Love this couple
Going through the amusement park then when you get to the boss and it starts singing this song, one of my favorite moments i've ever experienced in a video game.
This scene tore me up omg. I cried for 3 days after watching this. We all know that cloud loves tifa & aerith. But there’s just something so bittersweet and sorrowful about the bond that he has with aerith. Almost like a love that could’ve happened but couldn’t because of fate 😭
Her entire bond with Cloud is "Zack replacement". That's why she never takes it too far with Cloud, she never tries to kiss him. She likes him so much because he's the closes thing to Zack she can get because he's literally pretending to be Zack. His mind is jacked up, he doesn't know who he is, he gets occasional flashbacks of real memories, mostly involving Tifa and he gets flashbacks of memories that never happened, like the one where he visited his mom in Nibelheim, that one never happened, he asked Zack to go with him to visit his mom but then Sephiroth burned the village down. Basically, what i'm saying is, Aerith loves Zack. Aerith does say a few times that she wishes she could meet the "real" Cloud because she knows this Cloud is just pretending to be Zack.

@@ChrisTian-sd5yq Don't know who you were responding to but if it's me, in og ff7 after Tifa fixes Clouds mind, he later gets the group together and tells them he made up his persona based on his soldier friend Zack.
If Aerith prefers Zack, why didn't she just give the white materia to Cloud straightaway and bring Zack to her dream date? You know Zack is still there somewhere and Aerith can move him around if she wished to.
There's literally nothing said, implied, or suggested that Aerith can move people around from different timelines.
@@coreymartin6486 Really? What about Cloud being in the dream date, Zack being guided by the yellow flowers to join Cloud in the Sephiroth fight, and Zack escaping a doomed world after the final fight?
@@coreymartin6486 And the point is, when Cloud and Zack are there, Aerith chose to date Cloud in her dream. However you feel about “move people around timeline” thing, the date is there as it is.
Because this wasn’t about what Aerith wanted.
Aerith is playing 4d chess with a sadistic piece of shit, and if she does have the ability to move Zack around, it’s presumed that he’s where he needs to be for the final fight of this game.
