    • @MedicoVisual
      @MedicoVisual  2 года назад +2

      You are very welcome. Respiratory Embryology is already done. Some videos of respiratory embryology are available on this channel, others are available on the website www.medicovisual.com for $4 only. Tongue development has also been recorded and is available as a part of head n neck embryology course on medicovisual.com. Regarding GIT; thats the topic I am going to do next. It may take 2-3 months atleast.
      Also, if you buy a course from the website, put "RUclips" as a coupon code at checkout for a flat 20% discount.
      I am so sorry if I sound too salesy. Unfortunately, youtube pays in pennies and I had to keep some lectures behind the paywall to fund this project.

    This is a very wonderful and informative video...... Please to be clear so the fetus both urinates in the amniotic fluid and drinks it back 9:23 - 9:27, and also part of the urine goes through the urachus?
    2.) Does it go Into the maternal blood stream?

    • @MedicoVisual
      @MedicoVisual  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much for the appreciation.
      Yes, the fetus both urinates into and drinks the amniotic fluid. It might sound a bit odd, but it's a normal part of fetal development. This process helps in the growth of the fetus's lungs and digestive system.
      The urachus is a channel that connects the fetal bladder to the umbilical cord. Most of the fetal urine ends up in the amniotic fluid, but some part may go to the urachus.
      The waste products from the fetus, including from the urine, are transferred to the mother's bloodstream through the placenta. This is how the mother's body helps in removing the fetal waste. Please note that the "Urine" in its entirety is not transferred to maternal bloodstream, only the waste products are removed. This is due to presence of the placenta, which acts as a selective barrier between the maternal fluids and fetal body fluids. In an essence, placenta is acting as a kidney of the fetus. • @MedicoVisual
      @MedicoVisual  2 года назад +1

      Intraembryonic part of Umbilical veins develops from the intraembryonic splanchnic mesoderm. It is the caudal continuation of sinus venosus of embryological heart tube. It's fate and development has been discussed in detail in Premium 3D CardioVascular Embryology MasterClass here: www.medicovisual.com/courses/premium-cardiovascular-embryology-3d-masterclass

      No! I haven't done any specialization in Embryology. I am BSc, MBBS. Also, I am self-taught animator / 3D graphics designer. The reason these lectures are in-depth is that I rigurously study from multiple textbooks before making any lecture.
