This is one of the things I love about your makeup style: you're not always colorful and you're not always neutral. So many creators are either known for being neutral or always being colorful. I bought That's Taupe for my friend for her birthday coming up. I don't think she has even heard of ColourPop. She's gonna love it. I bought her some of the e.l.f. Bite Size shadows last summer and she loved those. I feel like introducing her to affordable little gems is my thing now. :D
I also bought that palette for a friends birthday during the international free shipping time, as CP normally charges 10$ shipping +taxes if you order from Europe. I hope shell love it too!
Everyone needs a friend like you. 🥰 if she likes cool tones don’t forget the stone cold fox palette, and use someone’s code when you buy too. I don’t know if Lauren has one, but Karen Harris does for 10% off or if it’s a better deal Samantha March has one for five dollars off if you need one. I see which one is better for how much I’m buying.
I really enjoy Colourpop pressed & SS shadows, & not just in a "good for the price" way. However, their prices are rising pretty dramatically, they release far too much (in both volume & frequency) & far too many near-redundant colorstories, & their pressed formulas change for pretty much every release. Sometimes they're a bit drier, or more firmly pressed, or more kick up/fall out, or more silicone-y, or more pigmented, or more sheer, or more sparkly, or metallic, etc., etc. Their non-mattes esp., can vary pretty dramatically depending on the release, & it's not always forward progress. You really have to read the shade descriptions, & watch reviews to get a handle on the formula type.
They don't release too much because you don't have to buy it all and with as many releases they have something for everyone. So just control your purchases and only get what really fits your style. People bitching that they have too much selection probably can't handle the Cheesecake Factory menu, you don't have to buy and eat it all, but it's nice that they have choices for everyone.
@@MilwaukeeWoman this is a terrible take, we know that you don’t “have” to buy anything, but people who like makeup like to keep up with what’s in the market and getting overwhelmed by choices is definitely a thing that happens. It’s also bad to shift the blame of the over saturation to the consumer, when the problem is the brands that have created a system where unless you release constantly you are forgotten
The biggest headache with CP is their friggin shipping!! It takes 3 weeks for them to ship and another week to arrive. By the time you get your order, 900 releases have come out from them. I absolutely HATE it. They need to show down their releases and focus on getting their shipping together!
As someone who is fairly new to the ND world of shadows, I really appreciate the distinction you made with the difference in how the mattes work (place and blend edges versus trying to blow out or do a soft blend over the eye). You articulated precisely an issue I was having and now I know how best to work with it. Thank you so much. I do enjoy ColourPop, but the release rate is insane and I find it easier to step back, wait for a quarterly palette sale and then make a purchase. But then I run into the problem of palette overload where too much arrives at once and then none of them get the love or attention deserved. This is my cycle with CP and I've been trying to figure out how to get out of that headspace and set better limits on myself. That said, however, I have been dreaming of lust for dusk since it released and I feel confident about purchasing next time there is a sale. The new quads have gotten so much buzz, and even with the Lauren-approved stamp, I'm still finding the price point cringey. If that's the newest direction for the brand, I think it will be easier for me to stay off the ColourPop train. I recently picked up some small 6 pan palettes from Essence of all brands and the quality is truly mind-blowing. And only $4/each!!!! With drugstore stepping it up with quality and pigmentation on par (even surpassing in some cases) high-end or indie shadows, it has become easier for me to stay out of a ColourPop cycle. Since it was one of your effed-up files, I would love it if you could find a way to work in a Lust for Dusk look sometime soon. (I find such inspiration from the way you put together colors or even the way you blend. I've picked up a lot from you--for example, the way you hold a brush and the angle that you approach the eye for blending have been absolutely game-changing for me!) I always appreciate the way you get "heady" when it comes to thinking out loud about purchasing decisions and the distinction between fantasy-self and reality when it comes to makeup. There's no one in my real life that I have to talk to about these things, so I thank you for the inviting space to ramble about it in the comment section. I feel among friends. ❤️❤️❤️
The price of the quads really is kinda crappy. At least CP has sales fairly regularly, so if there’s something I want from them, I usually wait a little bit. Now I wanna try the Essence ones tho, I’ve been curious about them!
my favorite ColourPop palette is probably the child, such a unique and thought out color story. little ray of sun shine is second because it's a great companion palette to my singles
I know this video took a lot of effort and time, but I really appreciated it. The amount of thought and rationale that you analyze each palette with, rather than just saying, buy it! Even if you lost some of the footage or the audio didn't turn out, I think it would have been nice to see a picture of the That's Taupe and Lust for Dusk palettes. Especially since the latter was so high on your list. It would be awesome to see another tutorial with it!
I just love that you swatch an entire palette on your hand! It really helps me figure out if a color story is for me when it’s so compact! The bright yellow looks great on you even tho you were disappointed.
I'd love to see you explore the Misunderstood Villians palette more. I've done some gorgeous looks with it and I'm sure you'd manage even more than I did.
I have 25 Colourpop palettes. Most out of any brand I own lol I’ve noticed their quality has increased since late 2020. Edit: Lush Life is a really good summer palette, I used it and Limoncello a lot over the summer! And Going Coconuts is sooo good! I’m upset the packaging broke on me though but the shadows are still usable lol I bought it because I rarely used neutrals at the time, and this was a good way for me to feel like neutrals aren’t boring 😂 I lost her heart after I edited oh no!
I just love watching Lauren apply shadow. The way she holds the brush and blends. I could watch it all day. She also shows me how to look at my palettes in a different way. She has the best eye shape too.
I have never tried Colourpop. I almost ordered that Melrose palette (I know, so basic), and was obsessed with mulling that decision over in my mind for months, but I eventually went into my singles collection, and made myself a 9 pan color story that reduced redundancy and made me feel like I had amazing neutrals with a slight twist in my collection already, and I placed it in my prettiest magnetic palette, and now when I think of that palette, I know I have something similar, but curated for me and how I do my makeup.
Loved the video. I love colourpop. They ship to New Zealand and the variety of what was on offer is awesome. I bought a lot of the smaller and mid sized palettes which basically gave me an opportunity to really decide the colour stories that I enjoyed and where to invest my money in more accessible to me brands. I hate the volume they put out - but they're transparent about it. They're the fast-fashion of makeup. The downside is I find them enormously inconsistent in there formula and quality which is a massive pain when I'm buying from so far away.
Fast fashion clothing gets overproduced and winds up destroyed or clearanced for almost nothing. It's also usually made in overseas sweatshops. None of that is true for ColourPop. They can be responsive in how much of what they produce and are less likely to overproduce, so less stuff in landfills. And if you get tired of fast fashion clothes you can't take it apart and easily keep the parts you like, whereas you can usually be remove the pans from CP that you like. Every other makeup brand has to try to guess a year in advance what you'll like but CP can just make it as people want it. I don't think it's a fair comparison.
@@MilwaukeeWoman colourpop literally said they wanted to be/were the fast fashion in makeup. they ARE overproducing, pumping out full collections constantly, discontinuing just to rerelease alarmingly similar products in different plastic, and they don't give a shit about it. stop caping for a company that doesn't care about you and doesn't care about the planet.
Sweet choices for palettes. Truthfully I’ve never been disappointed with my purchases from them, but I’m selective with which ones I buy. I also go through my singles to make sure I don’t already have colors like that. It is a bonus that they pop out so you can rearrange things.
This was the video I have been waiting for!!!! I am so excited for all your colourpop impressions. Personally I have recently become more addicted to colourpop because I can switch the shadows out and make my custom palettes, and they’re honestly great quality for the price!! I avoid certain palettes and completely understand the colourpop frustration, but it honestly can’t be beat for so many reasons…
I'm obsessed with the little quads. I love the formula, the packaging, and the really condensed color stories. They pretty much tell me exactly what I need to do when I go to wear eyeshadow and I find myself reaching for them a lot more than anything else I own, no matter the brand. I loved the orange look you did with yours!
I love that you did this video. Your brain is just so beautiful and you are so creative with your ideas for videos and color theory as well. I am so glad that you are finally getting the recognition you deserve! More people NEED to know you. One of my favs for sure.
Loved seeing all the different looks!! Especially as I have a couple of those palettes☺️ Would you consider maybe doing some looks with the lust to dusk palette? I just received it and was really looking forward to seeing your looks/thoughts. The shimmers in that palette are so beautiful.
I order that’s taupe this week after not being able to stop thinking about it. I also got a few singles from the new hocus pocus collection…….and two palettes from odens eye. I love your late night uploads!
going coconuts was my first colourpop palette ever. that’s taupe is my absolute favorite. lust for dusk in also a favorite of mine. lush life has been on my wishlist along with a few of the astrology and ice cream quads. i’m totally glad that i happened to miss out on the misunderstood palette. do you happen to remember the lippies and highlighters you used in these looks??? i don’t see any in the description box. i’ve enjoyed every day thus far of palette week!!! 🧡🧡🧡 ps… i don’t watch your channel to “watch the every day beauty youtuber” because your channel and your uniqueness brings me soooo much more than that. 🥰🥰🥰
Heyy girl! Not to enable you but you need the LUSH LIFE. It's soo freaking good I changed a few shades and put some from other Colourpop Palettes but that palette is so good. So FREAKING GOOD. I don't know I'd I need Lust For Dusk I guess when I was in between places I lost my Going Coconuts 💔💔💔 That's Taupe is so good I'm surprised it shows up on my skintone honestly but it's so different lol. Good stuff. Hope you're well. I've been slacking on videos because they finally sent me back back work. It's only 4 hour shifts but im DYING lol. Not used to it. But once I get back to working my full-time hours I can budget for some new makeup lol. Imma wait for Black Fridsy sales.
I really thought you would have done something spectacular with the lush life pallette 😥 can you please do another look using it with all the bright beautiful colors?? 💖😍💖 any chance you at least have a picture of what you did for the lust for dusk pallette?? I'm on the fence about that one and have yet to see anyone really create an amazing look with it
I love CP and even with all the high end, luxury and Indi palettes I do have they’re still my go to. I think I’ve owned 90% of the palettes they have released over they years. 😬 The 4 pans take the guess work out of creating a look on the days I have 20 min to slap on makeup and get out the door.
The only CP palette I have is Double Entendre from years and years ago, and I just bought the Going Coconuts and the Hocus Pocus 2020 palette that was re-released, because those 2 have been on my mind for the last year! I think a majority of their new releases are pretty when I first see them, but they're out of my mind within a day or two.
Not me staying up wayyyy too late waiting for you to post this 👀😘😘 Edited to add: I’m so sorry your files were effed, that must have been stressful 😥 I bet I’m not the only one who’s still grateful to get 5 whole looks from you though!! Haven’t even seen them yet but I already know they’ll be dope ♥️
I also love the Misunderstood palette in theory-love the grungy jewel tones-but the bottom row always disappoints me. The shimmers have a dark base, which is not something I love in a duochrome shadow, because it’s hard to use in a sheer wash, it doesn’t apply over other shadows as well without getting really dark, and because my skin is more fair-light, it just always looks smokier on me than I’m going for. I do love some of the other shades, especially that green, and I was surprised at how well that navy worked as a neutral in many looks. It’s a palette I’m glad I bought because it stretched my comfort zone with regard to colorful neutrals, if that makes sense, but I do wish those deeper shades were formulated differently. Great video!
Most of the time their shimmers are pretty weak to me but I love their mattes and the colours they choose. I personally think their mattes are on par with ND fairly often. Mint to be, hi society, and wine and only are my favourite colourpop palettes and I used the single 'heiress' all summer long this year- stunning purple shade.
I remember when they started out… everything at $5…. Not a dollar more… actually had funky lip colors and different eyeshadow shades… and all the collabs where with small influencers…. I still love the super shocks tho
I love the Misunderstood palette! I’ve gone back to it over and over through the years. However, I have the opposite problem from what you experienced. I can’t really blow out my eye looks because if mine travels outside the socket area much I freak out and get out the concealer. I also have very catlike or maybe almond shaped eyes, so I can’t figure out how to carry a look up and out and follow the shape, so everything that I do is very concentrated on the lid area. 🤷♀️ I don’t know. Maybe that’s not at all why I like it and you don’t. That’s okay.
The only thing stopping me from overshopping Colourpop are the 10€ shipping (13$) + 20% taxes if you live in Europe like i do. I wish it was cheaper because in love everything I bought from them
I buy ColourPop when it’s a collab or theme AND colour story with 90% of colours I absolutely love and a product in colour and formula I was actually use and it’s the best experience for me there.
Colourpop has really crept up the prices. The new quads cost almost as much as 9-pans used to. I guess that's what they have to do to pay influencers like Trendmood and RawBeautyKristi.
Not sure the payment to influencers is what makes them charge more. I think, like how companies usually work, when the pr and collabs make them more money or their purchases increase, they will slowly crawl their prices up. All drugstore (or drugstore-priced) brands have become more expensive. And I doubt it’s due to sponsorships and paying influencers. It’s just the more exposure you get not the money you pay for the exposure. If it cost more to pay people than what they get from it, they wouldn’t be paying more people.
I really think it has more to do with CP jacking up the prices for more profit for themselves than it does paying influencers (Juvia's has been doing the same thing and some of their prices have gotten wild*). Most of CP's collab palettes are $2-4 more expensive than their standard palettes to offset the commission which is totally fine imo, and regardless the brand-wide price bump happened 7+ months after RBKs collab. *Literally Juvia's is charging $36 (?!) for their "vitamin C" serums-neither of which have great ingredients, and “C” serums like these are a huge cash grab (Dr. Dray's channel has enlightened me lol)-and on top of that their $23 16-pan palettes are now like $30 dollars. I really feel your annoyance with the pricing creep up on these once affordable brands... it's just so transparent what they're doing
Recently just found you and loved your palette declutter videos. Really like your vibe and approach to makeup. Keeping things that you love rather than just to collect things. Love to hear how you get on with some of your new palettes a few months from now. 🥰
Can't believe they released an adorable beachy Hello Kitty quad in yellow RIGHT after I ordered the matte sunflower 9-pan. Pineapple Cake might have the cute shimmers and no repetitive neutrals, but Lil Ray of Sunshine has an orange. :)
i feel like we have a lot of similar things to think about going forward! like i’ve been more into cool toned “neutrals” (they’re still kinda colorful) and not super colorful shades and i need to rmbr that i don’t need every color in my collection if its something i’m not gonna use.
I just bought blue moon because most of my collection is cool toned neutrals and grungy jewel tones. Edit: Also wanted to add that while I really want that’s taupe and stone cold fox, I still have the Naked 2 and I feel like I have a lot of similar colors.
Every day I think today she has the best eye look ever but the. Next day.. again so beautiful. Every color looks amazing on you. Your video ideas are so smart and thoughtful and different than anyone else I watch. I always look forward to hear what you have to say.. Love ❤️ 💕 💗
I love that palette, too, but I use them mostly as singles. I'm shocked that Lauren regrets it though, b/c I think the look she did is stunning! But I guess it is an older palettes, & most of the shimmers in that palette weren't CP's typical formula🤷🏻♀️.
@@NatalieValentina6 For it’s time I think it was pretty good! It’s just preference really. I love it! If they remade the palette with their updated formulas it might be a very different story lol
I am so tempted to pick up the Villains pallet. There is an importer in my country that has it (yet its inflated as hell) but I am soooo tempted regardless of the price. Also It has that purple and green that looks similar to the one in Garden Variety which were my favourite shades in that pallet while the rest of the shades look drab.
Honestly its not worth it... the fantasy of it is tempting but i couldnt do any look without it becoming muddy... the purple and the green are the only nice shades
Sometimes I think about getting a colourpop palette, love the colour story but I despise sequined shadows and pressed glitters and they put them in so often!
I love the going coconuts palette, but the snake eyes shade is one of my favorite shadows. My favorite colourpop palette is the wine and only palette 🍷 I love true red eyeshadow, and that palette is amazing. So easy to blend too. Please do a royal blue look 💙😊
Last i bought colourpop was the RBK collab so it's been almost a year.. There's a couple I'm thinking about currently but I'm waiting for a sale bc ya girl needs to save $$
Omg!!! Im here early!!! Im so excited to watch- ily lauren! Also im so happy you posted on ig :)!! can we turn palette week into a monthly thing? Or maybe bi weekly? Looove this weeks videos :D
Recently tried Colourpop for the first time!! Bought the 5 pan called Ballad. Im pretty much an amateur but this went on like a dream!! I also got several compliments!!
The only colourpop palettes I had was dream st, good sport, and then I have a few full size singles. I kept about half of the shadows from each of those palettes and use them A LOT! I kind of like the thought of getting Lush Life and Limoncello to pop out and pad out my collection
I used to migrate towards warmer tones (browns and orange rusty tones) but they are not at all flattering on me. I can wear browns but ones that are cooler/neutral to a little warm, not overly warm. I can also wear some lighter orange/tangerine colors but that's about it. Warm pinks especially look terrible on me. I do have both the Taupe and Coconuts palette and like them a lot, cooler tones are more flattering on me. And Coconuts is right in the middle. The look for the Coconuts palette you did is very nice.
I like Colourpop mattes, the shimmers are usually just ok, except a few of the super flaky duochromes which I love (Mr. Sandman from the It's My Pleasure palette is soooo good - I keep stalking the site to see if the single shadow of that is back in stock). But, they make a great base to pop one of my super sparkly (but sheer) indie shadows or a supershock on top. It's Taupe is a great running-late/no-thought-required palette for me, the colors make my greeny yellow eyes pop (works great as a base for JD Glow Unexpected). And it helped me not be tempted by Natasha Denona's Glam palette!
Idk if it’s changed now but back when I bought the single of sandman it was different from the sandman in the IMP palette. Also I bought another palette that had sandman in it (it was a ulta release only palette I can’t remember what the palettes name is at the moment) and that one was also different from the single and from the IMP palette. The one I liked the most out of all three was the mr sandman in the IMP palette, it was the most sparkly one out of all three, the single was less sparkly, and the one in the ulta palette was even less sparkly but had more of a shift that went to blue.
Lauren... the Lush Life palette look is soooo similar to the Triple Scoop palette. Why oh why? 😔 I swear I thought you were going to to a super colorful look with the Lush Life palette.
I picked up lush life, but rearranged the whole palette to make it make sense for me. I like using the blue and green for eyeliner. I usually skip the CP releases. But got sucked in and picked up the hocus pocus palettes. I tend to wait for sales and think about if I'm really going to use it and if I have a purpose for it.
Hi Lauren. The only Colourpop makeup I have is the Blue Moon palette bc there are a lot of blues that I haven’t seen anywhere else and i mostly use them over liner to get a bright blue look. The release schedule is insane and it looks like they are constantly duping the selves-exhausting to follow
I really love the 9 pans from Colourpop... Going Coconuts is a big favorite, as is the Honey palette (I think it's the superior yellow palette in the CP family). Also love Wine and Blowin Smoke. I have only ventured out of that format for the Kathleen Lights collab palettes and one 5 pan, none of which I've enjoyed as much as the 9 pan format.
I like the Cancer quads I got from their zodiac collection. It does make me want to buy other quads from the same line, but I have to just keep telling myself that I bought the Cancer one because it had the color story I liked the most! I DON'T NEED any of the others!
Throwing in my opinion on CP palettes. ColourPop dupes themselves all the time, which is annoying for me. They throw in pops of color or make a color story with shades that are just the tiniest different in shade or tone. One of the main things that keeps me watching the brand and mulling over purchases is the fact that their palettes with round pans are magnetic and I actually like the smaller pan size in the majority of their premade palettes. I know that now some of their twelve pans have a larger pan size - why? 🙄 I feel like by purchasing premade palettes I can add them to my singles collection in a pan size that feels like I can actually use it up. But then I would still be collecting the same handful of neutrals with every palette I purchase and because of their frequency of releases I will never make it through a single pan of shadow. 🤷🏻♀️ So I loved your thoughts about looking at it for the colorstory they create instead of breaking it into singles because I could justify buying palettes for the purpose of singles all the time.
Stone Cold Fox and In The Mood are on their way to me. Bought for 24 each on colourpop’s site. Nice sale! I have Going Coconuts (which I love too) but tend to reach for WetnWild’s Always Naked palette more. I’ve been using that one every day! I love a neutral eye but with a Big pop of color added like a brilliant teal, green or purple. Did I miss your tutorial on that rainbow eye? I thought you were going to show that but I haven’t seen it. It’s the look from maybe three weeks ago? 🥰
My issue with ColourPop is they release so often that they discontinue things and sell out of stuff so quickly. I'm a cautious consumer, so I take my time to purchase new items. But it feels like I don't have that option with ColourPop, anything remotely interesting is here and gone super quickly. It's hard to keep up. I still appreciate the things I own from them but I would like them a lot more if the releases were more thoughtful and stuck around longer.
I have a few colourpop things I love (brow boss pencil, good sport palette, a concealer) but for the most part I have been disappointed by everything else I've purchased. I generally tend to stay away, although the releases can be tempting.
I had resisted trying colourpop because I thought I'd want everything that they were dropping but I caved in a month ago when they had a good sale aaaaand I think the quality is...okay, what I like the most is how tiny they are, feels like I could someday go through one lol
Hi Lauren, What are you wearing on your lips during the Going Coconuts, Lush, and Misunderstood pallets applications? It's beautiful. Thanks for this enjoyable video!
CP eyeshadows just don't last on me & I can never really get great depth from their palettes. I think their winner is the Super Shock line, both eyes & cheek. If you just need the basics from your makeup, CP is a perfectly serviceable brand at affordable prices that provides variety & very cute packaging.
My Going Coconuts had soooo much kick up in the mattes and fall out with the shimmers even with my finger. I was pretty disappointed. Maybe I’m spoiled with what I like for eyeshadow? Maybe I got a dud?

Those essence palettes are unreal. So so so good!!!!
my favorite ColourPop palette is probably the child, such a unique and thought out color story. little ray of sun shine is second because it's a great companion palette to my singles
Those are my favorite ColourPop palettes by far. They are also the only 2 CP palettes I haven’t rearranged in some way.
Ooh I would love to see you rearranging & mixing some Colourpop palettes!
I recently lost my kids father this week and your videos have been such a sense of comfort I love pallet week
Deepest sympathy to your and your children.
The blush with that yellow look is soooo beautiful
I’m a colourpop junkie too❤️I’m up to 33😱not every palette is great but I agree Lush Life is probably their best quality 2021!!👍🏼
Lauren, I just noticed that you are getting close to reaching 100k subscribers!!!! So happy for you!!!!
I just love watching Lauren apply shadow. The way she holds the brush and blends. I could watch it all day. She also shows me how to look at my palettes in a different way. She has the best eye shape too.
She’s such a master of shimmer too!!!
The yellow on you came across beautifully on camera. Looks stunning on you
You make al the bright crazy colors seem so wearable. Looks turned out nice!
Video has just started and I have to say…that eyeshadow and top look so dang good together!
Yes! Now I want that palette just for that purple!
Yes, Going Coconuts, she's my favourite too!
All the looks you did were absolutely gorgeous! You did such a beautiful job!❤❤
I like to combine the orange and yellow quads from the Hello Kitty collection. They make really nice looks!
I would REALLY be interested in a video where you take specifically all of your colourpop singles and make your "perfect" colourpop color story
ps… i don’t watch your channel to “watch the every day beauty youtuber” because your channel and your uniqueness brings me soooo much more than that. 🥰🥰🥰
@@agirlyhasnoname oh lush life is ABSOLUTELY on my black friday list!!! thank you so much for the insight. i truly appreciate it.
I really thought you would have done something spectacular with the lush life pallette 😥 can you please do another look using it with all the bright beautiful colors?? 💖😍💖 any chance you at least have a picture of what you did for the lust for dusk pallette?? I'm on the fence about that one and have yet to see anyone really create an amazing look with it
So excited for a week of Colourpop! I love it, I am here for it, I firmly believe they make such great gems!
I love CP and even with all the high end, luxury and Indi palettes I do have they’re still my go to. I think I’ve owned 90% of the palettes they have released over they years. 😬
The 4 pans take the guess work out of creating a look on the days I have 20 min to slap on makeup and get out the door.
Not me staying up wayyyy too late waiting for you to post this 👀😘😘
Edited to add: I’m so sorry your files were effed, that must have been stressful 😥 I bet I’m not the only one who’s still grateful to get 5 whole looks from you though!! Haven’t even seen them yet but I already know they’ll be dope ♥️
Yes something to keep me awake during night shift!
I appreciate your thoughts on consumerism and making wise and useful purchases.
Well now I need a neon lemon yellow blouse. So there’s that.
What? Their shimmers are actually the best to me lol
@@RoKer13 💁 my favourite shimmer formula is clionadh, ND gold palette shimmers or give me glow shimmers. Depends on what you want I guess!
i agree. their shimmers are kind of like satin shades
@@luckeygirl023 exactly! Some aren't but a lot are and satins are not quite my jam
@@luckeygirl023 I agree. Definitely more satin than shimmer
I remember when they started out… everything at $5…. Not a dollar more… actually had funky lip colors and different eyeshadow shades… and all the collabs where with small influencers…. I still love the super shocks tho
Her makeup just makes me surprised everyone. I don't think any youtuber could do looks like you do that is so attractive and also v Suttle... love it
ahhh!! best part of tonight was seeing you posted ❤️❤️
Thank you for palette week! I have been looking forward to your videos everyday!
Haha of course the 2 I was super excited to see your looks with (since I own them/want them) are the ones that were corrupted 😭
The only thing stopping me from overshopping Colourpop are the 10€ shipping (13$) + 20% taxes if you live in Europe like i do. I wish it was cheaper because in love everything I bought from them
You can wait until they have their site wide sales to save a bit
I always wait for free international shipping over and buy then. It's pretty often joint with different offers.
I buy ColourPop when it’s a collab or theme AND colour story with 90% of colours I absolutely love and a product in colour and formula I was actually use and it’s the best experience for me there.
Yes, make that purchase check every single box!
They might need more money to attract employees, they are taking forever to ship right now and there's a labor shortage.
I think it’s more a quality thing, because their eyeshadow formula has gotten so much better.
Everything, from food to makeup is more expensive due to Covid. Have to pay employees more, supply chain issues, etc
That orange look came out so beautiful! Also it was hard to think you only used a quad for it ! It looked so much more complicated - in a good way 👍🏻
I love Going coconuts over the taupe one too! It really is my favorite and I wear it all the time!
I have both That’s Taupe and Stone Cold Fox and I think Stone Cold Fox is a much better palette for quality and usability.
Yes Lauren no need to put so much pressure on yourself loved every look. Thank you for palette week.
The blues and greens in the lush life do really draw me though...
I have this palette and it's so good qaulity
@@lanaesworld6976 I bought it too-agree quality’s awesome! Think one of their best for 2021!!!
Every day I think today she has the best eye look ever but the. Next day.. again so beautiful. Every color looks amazing on you. Your video ideas are so smart and thoughtful and different than anyone else I watch. I always look forward to hear what you have to say.. Love ❤️ 💕 💗
Lauren!!! Thank you so much for how much you put into every video. You’re so inspiring!!!
this was such a great video ❤️
Low Key I love the Missunderstood palette😂 Flotsam is my favorite shade🥰
I love that palette, too, but I use them mostly as singles. I'm shocked that Lauren regrets it though, b/c I think the look she did is stunning! But I guess it is an older palettes, & most of the shimmers in that palette weren't CP's typical formula🤷🏻♀️.
@@NatalieValentina6 For it’s time I think it was pretty good! It’s just preference really. I love it! If they remade the palette with their updated formulas it might be a very different story lol
You are SO GORGEOUS! Your looks are right up my alley. That yellow look new me away!
Yesss so glad Going Coconuts worked out well for you, I really love it!
Their new quads in clear packaging seem to be glued in? I don’t like that dip in quality.
Sometimes I think about getting a colourpop palette, love the colour story but I despise sequined shadows and pressed glitters and they put them in so often!
They must have gotten the message because there was no pressed glitters in the last five palettes I've gotten from them.
@@MilwaukeeWoman now if only they'd ditch the sequin shadows :P
I’m loving palette week!
I love the going coconuts palette, but the snake eyes shade is one of my favorite shadows. My favorite colourpop palette is the wine and only palette 🍷 I love true red eyeshadow, and that palette is amazing. So easy to blend too. Please do a royal blue look 💙😊
For the triple scoop quad on first impressions...I need to know that lip. It looks so gorgeous.
five looks and you apologize for not having 7! You are a gift
Ooooh I love this video concept of a full week of *insert brand!!
Thanks for the video! I like the looks. If I picked between 'going coconuts' or 'that's taupe,' I'd get that's taupe.
Last i bought colourpop was the RBK collab so it's been almost a year.. There's a couple I'm thinking about currently but I'm waiting for a sale bc ya girl needs to save $$
I’m not much of an eyeshadow person, but I did recently pick up the lush life palette and am liking it so far
The look for the Coconuts palette you did is very nice.
love your 1 shadow looks. lol I dont have the time or patience to blend 4,5 colors together so I appreciate your simple looks.
@@KagomeYasha023 Thanks for the info!
Lauren... the Lush Life palette look is soooo similar to the Triple Scoop palette. Why oh why? 😔
I swear I thought you were going to to a super colorful look with the Lush Life palette.
I just bought the going coconut and some super shock shadows, so glad it's your number 1 😍
Yesterday I wore yellow eyeshadow for the first time! Go me! It was from the Limoncello palette.
I forgot blowing smoke, that palette is bomb I use it loads in the winter!
Looks like it was a month ago. From the Top beauty products I am loving video. I want that rainbow eye! I’m 58 and don’t give a damn! Hahahaha!
Going coconuts is my absolute favorite palette!
Paused the video to go buy the orange quad ! You look stunning 😍 🧡
I’ve let go Colourpop eyeshadow as you said 😄 so this review of older palettes are fascinating
Maybe I got a dud?
oooh loved this! what's that gloss you're wearing when you used Going Coconuts?
