She has been talking to this guy for 3 years. It wouldn't be that easy to turn her feelings for him off. She has only been friends with Aisha for a year & change. Although I agree she should have chosen her friend but I understand stand why she didn't as well.
In the beginning of the episode Tiana and her best friend said they met about four years ago on Facebook, probably right before she moved to Washington, so the baby daddy probably found Tiana through the baby mama's Facebook about three years ago. Also they ended their friendship because Tiana said that she still feels Aisha was in on the plan to catfish her, not because she liked Trez. I wasn't surprised because Tiana said she has lost a lot of friends because of her attitude. Anyways, great review as always Ashley! Keep them coming
I guess it's just me, but it seemed to me that Tiana actually likes James and was trying to play it off as if she wasn't flattered that her friend's baby daddy wanted to be with her. It makes no sense that she would go and meet with him the next day after finding out it was her friends baby daddy, there shouldn't have been anything else for them to talk about at that point.
First thing I thought was how long they been friends and she didn't know her baby daddy lol she had this girl watching her child....like girl what? Lol

I felt bad for the guy who was in the Facebook pictures (not the rapper, but the caucasian guy). The way they were talking about him had him sounding like some creepy weird guy who is lurking in the Internet. They even said he was the type of person people fear they are talking to.

This episode was a mess & very entertaining...lmbo! You are so right about the Tianas. My ex best friend name is Teonia & she is the same way. She was giving her money to some dude she met online. He claims to be in the Military, but somehow end up in Jail for child support & she was giving him her entire check to help out instead of helping her parents pay bills, since she was living in their house. I was like this makes no sense & she is crazy. Also, I believe they said, they were friends for 1yr 1/2 from facebook, which doesn't count in my mind & if i'm not mistaking, I think Aishia said, they weren't friends anymore because Tiana still thought that she had something to do w./ the whole catfish thing, which I was agreeing w./ Aishia when she was saying how Tiana shouldn't start crying now after wasting time for 3yrs. Tiana could have at least knew all of Aisha's baby daddy's names obviously they weren't that close of friends if she didn't know Trez. Plus you can tell that Trez may have been Aisha's like first love & has been thru a lot of heart break & everyone spills the tea about their first love to their closest friends.
I think it's stupid they ended whatever friendship they had. Even watching the catfish fresh special they were mad at the wrong person.
And there is no way in hell imma let my baby daddy ruin my relationships. The hidden footage and she was like this fool walked in my house, messaged my boyfriends. Im like kick his ass lol

This episode seemed sooo fake and over the top. From these supposed "best friends" not knowing who each other has had a child with (even though according to Trez, he and Aisha 'coparent', so you'd think he would be around more often) to the rando white dude thrown in just to mix it up (how do they contact these people to allow their names and images to be used, btw? "Hey, it's Nev, can we use your picture in an episode of Catfish as the creepy dude that might be the catfish but actually has no relevance to the story? Thanks.") Also, they just HAPPEN to bring along the best friend everywhere and then she turns out to be a vital part of the story? And come on, the guy has 8 kids who now have to see their dad on TV saying he doesn't even LIKE kids. Yeah, THAT won't cause any emotional damage. I only watch this show so I know what's going on when I watch your recap videos because you are hilarious. I wish I watched some of the other shows you recap!

Aisha was the friend that lies and wants u to catch on to her lie so she doesn't get caught I.e. girl u remember we went back to ur crib and watched netflix until i had to go to work and Tiana was the slow friend that just never catches on and fucks it up for everybody I.e. bitch tf u was bustin it wide open for boosie badass on the 4th.. but honestly was Tiana really all there?? She seemed a bit off like so this man makes u smile and u chose him over ur daughter and was about to choose him over ur friend??
