It's kinda sad really. When I saw that I was completely flabbergasted. I never understood why they'd have to criticize him so much. He never showed any disrespect to their country but merely a lack of knowledge. Now I understand why some managers would tell their artist to show them the pictures first for approval before posting it. Chinese people seem more sensitive than I initially thought. It makes me wanna avoid them for a tourist visit for fear that I might do something I'd get killed for because I know nothing about their history. 😔😑🤔

The justification they gave was "as a public figure he should know their history." The guy's an actor not a professor. I mean I'm an American citizen and I don't know much about American history. Who have the time to actually go study history besides their student years? Unless that's your profession or hobby. And even then how many working adult can confidently say they remember every single history? If they want to re-educate their actors then I'm all for it but killing his career because he lacks knowledge is an overkill. I mean no one would cut their children's future just because they failed their finals.
