@@whtbowtie do they have to be re-pressurized a certain way after install or will the system handle that automatically. I can't believe everyone was making such a big deal about these being a scary failure point on mclarens if that's all it takes to replace them. I assumed they were some complex electromechanical piece, then watched the Thorney video and realized it's just a metal ball with a diaphragm in it haha. I guess there's very little overlap between supercar guys and picking up a wrench on the venn diagram.
I'm shopping for a used 650S in AZ, and since you're here also, if you bought yours used, did you have a PPI (eg from McLaren) and did you feel it was worth it and thorough?
So I bought mine in California However PPI aren’t the most reliable I did it the old fashioned way Self PPI drove it fast&slow let it idle for a while made sure everything worked Made sure no leaks oil didn’t smell like AF Then bought a useless warranty for 11000 that I never used
Beast. "they can be under pressure"... Up to 7.5bar apparently which is a ton of pressure... "Stuck a rag under there" haha.

lol if they didn’t spin so easily I would have been a bit worried but mine had no pressure
