Can you briefly tell me about your past experience, your comfort zone in DevOps, and your day-to-day responsibilities? Just give me an overview
Can you explain what Git is?
Do you know if Git is a centralized or distributed version control system?
Do you have experience with Azure and GitHub repositories? What is the difference between them?
Is it possible to integrate Azure DevOps with a GitHub repository?
In your organization, do you primarily use GitHub or Azure Repos for your repositories?

Great Vinod. Start looking for some startups as MNCs would not.prefer candidate with gaps. Be active on LinkedIn and talk to recruiters. One more option is freelancing for 6 months to 1 year.

Hi Rakesh, You should start with some startup that accepts the gap or a freelancing job

I have been working on Kubernetes , Docker , Gitab CI, Jenkins CI , linux shell scripting from last 2 years .. Prior to that I have 2.5 years exp in Automation Testing . I dont work on Terraform , Ansible , Grafana these tools as i did not get those opportunity ..... So basically my question is what exactly interviewers look for in candidate as DevOps engineer that they should be knowing all these tools ?? .... Learning is different and having hands on exp in real time project is different . So I asked . And whats better DevOps or Automation Testing ???
Atleast try to learn the basics of all the mandatory devops skills.

You missed the question what is the different between azure classic pipeline vs yaml pipeline..
Some applicants they know how to answer the questions of interviewer, but in the real world they don't know how to execute those answers. That's the reality in the IT world.

Hi Abhishek, i am DevOps Engineer with only 1 Yrs exp , and i answer similar types of Question in my interview with persistent systems with only 1 yrs exp , still i was not selected, it feels very disappointed when you answer 85 Percent correct answers and still don't get selected, are Panels technical interviews wants everything to be knowing from candidate with just 1 yrs exp?

you asked about the deployment manifest , but he answered saying he edits his dockerfile in VS Code . I am unclear here - what is this kubernetes manifest and why isnt this in the ifrastructure itselt ?
Kubernetes manifests can be stored in Git and can be cloned and edited in VS Code. This can be any simple manifest as Deployment file or Configmap

I am working at cognizant with 6yrs exp first 2 years worked as system engineer then from 2018 working with monitoring tools (maestro,Autosys? .I wanted to move into aws ,devops line .In 2021 joined course for aws and devops . I was clear with aws teaching but no one knows about devops properly tutors even does not knw anything . I am stuck and need help in learning devops.

Hi Guru, No your experience will count. You should apply for 5 experience jobs but mention your DevOps experience as 0-1 years

Hi, how valuable are certifications like KCNA, CKA, CKAD etc and open source internships like gsoc, lfx and outreachy at cncf?

Personally I am not so much into certifications and in Indian market they are not given as much importance as in the u.s market. But they will definitely add up to your profile.
Saying that, If your organization is reimbursing your certifications, you should definitely give a try.
Coming to CNCF internships, conferences or anything related to CNCF will be very useful.
@@AbhishekVeeramalla by certifications, I mean certificates which charge money for an exam. Like the ones listed above by me are exam certifications from cncf. Similarly, exam certifications like "Google cloud certified cloud engineer" certificate (which has an exam)
