I used to be too, but give playing by ear a try. It used to take me hours to formulate a cover but now I can usually think it up on the spot (unless I want to refine it like I do on RUclips).

Argh! Everyone covers that stupid Gary Jules ruined cover. Its impossible to find a cover of the original bouncy, faster song. The whole premise of the damn song was that the tune sounded upbeat but the lyrics were very much the opposite. This is just all downbeat!
