Holy lift-cart Batman! This thing is incredible. Definitely have to pick on up this week. Thanks for creating and sharing. Most other videos do not actually show the cart lifting anything moderately heavy.
Great! Nice to know a thousand pound lifter can lift 386 pounds! But that JD with the plow is a different story. Just waiting for the juice to come squirting out of the lines! ;-) Its good to see a real demonstration. I noticed that Harbor Freight uses these to get heavy boxes out to our cars.
Im thinking of using one of these to lift my motorcycle instead of a standard lift- because I have an old bmw that the oil pan hangs below the frame. Noone makes a jack lift that works with it that I can just lift on the frame- which I need to do to completely dissasemble at waist height. I think with a chock inside in the scissor frame as a stop this would actually work well.
I also already have that exact floor jack from them, it works well, and I can lift the bike by the oil pan, but its not good for it to lift it that way. It also doesn't go high enough to get work done
What good is this lift? I mean, if the blades need sharpening/replacing or if the belts need changing, the mower deck can't be removed. Heck, the mower deck couldn't even be leveled. Personally, we use a sturdy platform table with ramps and an overhead chain hoist in our shop to perform repairs on all of our customer's riding mowers & garden tractors.
This video was a demonstration to show the lifting capacity. I actually use the lift to work on snowblowers, walk behind mowers, rototillers, etc. Go visit Bruce Pender's channel. He uses his a lot for repairs. Then you can see more of what it is good for.
How do you correctly bleed it? I have bought 3 new replacement ram cylinders and all fail. It will not jack up..I can push down on the foot lever and it will go up but as soon as I let off the foot lever it goes right back down..I've bled it every way... what is the trick?
For several years I've been wanting that unit's little brother, HF's 500# capacity hydraulic cart, to use with walk-behind mowers and snowblowers as youtuber Bruce Pender does. Seems like it would save a lot a bending and backaches.
Interesting video. The only thing that scared me was how hard it is to push on the foot pedal. I do not think I would be able to do it. You are a risk taker as that nice John deer could have come crashing down.
@@RealManSkills Thanks for your comments and I have two fast questions. Is the table a steel top and is it really hard to push the foot pedal or it just looks that way,.
Unfortunately, No. The 500 lb table has a locking mechanism but the 1000 lb table does not. I made a piece of wood to wedge down against the rollers, that act as a lock. Thanks for watching.
Finally a video of someone using the lift and not unboxing it. Thank you
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
Straight to the point! I have no idea why or how “unboxing” is ‘supposed to’ be so cool?!

This thing is a beast! I picked one up yesterday. HF also raised the price from $299 to $319, but it is worth every penny.
Thanks for watching! $319 is well worth it to avoid a back injury! You would pay a doctor more!
Just bought one a few days ago. Price is now $369
I’m about to buy one today (March 2024). Reg Price $369.99. I have a coupon for $299.99.
Fantastic review! Looks like this should have no problem for my use case (lifting / lowering 200+ pound CRTs up to a truck tailgate).
Thanks for watching!

I can tell you that the lift table has only lifted that JD once! So far so good. Thanks for watching!
I picked up one today, and laughed when I saw how they were loading my 1000lb cart with another 1000 cart.
Thanks for the test. I am waiting for delivery of my table. Then I will try it on my Simplicity Sun Star 20hp to see if it will lift it.
I have a Sunstar as well. Thanks for watching!
SICK DEMO DUDE!
I am sold on this cart! Now if I could only find one in stock anywhere in creation!
I like it a lot. At this moment, they are in stock in Green Bay, WI. Wil be online soon. Thanks for watching!
Does anyone know if the 500 lb table the same unit but with a smaller jack or is the steel lighter also?
Can that be good for the mower to have the whole 386 lbs in the deck itself? Not sure what the JD is all resting on.
Doesn't seem to have hurt anything. Thanks for watching!
I feel like the 500lb model I have would lift that first lawn tractor pretty easily. That second one was beast mode! Pretty awesome!
Yes, first tractor is far less than 500lbs.

Ah okay. This lift is idea for repairs of anything other than riding mowers. But it can raise a lot of weight, safely, too.
I use mine to work on ATVs
seems like the John Deere pushed it too it's limit with the winter equipment
good demonstration of it's uses
Thanks for watching!

I never had a problem with mine so I can't answer your question. Sorry

If the John Deere came crashing down, I would have labeled the video "Idiots at Work" and it would have gone viral. Thanks for watching.

@@erwinerwin1245 The table is a steel top. The pedal was hard to push because of the weight. Normally it's not that hard to push on the pedal.
@@RealManSkills Thanks for that good info.
Good video, I like your john deer, wonder how much
Thanks for watching.
You need to add oil to the ram. In the video when lifting the mower your not getting the full stroke.
Does it lock at full height?

wow!!! gret video
Thanks for watching!
Gr8 vid
Thx
Dangerous.
Life is more exciting that way!
Does anyone know how much the 1000 lb. cart weighs? Wondering how difficult it would be to load it into a pickup bed. 🛻
