Always check up on this guy every now and then to see if he's still alive
Same
Or in prison
I swear he has plot armor, dude's immortal
Me too, and almost every time he has at least one video that escaped my notifications.
My parents
This guy and Michael Reeves are my favorite people to watch because the things they make are so stupid it's entertaining
And yet, they're both clearly really intelligent, to be able to make these things.
@@pyrobola8715 Exactly
Nah they're just ahead of their times
What about the Chemist guy?
@@dubuyajay9964 NileRed?
He is Australia's Michael Reeves, and as an Australian I am proud to exist on the same continent as this cryptid
Cryptid is the best description of this guy actually
So all Australians aren't as crazy as this guy and don't own kangaroos :(
“Does he have a baby?”
He has several babies but we don’t know where he keeps getting them from
Fun fact: the bald eagle scream heard in most movies and television shows is actually the call of a red-tailed hawk
Yeah bald eagles sound like a seagull with laryngitis
similarly most of the time when you hear a Lion roar on TV or in Movies, it's actually a Tiger
Ima be real, anyone who would be crazy enough to try and go to your home would probably just leave when they realize youre not actually an anime girl irl.
LOL true shit
@@aliciaxdeath300lb Weeb: *"Where are you hiding my waifu?!"*
Other channels under the genre of "Wow I hope this guy is still alive" are Nilered, who mostly does chemistry, and Styropyro who has largely gone inactive for various reasons (he's still alive) but mostly plays around with lasers and electricity. One thing I really like about styropyro is that he will do stuff like go through the trouble of making a poorly edited clickbait thumbnail showing himself getting shot in the hand with a dangerous laser, and in that same video actually shoot himself in the hand with a dangerous laser.
Don’t forget colinfurze who regularly makes deathtraps no one should use
Or Mr. Green. His lates video is wild
Just gotta say, your uploads have made recovering from this fever much better. Thank you so much for improving my week. ❤
I hope you get well soon :D glad I can help pass the time!
@@aliciaxdeath definitely should watch more of him, the pressure washer jetpack and the giant beyblade are hilarious
There was a vtuber interview with Koefficent and Pippa. When asked, “How do I get my oshi to notice me?” The answer was show up at her door in the middle of the night with a knife”
Response; “Yeah she’ll definitely notice that.”
Just wanna say, the guy only has a toddler. The rest are his roommates and siblings, like the kid pinned to the roof was a sibling.
Man I really need to hop on these streams, it looks like I'm missing a lot lol
Also this man is the embodiment of edging the line of so smart and clinically insane
There is no difference in my opinion
that man's goal in life is to make everyone as uncomfortably anxious as possible i swear
Wait until she sees the beyblade.
Agreed!
13:51 btw that wasn't his kid that was a magpie, australia's bin bird
I thought the Ibis was the bin chicken.
I once dated someone who's job was moderating ---- pics on a dating site and my god, she had thoughts on ---- picks. But she was also super desensitized she said the creepiest thing she ever saw was a man only uploading photos of himself in a suit on the fetish site which was associated with the dating site and it freaked her and her coworkers out a lot.
I'm just imagining a really well-dressed man, just standing there, _menacingly._
I’m just imagining that one meme with that black guy in the suit in various poses smiling and your friend being scared shitless of him. XD
this guy is not married, he is still single and ready to mingle and the child you saw in the vid is actually his nephew.
Pretty sure the kid is his nephew, and he isn't married.
Also i love that you thought a magpie was the kid at 13:50 😂😂
I feel like Styropyro's channel is the next natural step from I Did a Thing
Like his DIY 1 million volt plasma globe, or the 50,000 volt bug zapper
Agreed
Nah I think that honour goes to Mr. Green. He has the same utter disregard for safety that IDAT has but plays around with incredibly dangerous chemicals (sometimes carcinogens) and electricity. Kinda like a combination between IDAT, Nile Red and ElectroBoom
What about the backyard scientist or William Osman?
8:10 To answer your question, as a machinist, it's not too bad indicating things in after you've done it for a while, but sometimes there'll be that one part that just wants to fight you the whole way through.
Also, a machinist. I know the pain.
6:39 there are even big safety shoe manufacturers that sell steel toe crocs but sadly the safety ranking is to low for the company that i'm working for
Love the vid, Btw he does not have children or a wife the kid is his nephew.
Yeah I was thinking he had mentioned that at some point people on twitch really do just be assuming stuff and saying as fact.
Or maybe The RUclips comments are doing the same thing, six of one
Ah yes, the perfect representative of the Australian way of life.
If you like content similar to his - guy does dangerous and maybe life-threatening stuff and could die at ANY second but has plot armor because yeah - then I recommend ElectroBOOM and NileRed. Both of them are quite intelligent and do _VERY_ dangerous experiments ranging from mixing chemicals to working with _live wires._
And Mr. Green. That man is utterly insane.
The fact that both her and her fiance have differing opinions on semi-serious issues is awesome. It's dumb to let certain things tear us apart.
Rule number one of gun safety; it's always loaded.
Number two; never point it at anything you don't intend to shoot. I don't remember the rest off the top of my head, but I learned this when I was a little kid.
1. Treat every gun as if it's loaded.
2. Never point a gun at anything you're not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to fire.
4. Know your target and what's behind it.
Painting warhammer minis is my time consuming creative hobby, last one took me a combined 48 hours or more, worth it tho
Good to know she is more willing to talk about men’s genitalia than the shallow political commentary in the Ricklantis Episode
Trashy never classy is my vibe this week ✨
@@aliciaxdeath:3
MFers holding grudges lol
Hell yeah, love Alex and Alexa (I Did a Thing and Boy Boy), some of my favorite Aussies.
I always love my Australian boys, they make the most chaotic vids
I love seeing people reacting to I Did a Thing, mans an absolute legend
Oh yeah, he’s not just a unhinged man, he’s an Australian unhinged man!
This video was 10/10, great curvature.
Alicia: I got talked into having a gun because I am a content creator
Also Alicia: Hey all my fans at some point I will learn to shoot which means right now I haven't learned to use a gun yet.
It’s okay that’s what my fiancé is for. But I do plan on going to the range eventually
@@aliciaxdeath Good fiancé. Everything we hear about that guy sounds great.
Should take some lessons and visit a range. Its helpful, IMO necessary for any owner and can be excellent stress relief once you get passed the initial apprehension from wielding it.
Yeah! I plan on doing so :3
Make sure you treat your firearms with the same mentality you'd treat a car. You look both ways, you use your mirrors, you use your blinkers, etc etc etc. A car is an extremely fast death machine for the purposes of bettering human life and equalizing human experience, and unfortunately end more human lives per year than they should. Yet, by following certain rules and ingraining important safety philosophies and techniques into your subconscious, you can drive them like second nature.
It is very important to learn how to drive at your own pace until you intimately understand everything you can about how to safely operate the machine. And once you do, have fun driving
This guy challenges any sort of safety regulations daily. Pretty sure he is the Bane of OSHA
16:22: *"it's like I'm holding a badly-rendered pistol"*
Can relate fr, my 'ADHD havin ass' should not have been allowed anywhere near a CNC machine. Long story short, the machine now has a few extra holes it's not supposed to.
I was watching another video but when i saw the thumbnail I had to jump immediately here, 1 of my favorite creators reacting to another amazing one, he's amazing Alicia and kinda crazy, If you have a chance check his videos even if you don't upload later, his machete fan will make you fear for his life 😂
idk where the idea he has kids came from, they'ren ot his kids, they're his niece and nephew etc. So he's not a dad, but he's a great uncle at least!
The ones claiming to not take "depression naps", are the ones taking "FUCK IT, naps."
Real talk, I've used the nail guns those blanks are made for. Those suckers will put a nail through concrete super easy. They'll break a cinderblock if you use one of the more powerful cartridges.
idk why everyone said he has kids and a wife he literally doesn’t 💀
this man, gives me so much anxiety, and enjoyment at the same time. But mostly anxiety.
If you stuff the waste material from a lathe into your underwear you will probably find out directly why it is a bad idea. Those scraps are sharp on the edges, really sharp. So you get a really good chance of cutting something you dont wanna cut.
My wife used to bring me 1/700 scale battleships while I was in hospital to build when I was there for SEVEN FUCKING MONTHS!!! The staff started calling me the Admiral because I had like 12 battleships and 3 carriers, all WWI and WWII versions. Photoetch pieces are such a fucking pain to get right, especially the railings but when you're done, it's satisfying.
I’m just here imagining hospital staff talking amongst themselves and being like “Hey, can you go check on The Admiral?” Pfft. XD
@@ZettyLad It's a San Antonio thing. You wouldn't understand.
This is my favorite video of his! Lotta ppl don't react to it since its old but you did, for that here is a like!
there are two versions of me seeing this video
Before I did a machining class and after, when I now know how lathes work
And I will say, lathing is a lot of fun as long as you aren't wearing minimal clothes as there WILL be hot metal chips that CAN burn you.
Albiet nude is better than synthetic fiber, as the latter melts to your skin.
There was also a similar bit-stuck-in-metal situation on a drill press, where our best solution was to expand the metal with a blowtorch and wrench it out with pliers. Worked fine though.
"I have one thing fail then I take a depression nap"
Mood.
To be fair, knowing how to shoot a firearm is a survival skill, its like knowing how to gather tinder and light a campfire, or how to build a lean-to in a forest, or how to dig a firepit, or how to whittle and string a bow or sharpen thin branches and tie leaf fletching for hunting, or how to skin a deer or a rabbit and how to shoot them with either a hunting rifle or a bow, or how to hack through tall grass with a machete. Wow, I just basically made a list of things I should definitely learn soon! XD
He did indeed do a thing ngl.
When I had a room mate, he would walk around the apartment naked all the time. He had a thing that after work he'd want to be free. I said, dude, keep it in your room or just don't stand in front of me while you're talking and we'll be okay. Well, he helped a lit to keep the fridge stocked and would even cover my part of the rent when I couldn't pay due to medical stuff so I was eventually unbothered by it.
To your question about the hobby when you have no patience, I started painting Warhammer 40K miniatures recently, I love it but I also want to end myself every second of it.
I also like sewing.
I just find out I love precise work even if it makes me suffer, huh.
as someone how operates lathes professionally, this wideo is like a fever dream...., at least he kinda tries xD
I did a thing goated
New melee weapon with insane armor piercing ability. I aprove.
Alicia hit me right in the gut with the "do you guys do one thing, mess up and take a depression nap and say fuck me then and move on?"
Yes.. Too much.
I don't care how many times people have told me "you can't expect your first try to go great you need experience"
If I don't like my first try
Instant give up
All the time
Instantaneous
i did the mill and lathe in college as a class, its all about getting measurements right and the machine almost does everything for you.
To clarify I took a Manufacturing course in college consisting of welding, machining, and maintenance. In the machining course I used industrial sized manual lathes and mills. I did not participate in CNC machining which involves writing code for the machine to make the part. If your curious out of these pathways I chose the Maintenance technician pathway to continue further.
I took a depression nap yesterday after having an other part fail on my truck
2/10 "long balls"
i have never been hurt this much in my life and idk why my testicles are like this too.
IM SO HAPPY YOU WATCHED THIS lol this guy is a little unhinged and i love it
We have now met thor, prince of the nail
I love I did a thing videos! Happy to see you watched one
Nothing wrong with having a gun in your house for safety, so long as everyone in the house respects it and treats it safely. Seen way too many families who don't care about keeping it safe and their kids...yeah, it's just depressing sometimes how blasse some people can be with guns.
Also the having a gun because you're a content creator is so sadly accurate, seen a lot of streamers lately who've been dealing with crazy fans who are obsessive over them.
yay! love seeing people react to I did a thing!
i did a thing should make a feet focused OF .... but in his OF content his feet are always covered by socks and or shoes
If you mean only fans, that would be hilarious
The gun hammer man does indeed have an offspring
As a gun guy, 17:00 mins in is one of the reasons I like you, your opinions are your own but you treat the opinions that may differ from yours with a fair amount of respect.
He's so entertaining to watch but I also get worried about his well being with some of the stuff he does. I definitely wouldn't do that since I'm terrified of getting hurt. XD
Osha would have a heart attack just from watching him
ah yes, ididathing, your in for a RIDE if you keep watching him, he's just.. different
8:00 Certified aviation machinist. Patience and math. Lots and LOTS of math.
"I made your worst video ideas" is also a great video by him! I recommend checking it out.
I like woodworking and welding because I get to play with sharp objects and fire all the time. I started at 14, and I'm now 17. I got a lot of cuts because of my stupidity around the sharp spinning thingys
17:30 It's mostly people leaving guns out and not training your child on gun safety that's that's usually the problem. If people were trained safely then lots of issues would be solved
Alicia: "I'm glad his kids arent in that room."
The whole ass motherfucker nailed to the ceiling:
1:58 hall yeah. Giga brain
I love working on projects like this, one time I built a gun crossbow out of those cabinet binders with the metal hinges at school with a rubber band. Overall I love his videos
Related convos at 2:50 - When I was in middle school they had given me a physical and were scared bc I had large balls lol, but it ceased to be funny really quickly after they said I may have cancer (I did not but it's a hell of a story)
I may not take depression naps but i do hibernate all year
That's how it often goes. People are against it because they see it as dangerous and can't imagine ever needing to deal with that danger...
...Until one day you do.
2:34 literally what me and my friends did in the tent, first night in the school camping trip
A hamer that uses blanks to set nails costs the same amount of money as a deagle... We live in a crazy world
Hey, I just found yea on RUclips and twitch. This is the first vid I watched and I love your laugh and voice
She talks about balls for more than a minute, that shows how much knowledge she has
A balls seminar. Quite possibly todays strangest conversation. Then again, i did just wake up
To answer the question on crafts that take time and precision, many people, including myself build Gunpla (Gundam Model Kits). In which case, we go to town on them with custom paint jobs. With the right amount of percision, the build in question can turn into a work of art. Definitely takes time though.
This was my first video i've seen from you, so many things are coming up about you I have to rush along my mental notes
Bro made a Boom Hammer from Bloodborne.
This was some good react content. Good job !
Thanks for this reaction.
Next he gave a robot a chainsaw.
22:27 whatever the sound was reminded me of Jeremy Clarksons alpha Romeo pneumatic starter
As someone who's pro gun i gotta respect you owning a gun when you don't like them
the guy he nailed to the ceiling was his brother btw.
fun fact: 10:07 a laith is super dangerous and can shoot a 17 kg block of steal at over 200 mph right in your face (if you dont do stuff properly), i learned this in factory class in school, and the shaveings sometimes shoot onto the floor to. i watched this vid before going to the line of studdy im in and now when i see this i just think how is this guy alive, so thats funny.
edit: i just now realised that he is no where near the emergensy shut down button
edit 2 (i know cringe, nore safety stuff): my factory teacher ones at his old work, there was a acsident (luckly no one got hurt) where a giant block of steal gor flung into the roof and then fell down, if the people would have just moved a tiny bit 3-5 people would have died, but that is with a mutch mutch larger mashin (sorry for the bad spelling, not a native english speaker)
The Moon Rises and Lullaby for a Princess
Came here for the crazy hammer, was surprised by the pen*s rating system at the beginning. Though still hilarious and entertaining all the same LOL
when she sayd i dont care if its an old video, i thought hay we are at the elephants
What a cute Vtuber ❤ I subbed!
And I feel you, even as a guy I've seen too many duck pics too 😂 I wish I hadn't...
Nobara needs to get herself a hammer like this, god damn😂
Also, a YTer calledJ Laser Video did something similar to this, but used it to create makeshift Web Shooters that fired really strong nails and used them to swing around kinda like Spider Man.
He recently repurposed the design to create his own version of ODM Gear from Attack On Titan.
