- Towbox? From Towcar. A dog transport box a luggage box.
My purpose box is:
1. Daily transport of my dog, so I avoid getting the dog into the car.
2. Luggage Box for the holidays, so we avoid the roof box, which provides much wind noise and increased fuel consumption.
In the video you see the box Towbox v2 from slightly different angles and you get an impression of the application. And no roses without thorns :) A little criticism too.

Rigtig god video tak for den. Har du nogen tips til montering af nummerpladen? Skal man bore huller igennem og bolte, eller har de lavet noget smart, der også passer til en dansk nr. plade?
Nu er det længe siden jeg monterede nummerpladen, men jeg husker det som simpel. Jeg lavede to huller med en boremaskine og brugte bolte med møtrik på bagsiden. Ingen problem på denne model at monter en dansk nummerplade.
@@MrAalestrup Tak for svar. Jeg nåede i mellemtiden at købe en boks OG montere nr.plade. 😊 Og ja du har ret, det var heldigvis nemt. Jeg købte nr. plade-skruer i Harald Nyborg til 15 kr incl plastik hætter. Borede små huller i pladen, og skruede den så direkte i plastikken på bagageboksen. Sidder perfekt 👌så endnu en gang tak for en god video, den hjalp meget med beslutningen.
The black version is rather cargo. For animal transport they have version with ventilated rearwall.
Tak for en super gennem gang. Jeg vil lige høre om du er tilfreds med den? Vi står og mangler lidt ekstra plads når vi syd på her til sommer. Så det var lidt idé om at benytte sådan en lignende. Men du bruger ikke værktøj til at montere enheden på krogen kan det passe? Alle de andre jeg har set på skal man bruge værktøj for at afmontere platformen igen.
Ja jeg er tilfreds med den, men vær OBS på at denne model efterhånden er en gammel model. Vedr. værktøj, så bruges der kun værktøj til første gang at juster en bolt som virker som stop på krogen, så kassen ikke tippen nedad. Når først det hele er justeret til bil og træk, så burde der ikke være mer. :)
@@MrAalestrup det er jeg klar over. Det er en 5 år gammel som jeg kigger på. Men fedt at det kun er første gang man skal benytte sig af værktøj. Det tiltaler mig ret meget. 😉 Samt at den kan laste så meget som den kan. Naturligvis skal man være opmærksom på kugletrykket.

The box fully meets my expectations. There are no problems with the equipment. I have used it a couple of times as a holiday box and it works perfectly since all of our luggage is on the back of the car. It reduces fuel consumption and noise. A baggage box on the roof gives a lot of wind noise and it increases fuel consumption. But with this box I do not have these problems. The conclusion is that we are still very happy about it.
Thank you for the answer. Could you tell me please, how does the box behaves when you drivt at a high speed (above 50 mph) on a bad road or if you drive over a pits?
Did you have situation when the box flew from the ball, crooked (forward, backward, left, right) or hit the body of the car?
I have never experienced it moving. The jaws that are sitting around the ball are very strong and there is a mere one to prevent it from sinking. I've driven the road bump without problems, but not at high speed, but it has been for the car. By the way, if you think it does not hug the ball, it can be tightened. I have tried after it is fully loaded to jump on it with my 100kg and it did not move.

Almost forgot to ask you. Does it have antifog lights and plate number lights?
This really is the worst thing I could think of for transporting any animal. Dangerous and dark. No protection in the event of an accident. I love my dogs too much to let them travel in such a dangerous way.
The box can be used to transport items for a dog, but is also suitable for luggage. Your attitude to animal transport is based on conjecture. It is your right to have that attitude and opinion. I reserve the right to think otherwise.
@@MrAalestrup my attitude to animal transport is based on experience and not conjecture. I respect your opinion...but not the unsafe way you transport your dogs.
That may be the stupidest way to transport an animal I have ever seen. Exhaust fumes must terrible and the most common accident is being struck in the rear end.
My dog is totally crazy about it, so it's not really crazy. The dog has good space and there is a nice ventilation around the box. Only thing you need to pay attention to is transport time in the sunshine when the box is heated. However, it is not a problem as our trips are typically less than 5 minutes.
