I tan my body with the jergens and for my face I just use the leg makeup spray with a facial moisturizer and apply blending into the neck as well. It doesn't mess up my skin which is pretty acne prone even though its been clear for a while. When i was a waitress and wouldn't always have time to do a self tanner, I would use the leg makeup with lotion all over before going to work. Everyone used to say what nice legs I had and how they were always so tan.
Aw yay!! Hope you love it!! I never moisturize directly before...I just wait until after. If you do want to moisturize before, just make sure to wait until it is completely absorbed! : )
Tips and tricks to get it to stay longer I’m crevices? I’m a little bit of a chunky dunk, my underboobs and thighs wear off super fast and makes me super self conscious especially during the summer.
Hi! I would just make sure to get an even coating everywhere and then moisturize a lot to keep it from drying out! Since this tan isn't crazy dark its super easy to just reapply a little more wherever to touch up certain areas if it does start to fade in spots. I'm sure you will look AMAZING! : )
Carrie Barcus-Peters hi! I’m an extremely pale person and also a bigger girl. I use this product like once a week but I use another jergens product that is a moisturizer that builds up color over time. I use that every night to every other night to keep up with the tan and I find that works well for me.
Apply baby powder to the area that is prone to creasing after you apply the tan! It is super good for creasing, I use baby powder for my arm creases and underboobs.
Thank you!!! I just bought the NEW Jergens Instant Sun in ULTRA DEEP TAHITI TAN.... this is THE BEST!!! Much better than the darkest one they use to have. Try it!! Hugs, Tammy from Mesa, AZ
Thanks for posting this, it was super helpful! How long does a bottle of the Instant Glow usually last you if you're using it on your arms, legs, and body?
Thanks for the info in this video , I have very pale skin and have to stay out of the sun because I have had Melanoma 3 times I will have to try this product .... Much love from West Virginia ....
Great tips, I used the mouse for the first time, I read the instructions, and it never said to rinse off, which I really needed to do! Thanks, I will try it again, and rinse!!!
You need to use Bondi so much better and looks like dark tan. You can get it from Amazon and Walgreens. So natural looking but put lotion on first and let dry.
I have not tried the 3 days to glow, but I would definitely recommend this self tanner! It's honestly perfect for pale skin because the color is natural and not crazy dark. Just start with one coat and you can always do more. : )
Hey there! I always shave right before that way I can go a few days without doing it and try to avoid it as long as possible since it does seem to lighten the tan. Shaving won't completely ruin your tan though or make it look patchy-just lightens it some : )
hey! how long do you leave the jergens tanner on your face? im going to leave it on my body for about 4 ish hours and rinse it off. i know it doesn’t necessarily need to be taken off but i don’t want my face to look like a super fake tan haha
Hi!! I leave it on my face the same amount of time I do on my body. I just apply a lighter amount or sometimes I mix a little with my moisturizer so it's a little diluted. Hope that helps! : )
i’m graduating and need a tan. i’m wearing a tight white dress and never have self tanned before. i just need it for one day would you reconsider fully self tanning or just the sally hansen on the morning of ? would it rub off on my white dress?
I would do the self-tan! I love the sally hansen but have worn it with white shorts and have noticed a little bit coming off..not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. Congratulations on your graduation!!
Can I use this to even out my tan I got an awkward tan line and have a party to go to if I use it on just the lighter parts could I blend it into my normal tan
i have this tanner but i’m really nervous to use it for prom, i’m worried it won’t come out even or i’ll miss spots especially on my back, and ideas to help?
I would definitely recommend trying it out before your actual prom to make sure you have the color you like/determine how many coats you want to do and have someone help to get your back! You totally got this girl!! Have fun at prom : )
I have not had it rub off on my sheets! Just make sure to let it fully absorb before you go to bed. I typically try to apply it early enough so I have time to rinse off before bed just because it feels kind of sticky : )
Um, mine does NOT look like the foam coming out of YOUR bottle...🤔 Maybe because I only shake mine for like 5 seconds!? Mine comes out super watery and very dark brown, barely any mousse texture... I did sweat with this on in 95° weather and it was awful 😨
A, im already tan so i dont know why im on a mission to find a good self tanner. B, every video I watch talks about loving tan but I live in Canada and apparently it’s really hard to get here😐
Yes, I have slept with it on before rinsing off and it didn't rub off. If you wanted to be extra safe you can just wash off before bed since it doesn't require a processing time-I prefer to do that because it is sticky before you rinse it off!
YES!! Great tip-I have made the mistake of rushing right into applying the tan and it causes some irritation and color to build in the pores. Thank you for sharing!!
Alexa Snow I use several self tanner mousse and I use two different back applicators I bought on amazon to apply the entire back. One has a long handle with an oval head to it with a mitt that covers it. The other one looks like a wide strap and has handles on both sides, like a flat long harness. both are easy to use and can be purchased on amazon for less than $10 each.
No! Haha I just didn’t want people to think you needed to shave them when I said to shave everywhere : ) Just your legs and underarms and you are good to go!

YESSS! Thank you! I saw everyone using the loving tan but girllll it’s so expensive 😂
Agreed! I still like loving tan, but this is a much more affordable option!
Just bought this because of you! I’m confused because a lot of other tutorials say to moisturizing prior to tanning, specially the dry areas...
Aw yay!! Hope you love it!! I never moisturize directly before...I just wait until after. If you do want to moisturize before, just make sure to wait until it is completely absorbed! : )
If you’re also missing the summer sun this video is for y-o-u! 👙🌞

@@jocindawiehe5853 what is the other product by jergens you use called?

oooh! Thank you so much for sharing! I am definitely going to try that!!
Thanks for posting this, it was super helpful! How long does a bottle of the Instant Glow usually last you if you're using it on your arms, legs, and body?
I'm still on my first bottle! If I remember correctly, I think I got it in early December. I reapply about every 3-4 weeks. Hope that helps : )

I want to use this on my vacation..have you worn this through hot days/swimming? Does it ball up and rub off easily?
It will be totally fine for hot days and swimming! I've never had an issue with it coming off weird. Have fun!
hey great video! how many "coats" of self tanner did you have in the video demo around 6:00 in ?
have u tried the jergens natural glow 3 days to glow moisturizer? which would u recommend for a pale gal wanting a tan for her first time?
I have not tried the 3 days to glow, but I would definitely recommend this self tanner! It's honestly perfect for pale skin because the color is natural and not crazy dark. Just start with one coat and you can always do more. : )
I just apply with my hands & wash them really well immediately after.
You are more talented than me!! I don't think I could apply it with my hands!! lol
Vanity Rae me too
Hi! To keep up with the tan afterwards during showers, you mentioned no loofah. Would it be bad to shave for the tan??
Hey there! I always shave right before that way I can go a few days without doing it and try to avoid it as long as possible since it does seem to lighten the tan. Shaving won't completely ruin your tan though or make it look patchy-just lightens it some : )
Should I shave first or exfoliate first?
I always prefer to exfoliate first and then shave since my newly shaved skin can be really sensitive : )
How does the tanner react to swimming in chlorine or being in a hot tub?
I’ve never noticed an issue when swimming in a chlorine pool/hot tub!
Hey so I just did this I'm completely dry but can I put more coats to make it darker
Awesome!! I always do at least 2 coats to make it a little darker : )
I really appreciated this video, thank you!!
Same thanks for posting
Do you tan your face?
I have added a small half pump of this product to my moisturizer. Otherwise, I just use a darker foundation!
hey! how long do you leave the jergens tanner on your face? im going to leave it on my body for about 4 ish hours and rinse it off. i know it doesn’t necessarily need to be taken off but i don’t want my face to look like a super fake tan haha

Amy Spilker oh my gosh thank you so much! you’re the sweetest.
Is there any self tanners for the face I don't want dark body and white face lol
Totally understand! I haven't used any, but since this tanner isn't that dark the difference isn't too crazy if you don't tan your face!!
Can I use this to even out my tan I got an awkward tan line and have a party to go to if I use it on just the lighter parts could I blend it into my normal tan
I hear ya! Awkward tan lines are the worst!! I think that should work...you might just need to do a couple coats to get it the right color to match!
If you go swimming with it, will it come off?
Nope! I typically tan right before pool days and have no issues getting it wet!
i have this tanner but i’m really nervous to use it for prom, i’m worried it won’t come out even or i’ll miss spots especially on my back, and ideas to help?
I would definitely recommend trying it out before your actual prom to make sure you have the color you like/determine how many coats you want to do and have someone help to get your back! You totally got this girl!! Have fun at prom : )
@@AmymBem awe thank you!!!
Is this water/sweat proof ? How long does the tan last?
Yes to both! I have gone swimming plenty of times with it. Mine lasts about 2 weeks.
Will it rub off on your sheets?
I have not had it rub off on my sheets! Just make sure to let it fully absorb before you go to bed. I typically try to apply it early enough so I have time to rinse off before bed just because it feels kind of sticky : )
I thought you didn’t have to wash/rinse this Jergens tan off?
I don’t think you have to-I just prefer to after I leave it on for a few hours because it feels kind of sticky! : )
This was actually really helpful rn :)) thanks!😘
Thank you for watching!
Does this stay on well while swimming?
Yes! I’ve never had an issue swimming with this self tanner.
How do you get it evenly on your back?
It's definitely a struggle!! I just try to do the best I can or have a friend help if I know I am going to be wearing a backless shirt. : )
So do you wash it off after or sleep with it????
I've done both! It doesn't need any processing time, but I usually like to do it in the evening and rinse it off after a few hours before bed. : )
Will this wear off on a white bathing suit? The leg part of my suit has white edges and I'm scared of it getting dirty! :(
I've worn this with a white bathing suit and it was fine! It stays in place really well.
Um, mine does NOT look like the foam coming out of YOUR bottle...🤔 Maybe because I only shake mine for like 5 seconds!? Mine comes out super watery and very dark brown, barely any mousse texture... I did sweat with this on in 95° weather and it was awful 😨
Oh no! I shake mine a lot and that seems to help with the texture. Was it the ultra deep one?
Can you go swimming with fake tanner?
Absolutely! You can shower too. : )
Amy Spilker haha awesome! I just bought it yesterday and I love it!
Great video by the way!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
A, im already tan so i dont know why im on a mission to find a good self tanner. B, every video I watch talks about loving tan but I live in Canada and apparently it’s really hard to get here😐
Beautiful
I don’t understand the showering part. So you’re not supposed to wash your body in the shower for 1-2 weeks?
You can definitely shower and swim! You just don't want to be scrubbing with a loofah or exfoliating.
Can u sleep with this over night?
Yes, I have slept with it on before rinsing off and it didn't rub off. If you wanted to be extra safe you can just wash off before bed since it doesn't require a processing time-I prefer to do that because it is sticky before you rinse it off!
Shave morning of that way pores close up on your legs
YES!! Great tip-I have made the mistake of rushing right into applying the tan and it causes some irritation and color to build in the pores. Thank you for sharing!!
Am I the only one who hates the smell of flake away ?!??? Lol
haha it is pretty strong! I think it smells so fresh though! Thanks for watching : )
How do you get ur back? 😂
The struggle is SO real trying to get the center of the back!! I just do the best I can and go with it!
Alexa Snow I use several self tanner mousse and I use two different back applicators I bought on amazon to apply the entire back. One has a long handle with an oval head to it with a mitt that covers it. I think I need to check these out!!! Thanks for sharing!
So wait do you have to shave your arms? Lol
No! Haha I just didn’t want people to think you needed to shave them when I said to shave everywhere : ) Just your legs and underarms and you are good to go!
What's a good foundation color match for this bronzer ??
