This is the crossover we needed, especially for the boys that already follow the channels like dan and kaz, nice progress boys! This progression makes sense too, since UK drill is up there in terms of quality and layers and there's a lot to grow with further when it comes to hiphop, the lyrics, how they're often layered and coded, the stories attached to the songs often giving them a real aspect and further enjoyable, etc. Only issue is that it's often best to start ''chronologically'' from A to Z, just for the context and to ''get'' and enjoy it more, for example this song took place not only after a lot happened in Digga D's life, but also his progression in life along with musically, so having the journey leading up to that helps enjoy and understand it better. (And of course matching the progress of the whole scene and movement, the changes, etc) Which is also why people naturally suggest olders songs of each good artist when they get into drill, to kinda catch up, etc. Definitely want more of these videos, was halfway this and already wished there was more good UK drill reactions from ya'll to go to after this, but I guess we gotta be patient!

Well the last bit is just wrong. He was conceived in 1999 and born in 2000 hence "conceived in 90s, born in the 00s". "17 with a 38" refers to him being 17 with a 38 sniper, not a .38 revolver. It's a really fucking famous Digga D line "I was the only guy my age in West London with a sniper"
The bit about 6 and 3 more you didn’t get - he was on about driving away from police, he said he’s got 6 (points) if he gets 3 more then he’s in a place he might get recalled (get re called back to prison) 👍🏼

I mean its drill its just more main stream and not the more gritty stuff that birthed the genre. Uk drill is kind of in that stage now where its coming out of the shadows. Its still a relatively new genre and thats what i love.These man manage to stay lyrically inclined while maintaining a nice vibe. You literally get the best of both worlds with uk drill. The flows and beat selection is rather unique to.
