I suddenly remember the first time J watched Bang Dream. When Kasumi talks about kira kira doki doki feeling, the beating of the stars, i thought "ahh yess, the punch line for the main character that supposed to be funny and inspiring in some way". At first, me and my sister took that kirakira dokidoki talks as somewhat of a joke. But as we venture deeper to the world of Bang Dream, more importantly my sister who even searches the history of this project, their seiyuus, their life, carreer and etc, I started to feel the kirakira dokidoki talks is no joke. It is real. Bang Dream's stories use a lot of the seiyuus real lif story. Like how the initial BanG_Dream Project was still only 3 members, Aimi, Ayasa and Rimi which shown in the anime where Kasumi, Arisa, and Rimi are the first 3 member of Popipa. Their first live show in a live house where the recording shows exactly the same vibe of Glitter Green's performance that inspires Kasumi to start a band. Kasumi felt kirakira dokidoki when she watched Glitter Green on Space, and I cannot lie that I also felt that when I watched highlights of their very first live show. The flyers that were still handwritten and photocopied, the Yes Bang Dream song CD that doesnt have a cover but signed with Aimi, Ayasa, and Rimi. And then Saechi and Ayaka joined the band later just like how Tae and Saaya joined the band later in the anime. How Aimi lost her voice on the concert, just like Kasumi did and many more. If Glitter Green was the band that started Kasumi's band journey in the anime, then real life Poppin Party definitelt started the other real life band carreer as well. They are the trailblazers, the pioneer, the Glitter Green in the real life. Rikopin (Lock) was a fan of Aimi, she watched one of the first BanG_Dream live shows. When Sae has joined Popipa, Raychell was also watching their concert. Same goes for Reochi and Tsumu2. They initially watch Popipa, and now they stand on the same stage with Popipa along with Roselia, Morfonica and the others. Started from a live house, they now perform in Fuji Q highland, concert halls (that i dont remember the name), Nippon Budokkan, even Met Life. Started from probably maximum of 100 people with glowsticks, now thousand of people waving their glowsticks in sync on their live shows. The way how those glowsticks flickered from the stage POV, it kinda resembles the twinkling and sparkling stars in the night sky. Felt like kirakira dokidoki if you ask me. And most of that, both Kasumi (and Aimi) walked through this amazing journey with her friends, her loved friends. Remember in S3 when Asuka asks Kasumi what is kirakira dokidoki really ment? She means her friends who worked hard with her along the journery that made everything kirakira dokidoki. Knowing all these, if you ask me, i certainly feel the beat of the stars in my heart
I wish you were the official voice; you fit it so perfectly!! You really fit this type of anxious of excited sort of character well!
If they ever decided to dub BanG Dream's anime, I would nominate you for Kasumi.
