Unfortunately she won’t 😐 i said the same thing on a previous video especially since a lot of people don’t have Instagram to watch her “older” model tours. She works for this dealership so I’m sure she doesn’t do used car tours because they’re afraid it won’t bring them business like new cars will ☹️ just what I think. RUclips is such a huge platform, I don’t like she only caters to brand new cars.
@@user-mo3cs7fx7y most car reviewers only review new cars... If you search "2015 Nissan armada review" for example, you will find videos from 6 years ago when that vehicle was new. Also unless a manufacturer has introduced a new generation of a vehicle, they don't change THAT much from year to year. Hence these mom perspective videos will still be helpful when looking at cars just few years older.
I’m loving how you have worked on saying “center console.” 🤣😉 I do love how you point out things I NEVER would have thought about or considered when buying a car as a mom (i.e. sliding seats, car seat tilt, etc). Love it!!
Love love love your reviews!! It is so hard to see the interior when you do black. Is there any way you could choose the lighter interior colors when you do the review? 😬🙏🏼
Wish we knew about you before we bought a car this year! Love your reviews with an honest family oriented perspective. We actually bought the 2021 Armada SL. We are really pleased with it other than the 3rd row seat leg room, but we knew that when we bought it. Looked at the Yukon with better rear leg room, but for the options we wanted and the difference in what dealers were willing to do with price and financing, the Armada was almost 10K cheaper, so we felt like a better choice for us. I feel like it's more like a luxury car without a luxury price tag. For anyone considering it, I think it's worth looking at! (PS- I don't think the SV model has actual leather seats. It's "leatherette" which I think is synthetic. The SL and Platinum versions have leather). Also love having the sunroof and extra safety features on the SL, particularly the all around camera. That's a game changer on any vehicle!
Got the 2022 pathfinder sv..sliding second row gives alot of room to second row and third also..love this vehicle. Third row reclining is a cherry on top
I have literally binge watched all of your videos. 22 years old, gay, and don't plan on having kids and you've got me wondering if the uppababy mesa is gonna fit rear facing 😭😭😭 I love your videos
Infiniti QX56/QX80 is effectively the same as the Armada in everything except the top trim level where you get the HBMC hydraulic suspension system. Unless you get the top touring package QX it is almost exactly the same vehicle the Armada. The other difference is the QX80 is mapped for premium fuel. Armada is mapped for Regular unleaded and get slightly less HP. Qx80 is 400, Armada is 390
@@krymsix574 great to know. Hey how does that different suspension in the QX ride? And does that feature end up draining the wallet in repairs? Thanks!
This video was great for families looking for a new car. I just wish it came out earlier when I was looking at the Armada it would have been quite useful.
Love your reviews! I’d love to see an Audi Q3/Q5, Volvo XC40/XC60 or Toyota RAV4. I get the appeal of the larger SUVs, but I live in an urban area, park on the street a lot when I go to work, and my husband’s Explorer hangs about a foot and a half into the sidewalk when he parks in our small driveway (just fits my Fusion).
I work for a Ford dealer and have always drooled over these cars... but can't purchase since I work for Ford. Glad I watched this... I can stop the drooling now.
You mentioned the QX80 is the exact same size as the Nissan Armada. I’ve driven an Armada since 2008 and have LOVED it for hauling kids and big dogs. I just test drove a QX 80 and it seemed much smaller. Has the new Armada lost interior size as well? Thx for your reviews! Love them as now a new grandma hauling babies with car seats once again. 💕
Would you really recommend this car for moms though? I understand most full-sized SUVs are considered mom cars but this SUV seems to be on a sporty/can do everything side rather than focused on convivence for car moms. I'm only asking because I'm looking into sporty suvs that are affordable. Great video btw!
It’s good for moms. They drive it all the time. It’s a bit sluggish which is good for them. The shorter moms just go for a 4Runner I’ve seen (my context is the UAE).
My husband and I just recently purchased a car with the button shifter, and I thought I would really hate it, but I completely converted within 24 hours. I like being able to physically shift into gear, but the buttons just open up SO MUCH SPACE. I never want to go back. 😅
Same for me. But you will hate it when you make a mistake and spill a cup of soda ir Starbucks and it falls on the buttons and goes inside those push buttons. It has happened to a friend of mine already.
This was a great realistic review. I wish you would spend some time reviewing the info system since this was a big update. But I love how you show the price and the options at the end of your videos. I was surprised to hear about the low safety ratings. It may be because of how old the design of this car is and Nissan has not been able to keep up with new insurance standards. Some manufacturers will always tweak something every year to keep up with current insurance standards in order to get the highest ratings. Usually these are meaningless issues in my opinion. It is not like they are inventing ABS brakes or similar. This car should be safe regardless what the insurance ratings show. However, the ratings on the rollover should be investigated more. I've been a fan of Armada for years but it always fell short of even far less expensive cars for one reason or another. Still not giving up on it.This is an improvement over the old version which came with no modern tech at all. A used one with low miles may show up in couple of years worth or reconsidering.
Ok most of this is superficial nonsense. Lets see number one issue. Reliability…Nissans go for ever and maintenance is a pittance against competition. No.2 Practicality!!’not apple play!?!? Ffs is it large enough for 2 adults up front and three kids in the back (with or with out baby seats) as demonstrated yes. Enough room for 3 teens or two old grand parents in the rear?? Yes! But lets be honest most times that third row will be down and the back will be full with strollers and sports gear and groceries etc. and it can haul a damn boat. No. 3 safety. Don’t care what some car report says. Other drivers don’t mess with large SUV’s. Trust me they will come off far worse than you will. Competition: American cars rust!!! All look like GM products and have cheap plastics on the faux leather/wood interiors. New Lincolns are v nice but not $80K plus nice!! Cadillac are America’s answer to Range Rover and maintenance is awful. Suburbans are waaay over priced and rust. The list goes on and on. Im not try to say the armada is perfect because its not but what it is is a good deal for what you get and it will run for ever if u treat it right. Gas milage does suck but gas prices are where they are because of who was voted into office.
So sad I was really liking the exterior look and had higher hopes! Did they change the middle console btwn the capt seats to come out or not be an option at all? Hated that when shopping that it wasn’t removable! Totally defeats the purpose of cpt seats and kids easily accessing the 3rd row!
I just finished car shopping and did look at the Explorer. I’d recommend watching her review of the VW Atlas. Same size as the Explorer but feels much roomier. Also I felt that the interior of the Explorer looked cheap and thrown together. Atlas is same price range and her review sold me on the Atlas! We love it!
Coincidentally we picked up the Armada as a rental yesterday (with captains). I wholeheartedly agree with this tour. Seats are super comfy but there is no real access to third row and for such a huge car there is a lot of wasted space. Also, the 👎🏻 MPG and safety ratings are disappointing. Great tour as always Kelly!
I test drove a 2019 Armada and the size of the seats was one of the biggest turn offs for me. I felt like I was driving a couch. I’m glad they’ve updated it a bit. It felt old and outdated in an ‘19
I love that blue exterior option, and all my carseats are seatbelt installs, so that doesn't bother me, but it's 2021. No one wants horrible gas milage and low safety ratings. I'm glad you did this review and more of the full sized SUV reviews. As the kids start getting older space for activities, road trips, camping gear, plus three kid's stuff is pushing us into unknown territory, ha.
I personally am not a fan of that leather ruching. To me it always looked like damaged leather, I didn’t know that was made that way 😅. As for the shifter. I’m team stick shifter. Did y’all notice the double spaced “armada” on the interior console? Is case you forget what you’re driving 💀.
@the_car_mom Hi, thanks for doing those reviews. What car would you recommend or which cars can fit 3 car seats that can fit in the back seats without using 3rd row.
Damn 13 mpg! 🤯 I mean, I’m pretty sure the next gen Expedition will have the hybrid engine from the nee F150 and when you have 13 vs 24 mpg… I mean, Nissan should launch the next gen Armada ASAP!! No kidding, the interior looks old, and that thing about safety! Damn! They need a completely new car right now!
Would lovvvveee a video on used (like 2015 and up) mom approved suvs! Love the new car reviews too but that’s just not in the budget😂

You can find those on Edmunds. 2018 on is the way to go, based on the international Nissan Patrol.
Ex-rental 2020 or 2021 Armadas are on sale from enterprise or hertz at 50% their original MSRP.
What's the point, those reviews are already everywhere.

Can you please do a Honda Pilot or CRV? 🥺🥺
Yes, seconding this!
Love all your videos! Would love to see a review on the 2021 Chevy Tahoe
Can you pleaseeee do a review on the Honda Pilot and Honda CRV? Thank you!!! Love your videos.
I just love your style! I mean you’re such an everyday person
Great 👍🏾 job! Don’t change...it’s working. Be You 😉
thank you for your kind words! I appreciate it!

Hi Kelly, looking forward to see if these bugs have been fixed in the new one. You've been very informative, bless you

"gas mileage WOOF" great personality lol excellent review this was a thorough honest breakdown

How much does the Infinity badge cost? I am not that handy but could probably switch it out…
Not Old Navy starting at $57k MSRP 😳

Any chance on a review of the Land Rover Discovery Sport? 😬🤞🏼

Ford Explorer 2021! I watched the 2020 on insta-tv but would love to see full video on 2021 with captains chairs!

I would love to see a Lexus RX and Cadillac XT5 and XT6!!
The metal on these cars is very thin and shows paint chips very easy, very cheap. Other that, good value.
So glad I watched this!! I wanted one so bad... now not so much 😑
