John and Richie Had perfect voices that complimented each other in Bon Jovi. Jon Bon Jovi was a great front man had an excellent voice, but Richie was also an amazing lead guitarist, and a perfect backup singer to Jon. Jon didn't have the deep vocals that Richie had.
I couldn't believe it that Richie was only a support act to Bad Company when I saw them a few years ago I was one of the lucky thousands that witnessed it. That's not taking anything away from Paul Rogers and co, they were brilliant as well!🎼🎧🤭😁🏴🎸❤️🏴
All the negativity makes me sick. I think he will go back for certain things, but he's right! If u devote 30 yes to something and R sick of it, then take a break. Personally, I thought he was more interestin.

I would be ok with that....maybe...but then the kicker was him touring and fucking Orianthi. By fucking, I mean literally and her career. I would be willing to bet that her fan base dropped a LOT when fans saw her playing backup to Richie as he sang the old Bon Jovi songs. I know that he was the writer/co-writer of many of those songs, but as you said he was either wasted or high, probably both. I don't think I've been able to sit through any of the videos that have been posted of he and Orianthi in dives. I think Phil X was awesome and so did most of the thousands of people who've been to Bon Jovi concerts in the times Richie was off doing his own thing. Jon never said a bad word about him during this time and while there are plenty of things he could say, my guess is that he doesn't want Richie's mom to read it or hear about it. Three years ago on Idol, (the year Mariah and Nicki were judges) she accompanied each of the contestants on one of their songs. I didn't know who she was at the time but was impressed with her. She hides under big hats so you couldn't really see her face. She is incredibly talented.

Well that's the debate but he is not such a good singer as jon that's why when his solo album strangers in the dark it didt do much and the other hand jon made destination anywhere and blaze of glory and the were huge so that's proof who the better singer is there is a reason why jon is lead singer and richie a guitarist but together when they had chemistry they were fantastic but their relationship became strained and stated to show in their live performances shame but like all relationships they come to an end and I think richie was not happy and left to fo other things hopefully it works out for him but bon jovi will go on without him and we just have to accept it and move on and support the band now it's either move on or ship out
Richie was Bon Jovi. He carried the group and wrote the music. Always in the shadows, but nor anymore. Richie can still sing.
