Nice drive and great race.
Very nice, I ran 125cc shifters for 10 years, then went to bigger cars. The 125's was a lot more fun and less work. I had my shifter reverse from yours and very close to the wheel so I could downshift by just pushing it with the back on my hand, keeping both hands on the wheel. Excellent run.
a
Nice drive ,cart looks like it handles great , cant say you had h.p. on any of the guys you passed ,you were there and took advantage of theire mistakes
Well done !!
Awesome
I had to Google Assen to get a track map, but it looks nothing like what I had previously visualized from watching the race. This looks like more fun than racing an FF1600 or FF2000.
Great drive, nice setup and looking real grippy out there on the day.
Who's #1, Adam Kout?
13:53 can't have been too happy about that.
Yep - number 1 is Adam Kout. Was a tough fight indeed :)
230kph on a kart.. you sir, have carbon fiber balls.
Yup!!!
1:01 crazy awesome move
This is FAB! I've done Assen only once on my '71 Laverda SF750; it was quite a challenge... 😀 Great camera angles btw
My god man!
love how you cut him off at the end and we hear sqeal marks and the video ends LOL
I don't know about you but I'm exhausted.
Guys how do I partecipate to a championship if I would like to ?
I really want to cart but I have no clue on how to do that . Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
Hi mate - it's not that easy to start out of the box for the european championship. You require a certain level of licence degree. I'm sure that we can provide some further insights - please contact us via info@jost-motorsport.de Cheers
@@jostmotorsport hey man thanks for the answer I will be emailing you . Thank you .
Hey bro how do I also join this type of racing pls reply me
Start in 125cc karts and win. plus money.
Where do I sign up?
Not that easy
Josh Owens not the case in Australia. If you want to race these, buy one, and show up. Not an exclusive sport here, if you can afford it.
What helmet do you have?
Hi - I use a Arai GP6
What types of karts are these? They sound so different🤩
Different from what?
Why do you let go of the throttle on the straights?
cause of shifting i guess
yes...when shifting to higher gear for a split of a second he lifts his foot of the throttle for "smoother" shifting
Once you lose the draft you have to be spot on with hitting your marks or your not catching anyone quick.
Some parts of the video make me think the sound is like a downsized Viper V10!
Wow, drivers actually driving their machines...unlike f1. Fabulous racing!
Passou da hora de ter retrovisores.... reduziria muito os riscos de acidentes
hella good driving holy shit
thx mate!
There’s no way running over those rumbles strips in the final chicane is helping the kart go faster. I can’t imagine that’s helping the kart rotate.
Why is the shifter inverted?
motorbike engine so motorbike gearbox. 1st push and all the others you pull. for a bike it's bottom 1st and top for the others.
JayB29 other way around push to change up, pull to change down.
I think what Christ Chris meant is that in most sequential manual transmission cars it is pull to change up a gear, push to change down. So in this sense the karts are inverted. And even on a bike if you think about it, you pull with your foot to change up and push to change down on almost all bikes. Drag racers and vintage bikes are exceptions.
As sketchy as that over steer is on that thing I’d move my front hubs out or inward a half centimeter or so . Your driving the hell outa that thing in the high speed corners
How much experience with karts do you need to actually feel or notice a difference with those changes? I've been practicing a little on a shifter 125 when I was 12 but didnt race or do that many laps, maybe maximum of 50-100 laps but I could keep up with some rich kids who were training for races :) Even got to test a YZ250 engined superkart chassis once, it didnt want to turn into any corner without braking to shift the weight to front but it was like a missile on straights, didnt stop if you spun, just hold the pedal down on any gear and it would start a burnout :D
I would love to ride on it but instead of stick shifting it will be pedal gear shifting
MPH would make a lot more sense kph is a crippled measurement
I like kmh better
easier to understand for me
It went around 136 mph top speed
