I love what Carrie said about the post-George Floyd grabbing of "Black shows" and Black representation throughout creative industries because just 4 years later we already see things going back to the way they were before. People were bringing Black people to the table for the sake of it but this work is serious and it takes a lot more time because we need to make sure these studio heads or institutions or publishing houses or whoever else in powerful positions who showcase "culture" understand the diverse experience of being Black and how Black people look, talk, act that isn't a stereotype.
