+Pascal Geltz Dubstep actually originated in the UK from something called Dub Music. The "Step" in Dubstep comes from the two-step beat. Now Trapstep is quite literally Dubstep with a low trap like base and counterparts. Nothing special about it. Its just trap with a harder drop. Look it all up.
