Since launching in 2013 Three Sides of the Coin has been viewed or listened to nearly 3,000,000 times. Three Sides of the Coin has been joined by special guests including former KISS lead guitarist Bruce Kulick, Eddie Trunk, WWE Superstar and lead singer of Fozzy Chris Jericho, Angel lead guitarist Punky Meadows, Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook, Vinnie Vincent Invasion and Slaughter lead singer Mark Slaughter, Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, comedian Craig Gass, KISS’ former business manager Chris Lendt, the Black Veil Brides' Andy Biersack, Frank Munoz associate producer for Ace Frehley's Anomaly album, award winning songwriter Adam Mitchell, Ed Kanon (Peter Criss' drum tech), Kevin Valentine (drummer on KISS' Psycho Circus album). Three Sides of the Coin was picked (October 2013) as a 'What's Hot' podcast by Apple's iTunes.
In the early '90s, Michael Brandvold launched the fifth ever website on the Internet devoted to KISS, KISS Otaku. He built, launched and maintained Kissonline.com (KISS' official web presence). He now owns Michael Brandvold Marketing, providing marketing services and digital strategy to musicians. Tommy Sommers spent 15 years on the record show circuit collecting, trading and selling memorabilia / Kiss merchandise. He is now a successful residential Real Estate agent in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area. Tommy has also produced a KISS song For The Oddfathers and is the owner of Rock Steady Digital Photography. Mark Cicchini, is a world renown KISS collector. KISS have used parts of Mark’s vast KISS collection for audio, video & print materials including their book NOTHIN TO LOSE, CD re release of the LOVE GUN album & the VH1 Ultimate Album KISS ALIVE! special as well as many other KISS projects. His wife also makes a mean meatloaf!!!

Gene stopped shipping them during the pandemic, refunded everyone who had paid to be on the waiting list, and he's never advertised this set since. They go on eBay for $1,000-1,500.

The Vault "limited Edition" is of 5000! How much crap does he have lying around to fill the things up with? $2,000 x 5000 units is $10mil bucks my friends. These cost him a maximum of $50 to make each IMHO and yes, he is laughing all the way to the bank.

This looks like something you’d find in a record store in a mall, marked down from $175 to $60. I’d give $60, but it would be for the three VH tracks. But if someone wants to spend their money on this and it makes them happy, hey, it’s their money! Enjoy👍

SAD! The most valuable thing in there is the light that comes on when you open it. Here's a ticket from a tour that nobody went to...so we got tons of those unused tickets. Here's a scarf and a coin. What a scam!!! How can you open that and say "wow...cool!"? I'd be pissed.

Michael Brandvold I'm not clueless. I appreciate your joy about the vault. I had a wing of my house dedicated to KISS merch. Had a huge collection. Was a huge fan. Sold it all though. So I'm aware of KISS fans wanting everything they can get their hands on. I once was one of those fans. But for me, I'd be pretty upset with what's in that vault. And it seems I'm not in the minority by the looks of it. If you get joy from it, that's all that matters though.

Michael Brandvold I was an avid KISS collector so I know plenty. What am I missing? I know that book comes sealed, so you obviously opened it prior to your video. If you enjoy your purchase then it's not a big deal. Just voicing my opinion on the contents. I think it's pathetic that you didn't get more, even with a meet and greet included.
You don't even pay attention... I didn't buy the Vault, I never opened the Vault. I think the Vault is too expensive. But beyond all those basic things, yeah you didn't miss anything.

I think its cool and all but agree that its over -priced for what you get...way over-priced. These should have retailed for about $400-$500. It seems there is a lot of "space" in the vault that has nothing in it....for $2k it should have come jammed pack with rare goodies and it be an actual functioning safe with a real lock. That would have been worth the $2k price.

I'm one of the biggest kiss fans, my first concert was Kiss 1976, NYC, seen them dozens of times. Reunion, New years show etc. I hope that crap didn't cost more then $299.00
Two Thousand USA $macker$. For + $25k you can also hang out with Gene in the studio for a minute, or else for + $50k Gene will personally deliver it to your home if you live in specific cities (and I'm pretty sure he'd sign it.)
I doubt these will go down in value if you were collecting items for return on investment, and KISS fans have a lot of pride in the band. To me it looks chintzy and worth making fun of, because that's too easy, but at the same time I totally get it. So the insecurity of buyers dismayed at finding a mostly empty box will fade. They'll be laughing the way to the bank vault.
At least Gene could of signed the book.... Was it worth the money Mark?

I wonder how many he will actually sell? The rather nice looking 'Kissteria' vinyl Road case from 2014 is still available and they only made 1,000 of them, and this vault is even more of a niche product.
Can’t compare those two products in anything other than their sizes. Completely different in everything else.

An unused ticket for a tour nobody had any interest in (which is why it’s unused) and a crappy scarf. You try to mask your obvious disappointment with “very cool.” No it’s not very cool, it’s garbage you paid way too much for but don’t want to admit it. I have to admire Gene Simmons, though, for convincing people to buy this stuff. He’s a very wealthy man.
Im on the fence with this. If ace is there in ny and is signing as well, then maybe it is worth it. It's a tough decision. Gene charges $120 for an autograph. Ace $30. It will be a last minute decision for me.

not going to hate .. but i put this on par with the KISS boxed set that came with book and cds and a guitar case .. and i think that was a LOT less costly .. maybe i'm wrong .. but my understanding is Gene came to deliver it ? flew to your house ? hung out ? signed stuff .. maybe that's where the cost is .. i dunno .. i guess he's marketing to an aging audience who has nothing else to splurge on .. in my opinion the KISS kruises would be a better value in that price range .. to each his own .. i'm glad you enjoy it .. and i'm sure it'll hold collectible value ..
