日暮里（にっぽり）駅は、JR山手線・京浜東北線・常磐線の3線に加え、京成本線と日暮里・舎人ライナーも乗り入れる、東京の隠れたターミナル駅です。そんな日暮里駅を発着・通過するJR常磐線の列車を計8本撮影しました。
Nippori station is not recognized as a major railway station very much. However, JR 3 local lines (Yamanote line, Keihin-Tohoku line and Joban line), Keisei main line and Nippori-Toneri Liner merge here. I took a movie of 8 trains arriving at, departing from and passing through Nippori station on the JR Joban line.

Rain again, yes! Very nice atmosphere, I presume you filmed it during the same day along with the Yamanote sen video. I specially liked the E657 trains, they are very elegant, though more classically designed compared to the E653 series.

It is a rainy season ("tsuyu" in Japanese) from June to July. Many Japanese people feel blue because it is very humid but it is also a chance to take special atmosphere movies. As you presumed, I took Nippori station movies on the JR lines on the same day.

京成の日暮里駅ホームの改装で景観が随分変わったものです。
