Bro I have a question. When i had fz25, motul maintained the engine temperature better than most brands and now that i have sold my old bike and bought a used dominar, can you please tell me the difference motul makes when it comes to engine temp. on the D400?
Hi Bro. Sorry for the delay in response. Even in D400, while using Motul, ull notice engine heat especially in summers. Having said that, it’s very less comparatively while we use Bajaj oil. I will have to add that the pickup on Bajaj oil is better when compared to motul (my personal opinion) but engine noise, smoothness, heating issues and highway performance is better when we use Motul.
Brother which oil are u using cause by using motul 7100 I guess the bike warranty will become void ? As Bajaj recommends to use their oil so that engine warranty can be claimed till 75k kms. Pls suggest as you also have the new Dominor 400 model
To keep the warranty, while servicing, just get a oil topup added to your bill. U don’t need to use the Bajaj oil, just a bill showing that u have done a topup will help. Later u can use whatever oil u want.
Right, Bajaj oil is actually a recycled oil with additional supplements/ chemicals therefore you won't get expected results. Therefore bad riding experience 😮
For NS 200 shall i use bajaj 10w50 instead of 20w50 from bajaj??
Im not interested in switching between other brand oil due to warranty issue.
No problem , currently i am using Castrol which is better than stock bajaj oil.

Engine temperature may vary to some degree however motul is better on performance and duration.

What if that i fill engine oil of 1.5L instead of 1.8 L ?
It should still be fine but for few hundred KM. it’s best to have 1.8

Try it ...i tried it in mine...it's like the engine has got changed...butter smooth ...I put it in new D250 just after 1100 kms...
That's for racing engines, not good for daily commute. Read it up
