I remember a few years ago, PIA launched a "Premier" service between Heathrow and ISB/LHR, wet leasing an A333 from SriLankan Airlines. However, that venture failed horribly, despite there being such a huge diaspora in the UK. Still, that aircraft had an excellent business class product from what I remember, thought still, it was what SriLankan Airlines offered - lie-flat beds and functioning IFEs. Even a decent economy layout. With PIA out of Europe for the time being, I guess Toronto - KHI,LHR,ISB is currently PIAs longest route. Sad to see the greatest airlines of the golden age of aviation having been reduced to what it is now. I believe PIAs only direct international destinations are now in the Middle East, Istanbul, Toronto, or Kuala Lumpur. Anyways, great review!
I did a 13 hour flight from delhi to chicago without working screen. I managed by looking out of the window and chatting. However, this was a day flight so imagine the difficulties, without enough lighting to see outside for the entire journey...
