With fewer games over same period, stars would play all games in season, and still be ready for playoffs.
My preference is for a better season with better play and best players in every game -

They play the same brand of basketball that the Knicks do if you watch them during the regular season and the 1st round of the playoffs. Idk why but the Knicks just arent playing well at all against the Heat.

They were an 8th seed, and maybe Jimmy could of got them a 4-6 seed, but these role players are all of a sudden playing well and have so much confidence. Your take was spot on. It's about getting your whole team ready for when their number is called. And it's showing now in the playoffs. I'm sure even if we have to put UD out there, he'll put up productive minutes.
Obviously getting Kevin Love has been huge but Gabe, who has been great, as the starting PG has been massive for Miami. Having a fresh veteran PG in Kyle to run the second team keeps them rolling when Jimmy has to rest and he'll have more energy if he's in the closing 5 too.

I’ve never been a Randle fan but watching this series has cemented it for me. He’ll shoot you out of the game in the second quarter taking a bunch of “I’m him” shots when they just need to run the offense. He always seems to be looking to take the shot that blows the top off and completely misses making the right play. And he’s not as good of a shooter as he thinks he is so any night you’re at risk of the dreaded 5/14 game from him and it’s only the 3rd quarter when you realize it’s happening lol I’m a Heat fan and I couldn’t be happier to see him tank the Knicks’ opportunity to win lol
LOL best comment of the playoffs so far. He has a lot of talent but he is a frustrating player sometimes. He reminds me of a mix between Carmelo and Anthony Mason. Sort of an ISO ball stopper like Melo and Anthony Mason because he was bulky and shouldn't have really been shooting. He shoots 46% from the field and 34% (not terrible) from 3. He should be over 50% as a PF. Which means he takes a lot of those bad 17-20 foot 2 pt shots.

He should be above 50% from the field which tells me he takes and misses too many long 2's and 3's. He should be playing near the paint all game

They decided to lose against the Hawks so the Heat don't have to face Boston first round, Philly second round, and go up against a Bucks team that is firing on all cylinders in the ECF. Take care of the hardest team first, than a knicks team with little playoff experience is way better. As for the ECF we shall see who we face.
