I have a Böker that came in pretty much the same way. I smoothed it out with paste on flat balsa and shaved quite a while with it. Performance really jumped up when I actually honed it.
@@billm.2677 I figure that a factory edge is generally done quickly. If you are accustomed to doing your own honing it’s probably always the case you will prefer your own edge.
Bad honing😢😮😵 in that way you will concave the cutting edge. Nevertheless you should have reset the blade from 1000k if you want change the blade totally! Modify with a natural stone is the worst thing you could do! A simple 10k was better!🎉 and faster!
