Have 200 games with Thamuz (1300 fighter games) and sadly Thamuz aint good bro, nerf on s1 did him dirty and thats not all, he has no dmg reduction, VERY bad cc (his s1 cant always trigger, it needs to pass through enemies too to be decent), cant extend the cc, HORRIBLE spell vamp (terizla, alpha, zhong all have immense spell vamp) and most of all, is sadly reliant on using basic attacks in order to sustain which is really bad. If Thamuz gets stunned for even a second in lategame he missed an opportunity to recover 2k hp right there, losing a lot of sustain in return. Terizla's skill 2 as well as Alpha's skill 2 are resistant to cc and will heal them up in most situations, while Thamuz cannot afford that. Both fighters have ults that can extend the cc or take a break from burst and make some space for cooldowns to recover, keeping them in a fight while thamuz cannot pause inspire from marksmen in lategame, taking more damage than he'd like. Its really sad indeed and all he needs to be GREAT is if his 2nd skill would apply 1s stun. Just to have a small break from all the burst and heal up modestly. Trust me, stronger cc is a very important factor.

As a tank main i use hp (late game the best choice) and physical def % (phys dmg more dangerous). Now you can either use Tenacity (1st talent) for more tankiness or Concussive Blast (3rd) for a bit more burst to help your team in a fight. Up to you bro.
here is the tip if your a roamer just build all tanky item there is no point for a tank to do damage if you just kill steal everytime your teammate are gonna lag behind plus even grock with full damage he get counter by magical enemy or physical hero that build malferic roar which heavily affect his tankiness with the full damage build
