the discord exploded when he showed up and i only put that together a few days later. my favorite way to make a ship is take one of the base game ships and mod it a bit. if it costs 1.1m, what can i do to improve it with another .4? that kind of thing. Was doing that a few days after this was recorded and went to check the author credit on the ship. . . and it was Oneye XD
I thought I wanted a long range death dealer playing this game but the more of these I watch the more I realize you can just win with half your ships thickness in armor and a line of deck guns lol

I've done a bunch of fights in the battle helper, and it seems the ai focuses the highest value target first. If all targets are of same value (i.e. multiple copies of the same ship) then they will pick closest target. There's more to it, but that's the basics.
4:16 A lot of ammo wasted on the side armor makes it so when a rail launcher tip comes into range and angle, the cannons are reloading or between shots and ... 6:15 ...You can see the setup is useless to turn the ship around, activating all the thrusters to turn. Is this AI driven or Player. Can we setup only the thrusters at the tip to fire, so to make a sharper turn?
turn off friendly fire.it is to harmfull to deckguns.i mean you can stack all other guns included the overpowered railgun. so why make one specific gun allmost worthless and a big danger to your own ship?
I sincerely don't understand why they get stuck on asteroids. Makes me want to join your discord just to tell them... Ctrl+D for direct control mode, hold S to go backwards, fixed. It's easy.
