Book Review - The Lost Story by Meg Shaffer

This book has been everywhere and rightfully so. I hope it receives all the awards and accolades because I thought it was brilliantly written and nostalgic. If you are a fan of C.S. Lewis and other childhood favorites, this book may hit you in all of the right places.

This was my July BOTM and started it today. I am already hooked. The writing style flows so well and I can not wait to really get into it to!!!! ❤❤❤

I got this book on BOTM as well. Unfortunately I gave it two stars, I was really disappointed. This book had so much potential in the beginning but it overall felt unfinished and unedited.
The characters? Flat.
The plot? Underdeveloped.
The story line changed too many times to make sense of and the writing felt elementary. The last 40 pages were useless in my opinion.
