This was the best RUclips video I’ve accidentally came acrossed in a long time. Us WVU fans and players aren’t used to things like this happening within our basketball program. From week one, starting off first game they ever played and coached together, WVU started, up 32-0. Nobody quite does that . I knew this would be a special season. I knew Devries was gonna out coach most coaches. Besides the Pitt fluke game, where we started 18% for 14 min and Pitt shot 82%, every week something special, something never done in our history, has happened I hope Kansas recovers and gets their crap together They are do much better than yesterday But at least we can say that maybe somebody will finally respect us, after having played 3 OT games, 3 days jn row, beating Gonzaga and Arizona, who both have only lost to ranked teams. Being told we would never win a rebounding battle, yet Kansas is the first team besides Pitt that out rebounding us. And by 1. And we have been outsized by lots of inches down low every single time. We have made a home run hire and if we ever get healthy it is now official that we will have a good chance to beat anybody. And I can’t get enough. We have 2 losses. One during having played 3 OT games in a row. I think it’s time
I have watched a lot of West Virginia games vs. good competition. West Virginia has a team that could go deep in the NCAA's this season. I'm not surprised about this loss.
Just an observer, but the wrong players are in the starting 5. I know the center is suppose to be great, but his backup had more fire and drive. His number is #40.
Having Hunter hedge screen 20 feet from the basket is absolutely ridiculous. Bill learned nothing from last year’s 13:33 Gonzaga butt pounding, I guess.
Not sure why hunter keeps getting a pass on the podcasts. Kj and juan were on the team in 21-22 and 22-23 and those teams looked and worked much better. Obviously the NC year things were different in terms of roster, but the makeup in 22-23 not terribly different than now. The common denominator last two seasons is Hunter. Energy is bad, efffort inconsistent. We all should expect more from him. Hes not consistent and my feeling its because he doesnt care . I get the issues with KJ, Storr and Griffen... .but Hunter came with massive expectations and he is not consistently delivering. Is the major problem for the team.
KU has 2 players starting that are offensively ineffective..Harris and Adams..that limits their offense..Harris is a good PG, but Adams doesnt do anything overly good to be starting..
Bob Huggins is gone. WVU is about to start a new golden era as the most dogged determined team on your schedule every year. No bow, no break and always in your face. Get used to it. This is us for the foreseeable future and the players are going to keep getting better. Self wants no part of Devries and neither do the others Bring it on every day every game. We’ll beat your asses again at the end of the year if you make it that far. You think I’m kidding.LOL.
Well it's not because the refs called a fair game.... They tried to help Kansas late in the game.... Kansas was playing hard no fouls called on them... West Virginia was playing off and got fouls called galore.... All it's going to take is one referee turncoat

Hunt is the least of the problems with this team

Look at the FT totals for both teams and it’s even more impressive that WV won at Kansas.

If Storr and Griffen aren’t the answer, try burning McDowell’s redshirt and give him a chance.
He’s not the answer either. Griffen and Storr have plenty of talent. The problem is KJ and Bill’s stubbornness.
This loss was ‘the fault of’ the Kansas coaches and players.
Done.
And the win was deserved by the WV coaches and players. They did really well.
One good thing to remember today: March is a loooong time away.
