      @@DinirNertan Thanks! I am genuinely happy that I got to be in people's recommendation! I usually make ID clips but directed towards overseas fans though. This one is pretty much directed towards Indonesian fans (which is okay, I want to do these sometimes).

      @@pamomi Honestly, I never would have guessed it was directed toward Indonesian fans any more than any other clip if I didn't see your comment. The subs are still in English and the context is still easy to understand even not knowing any Indonesian, so I don't think there's much to worry about it having more limited appeal.

    Funny story time!
    When I was in Uni, we have a lot of Japanese homestay programs and a bowl in Bruneian (my native tongue) is callled mangkuk so just imagine their faces when we told them to "ambil mangkuk (take the bowl)" The girls especially was super shocked and yes, we kinda forgot about it...I mean where in the conversations would we even use "mangkuk"?! Oh, as for cincin, we also have a traditional snack called "kuih cincin" which the guys found funny 😂

    Just for the sake of expanding culture: In Mexican Spanish, ring is "anillo" and since sounds like a variation of the word "ano" (don't ask, Mexican stuff) and means "anus", the phrase " give me the ring" can mean "give me the anus"...

    Indonesian and tagalog really have similar sounding words. Ring in indonesian is "cincin", in tagalog/filipino it's "singsing". But yeah, cincin is quite funny to say if you are japanese. Lord Chinchin would be pleased.

    There is a similar thing in French : when people celebrate something or gather with friend and we have drinks in our hands, we say : “kanpai” in japanese and “cheers” in english.     As a southern asian, at first i was confused why iofi was reluctant then i remember the word "cincin" pronounced like "chinchin". Sasuga Iofi.

    This is one of my biggest concern when learning Japanese back in the day, I was like "wait, this could lead to a misunderstanding...." but I remembered that I will be using English or Japanese for it anyway. It's not like I will have a conversation with another Indonesian in Indonesian.....

      Basically, any vtuber agencies and individuals prohibit you from monetizing their content. Unfortunately, though, RUclips *will* put ads inside your videos even when you don't apply for their monetization program
