When Heavy Metal was pronounced dead in the early nineties, a bunch of German kids set out from the middle of nowhere to fight all odds and in doing so conquered the hearts of a whole new generation of fans around the globe.

Seriously, I feel pity for people repeating like zombies: "that's not Edguy, that's not power metal." So close-minded.
Instead of keeping doing the same thing over and over like most power metal bands, Edguy experiment with different styles, and above all, have fun with their music. Do you know what's Edguy? What Edguy wants to be.
I absolutely love their funny, tongue-in-cheek, 80's style hard rock songs. Which in addition are damn good hard rock songs on themselves, both in composition and attitude. They still have their fair share of talentfully played power metal tracks, but if you want more, you can look for them in other bands.
and that's what people do bro, complain on this and that, it took alot of time to make the concept and such also some studio practice to make a new song for a new album and those people just comment on whatever they want within their point of view in seconds (those people are keyboardheads i tell you xD).
if you like power metal just listen their firsts albums!!! this is pure hard rock and its great!! Sorry for my bad english!
Daniel Fernández Marchán Well put...people say they've stopped doing power metal but there hasn't been an edguy album yet where you can't say there isn't atleast one really great power metal track...thats the great thing about edguy and sonata arctica, every album now has a really unique personality to them and i just love it!

Glam Metal or not, this song is so much fun and I love it! To me, Power Metal always represents fun, energy and positivity. And this song has all of that! Regardless of the genre, it's so enjoyable and uses it's relatively basic structure to the fullest extent. Edguy always have the most fun with their songs and this is no exception

Well contrary to most peoples opinions of this song, it's probably one of my favourites off of the album.

Disliked it when I first heard it, but it's grown on me a lot. I'll say the same thing for the entire album. Not my favorite...yet. But I remember when I didn't like a lot of their stuff when I first heard it, and like a couple years later, they were my favorite CDs. The best music needs time to grow on me. If I love a CD right out of the gate, I can just about guarantee that I'll be tired of it in 6 months, because there's not enough depth.

For those that don't know, Tobi fell off stage while on tour (I forgot what concert it was) but it was a bigger one and he fell off and he break a rib and his nose but got back up and continued singing.. :D

Man, I really love this band. This music is simply amazing.
Is it bad that I like this song? I mean, I love the old Edguy and everything, but groups are always evolving. Besides, it's not like they've lost their old style completely. You can still listen to the old Edguy in songs like Defenders of the Crown, Realms of Baba Yaga or Shadow Eaters. Edguy has always loved to do different stuff in their records, so I don't understand why there's so much complaining now.
If one does, the weak people will follow it.
Edguy ist für mich eine Super Band egal was andere sagen. Und egal ob Power Metal Glam Metal oder Rock. Edguy hört sich für mich nach Edguy an. Und bestimmt ist dieses Album wieder richtig gut
Edguy sind genial! Gerade weil sie die Musik machen, die sie selber machen wollen und sich von Album zu Album entwickeln. Ich verstehe da viele Metal Hörer nicht, die immer "auf den Mainstream scheißen" wollen, dann aber ausrasten, wenn eine Band nicht auf jedem Album gleich klingen, anstatt einfach die geile Musik zu genießen.
Stimmt. Hab die Earbook Version und mir Gefällts sehr gut das neue Album. Nur das Rock me Amadeus Cover ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig finde ich. Aber auch nicht schlecht

Viele Metal Fans mögen Wandel einfach nicht, wenn es nur um den Wandel geht. In diesem Sinne sind die meisten Metal Fans auf ihre Art sehr konservativ.

So starker Wandel ist aber gar nicht im neuen Edguy Album. Und ist ja Langweilig wenns sich eine Band immer gleich anhört. Ausserdem ich finds gut dass eine Band macht wobei sie Spaß hat..

Edguy reinvented itself every album. For me the best albuns are Hellfire club, Rocket Ride and Space Police.

Love this video and this song. This was just one of those songs and videos where you know the entire band was just having fun and not taking any of it seriously. Just going out there and going "Okay, we're going to be complete goofs." Then they gave it to whoever drew the animation for the music video and told them to do the same

When I first heard it on the radio a couple of days ago, I thought it was a song from an 80s glam rock band (liked it nevertheless :-)). I've been an Edguy fan for a long time, used to buy the new albums, went to a couple of concerts, but have not kept up with their music for some time now. Should start again now, that we have so much time sitting at home :)

me encanto el tema y el nuevo disco, y por lo que veo hay una discusion tremenda por lo nuevo y antiguo de edguy, solo dire, quien quiere metal mas fuerte, hay mas bandas, y quien no le guste, no lo escuche simple, yo creo que edguy no hará caso de lo que dicen en sus comentarios absurdos, pienso que hacen lo que les gusta y aman y disfrutan como lo producen, eso es todo. cuando no estas de acuerdo con alguna cosas no es necesario mandar al carajo, es una cuestión de criterio y respeto hacia la banda y las otras personas.

a mi personalmente me gusto el disco, tiene arreglos mucho mejor elaborados dentro de lso instrumentos escenciales, y canciones que recuerdan riff mas heavy metal,en si el power de antes si bien es emocionante, deja mucho que desear en las composiciones, muy simples y predecibles, y si es por eso escucho a strato o a sonata jajaja , bien por la evolucion de Edguy, le hace bien a los músicos , de no ser así tendríamos a otro fenómeno pasajero sin nada mas que ofrecer sacando mas de lo mismo todos los días.

I think this song is actually very cool. I can easily imagine myself - I don't know - driving in a cabriolet car with Evel Knievel-space police decals on a sunny day with this song playing very loud. And quite frankly, I do think that's something Edguy would do.
