I Really liked this show, very well paced, good style , good little stories , ended well, and would like to season 2 , and more with the Gladiators and boxer's in the next season with the Charioteer's too, Very very tidy with the CGI USE TOO
I liked this. I don't really understand the people who criticized it. I thought it was ambitious for TV, and I liked the story, the actors & actresses, and the characters. (Gosh, there were some horrible deaths, though!)
Seriously one of the best series after spartagus fan of scorpus who will do anything for his pride and tenex for this most ambitious dream killing a emperor..
i like the circus maximus scenes with horses very well shot, rest of the show meh. I really don't understand why you did the Flavian emperors so dirty.
They didn't rewrite anything. Rome has freed slaves that stayed there. They had traders, businessmen and servants from everywhere. Even some emperors could trace some of their lineage back to the colonies
You think all of Rome were pure Romans? Is there even such a thing? An empire which conquests most of the known world and you think none of the spoils it brought back were people of those foreign lands? Silly brain rot take.
Dude, this is the Flavian Dynasty. This is even after Nero rebuilt and made Rome a grander city. The city attracted people from all corners of the empire. Be they slaves, freed men, merchants, artists, entertainers, etc.
