen Belluno im Süden und Südtirol im Norden.
Die höchste Erhebung der Gruppe ist die 2999 m s.l.m. hohe Große Zinne (ital. Cima Grande). Sie steht zwischen den beiden anderen Gipfeln, der Westlichen Zinne (Cima Ovest, 2973 m) und der Kleinen Zinne (Cima Piccola, 2857 m). Neben diesen markanten Felstürmen zählen noch mehrere weitere Gipfelpunkte zum Massiv, darunter die Punta di Frida (2792 m) und der Preußturm, auch Kleinste Zinne (Torre Preuß, Cima Piccolissima, 2700 m).
